    Hi!
Anyone in DC, New York or Miami that listened to the Radio Hour available to tell us what occurred?
Once again Little old South Carolina got overlooked. Please share…..

I’m listening to it right now on http://www.channel933.com in San Diego… So far, nothing too special.

I listened to Denver’s hour on KTCL.

I have to say I’m getting really annoyed and worn down by all the Twilight disdain I’m met with on a regular basis.

I got my email right before I left work. I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss it so I called KTCL to verify the time. It took me forever to get through, but the station has a contest at 4pm daily so the lines were tied up for that.

Nerf, the dj, “pretended” to be ignorant at first when I mentioned Summit Entertainment, but he gave in when I asked if they were really going to have a “Twilight Hour”. He told me 6pm which was wrong! He was pretty disdainful of the whole thing. He told me that Summit had bought the whole hour. I told him that I could tell he was thrilled. He said something like he didn’t know what all the fuss was about and that he didn’t even recognize any of the actors. I told him that he was really missing out. I was as pleasant as I could be, but I was gritting my teeth.

I thought some of the soundtrack songs would be played. Paramore, since it’s on their regular playlist, would have been great. If anything, I think the dj acted out with some of his music choices during the hour including playing the Discovery Channel song by the Bloodhound Gang which I’ve not heard in forever on the station because I think it’s been yanked.

I have to say I expected as much. KTCL is an “alternative” station and whenever I’ve called up or gone to events, the djs always act very anti-establishment, etc.

I enjoyed listening to the hour, but it was the same old stuff. I expect that all the stations did something similar…KTCL/Summit (?) gave away 500 downloads of the soundtrack. I didn’t win which is okay since I already have it. I was hoping some tickets or pre-screening tix would be given away.

Did they say anything about clips? Which, I don’t know where they will display them.
