STEPHENIE SATURDAY: TWILIGHT OUTTAKE - ‘FLIGHT’ (SHOPPING WITH ALICE)
It’s Saturday - and you know what that means: time to highlight another Twilight series outtake written by Stephenie Meyer herself. This week, TA Staffer Claire brings us an outtake from Twilight, Chapter 20, Flight (Shopping with Alice). This is a longer version of Chapter 20 where we see Alice and Jasper take Bella on the run to protect her from James. We’ve included some great questions at the bottom to get your minds working, so please read, respond and tell us what you think!
So, without further ado, we bring you the outtake titled Flight (Shopping with Alice).

That was amazing, if that would have been in the book WOW, we would have felt the connection and love this family really had for Bella and that Bella had for them.
I appreciate Stephenie’s writing style a lot. She doesn’t dumb down her characters’ dialogs, using 25 cent nouns & adjectives. Her grammar is impeccable as is her punctuation (unless someone else does this). Plus I truly enjoy her situational humor.
Yes, I think this chapter adds depth to the feeling of rapport between the characters, especially Jasper. Thanks for sharing.
i really liked that. it should have been in the book. it would of been very good if it were. i noticed that in it it said ‘if carol or emse get hurt…’ she means roasile right?
Jennifer I was thinking the same thing and also it has Bella taking off Rosalie’s clothes, didn’t she change clothes with Esme?
