I figure they won’t announce it until after New Moon premeire’s or maybe even at the premeire! That would be cool. They definately can’t not do Breaking Dawn that would be hitting below the belt! (To all us fans anyway) I also hope the don’t change to movie just so it wont be rated R (for the tennie boppers). I say stay true to the books! I say if your under 18 have your mom or older friends but the tickets! Can’t wait till the announcement comes!

Dude i do hope they change the movie – no not necessarily in rating… but as in a more active and going-somewhere plot line. Or at least just leave bella and edward and their baby alone and just focus on JAsper and Alice’s journey!!

Those of you who wish to be cast or have their children cast? This movie won’t be shooting for 6+ months from now. The reality is your child won’t be involved. In fact, I have a strong inkling the child will be largly done by animatronics/digital systems as you can’t have a real-life baby act the way it will be needed for the impact.

If you have a child that you think resembles Renesmee? Congrats! Sounds like a total looker.

AND, if they did, by some wild chance, use a real child for Renesmee, it would be twins, as they do in many, many other movies. And most likely more than one set, as she grows at an incredible rate. And with the rumors flying around that it will be broken up into two movies, I am guessing the actors will take a break in between filming the two portions.

Now, be a true twi-hard, I can understand wanting to get on set and meet the cast, etc. but being an actress myself, I would never want to put my kids on set and subject them to sitting there all day and trying to get them to act, or at least not scream and throw a tantrum in front of the camera.

Yeah, they’ll CGI most of the Renesmee, IF Breaking Dawn gets made.

as far as im concerned, theyre not going to get a 12 year old to play Kate Denali, sorry. Kate Denali looks in her mid 20′s. I think Katie Cassidy would make a perfect Kate Denali, even though everyone wanted her to play Rosalie, lol. They probably will mostly CGI Renesmee, which is a shame, but it’s impossible to get a kid to grow that fast.
They’ll probably announce casting during or after they finish filming Eclipse, which should be in around 2 months or so, seeing as they’ve set the release date for Eclipse at 30th, June 2010. So, keep your fingers crossed guys, and prepare yourselves!
Heres hoping they do make a Breaking Dawn film, it will be extremely difficult, because there will be a massive controversy on the rating, as there are sex scenes, and the delieverance of Renesmee, and all the graphic stuff of the film, i’m gonna guess they’ll rate it, for America, R, for Australia, at least MA15+. I guess we just have to wait.

why does everyone keep saying oh i’m 8 or 12 or 16 i could play an older Renesmee. go read the book. Renesmee is never portrayed older than looking like a toddler.

and furthermore, the movie will definitely be a PG 13 rating. if you think Summit would eliminate the books target preteen audience by making it rated R, you’re out of your minds. They will just have to cut out the sex and make it more implied…which is what the book does anyway.

I do not have a ton of acting experience and that is because i am a inor but i a do acting classes in a local arts project. I'm really sorry to say this – and I'll try to make this less rude, but there aren't really a lot of chances that all of you people who are from, like, seven months old to sixteen or eighty are all going to appear in Breaking Dawn! I'm not trying to be a negative person! I'm just reminding all the people who are “casting” by sending pleads online on a comment section the HUGE CHANCE! Just remember if you happen to go see Breaking Dawn and realize you aren't Kate, or Carmen, or Renesmee, its because Summit entertainment chose other people who are either professionals or are pretty good people who were alredy appearing in minor movies. Well, I hope you feel better, whether or not you go on the last Twilight saga movie. Till then, I guess you should keep your hopes up!

Has anyone actually found out if and where they are doing Breaking Dawn casting? I'm sure nobody of true casting importance is going to see this, but I have acting (stage only) experience, but would love to broaden my horizons. Being a part of the Twilight Saga is my dream, I believe that I would fit the part of Kate, to a 'T', I am already fair skinned and have long pin straight blonde hair. I think the makers of the MOVIE ‘breaking dawn’ could make a refference to an adult Renesmee at the end of the movie, but it’ll be a very small part.
