SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT: BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD TO REPLACE RACHELLE LEFEVRE

We have breaking news from Summit Entertainment. The actor Rachelle Lefevre who played Victoria in Twilight and New Moon has been replaced. For Eclipse the role of Victoria will be played by Bryce Dallas Howard.

Summit Entertainment has announced tonight that Bryce Dallas Howard will take over the role of â€œVictoriaâ€ in the upcoming film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Rachelle Lefevre, who played Victoria in Twilight and the upcoming New Moon will not continue in the role due to scheduling conflicts with another commitment the she has made. Eclipse is due to start filming this coming August in Vancouver.

â€œWe are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise,â€ said Erik Feig, Summitâ€™s President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions. â€œRachelle brought â€œVictoriaâ€ to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.â€

Bryce most recently starred in Terminator Salvation as Kate Connor and has been seen in Spider-Man 3, Lady in the Water, and The Village. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her leading performance as an actress in the HBO film As You Like It.

I’m sure Bryce will do a good job in the roll as Victoria but I really really loved RACHELLE LEFEVRE… She will always be the Victoria I see in my head when I read the books… I’m also really disappointed in the powers-that-be that made this decision and how Rachelle was treated… She has been great at promoting the movies, she is interesting and well spoken in interviews and deserved the chance to be the star in Eclipse!!!

Rachelle was fantasically sexy in this role and owned it. I am really disappointed because I wanted to see the same cast for all four films. I hope this doesn’t mean that the films will be going down hill from this point. This is a bad omen that could lead to other roles being recast. Let us hope NOT! It appears Summit really does not care what the fans think anyway.

I think this is just stupid i mean bryce may be an incredible (soz for the spelling) Actress but she is just to innocent to be victoria surely they could have let her film a week before it offically started so she could get her scenes done as she isnt actually init that much in the book and to be honest There will only ever be 1 VICTORIA *supporting Rachelle obviously*

Why did these people have to ruin it,why she never said she was leaving to do another role,they just fired her,they wanted to get rid of her,that’s like having Kristen replaced with another actress,she was the perfect Victoria,she was Victoria,no offence but they should have had Bryce play another role,they should have done their dame job and talk,sit down have a meeting and talk about how she was going to be in both movies doing both roles be an actual professional,its obvious she was smart about it thought through because she herself was shocked when they fired her,she was already talking about how she was working out for the movies,but no they didn’t want to sit down they just fired her and replaced her,might as well have her character killed off,like I said I hate replacement,they should have people sign a contract next time,I don’t think I’m going to watch Eclipse maybe I will watch for Bella and Edward of course,but I won’t be as hype as I am for New Moon,I’ll just be comparing Bryce with Rochelle as Victoria.

Omg no Rachelle is the best Victoria and the other woman looks nothing like her. Rachelle is a part of Eclipse without her it want be the same. I hope Rachelle does play victoriana because the other woman will never work. All the fans should all protest this. It’s so wrong.
