Congratulations to Stephenie! This is a huge honor and I’m sure many will agree with me that she deserves it, hands down. She’s had an amazing year and I think she was the easy choice for the award.

What do you think of this news? Do you agree that Stephenie deserved the award?

I cannot imagine anyone else winning this award especially after all the success of her saga, and now the success of the movie adaptations as well. Congratulations to the creator of our beloved Twilight stories! I cannot wait to see what other wonderful fantasies she comes up with in the coming years! Very well deserved, indeed!

Absolutely, hard work and dedication, eventually recieve acknowledgement. This is her time to shine and with what a passion she does it in. I admire her as a women and I also am filled with anticipation awaiting her future novels.

Of course she is a winning all the way just that to see it on display with the other children’s books it seemed out of place, I guess since it appeals to much wider audience, and especially when you think of some of the chapters subject matter. But I am very happy for her and her work should be acknowledge for the fine craftsmanship that has brought pleasure to so many!

Great for Stephanie, but I still don’t understand how Breaking Dawn is still considered a “children’s book”. This was more adult novel if you ask me and nothing “kiddie” about it.

Congratulations Stephenie , absolutely positively deserved… but I agree with featherhead Children’s book?? That depends on what age group the children are ,I guess….
Author of the year YES. Well done Stephenie, please finish and publish Midnight Sun, I just can’t bring myself to read anything else and I am already reading the print of the Twilight Saga books that I have they are so loved that they are falling apart…..

Congratulations Stephenie! That’s so awesome and you deserve every award you get.

I’m still confused while it would be for a childrens award, BD is the least of the saga that should be for a younger audience. Oh well that’s great for Stephenie.
