Exciting news, lovely Twilighters. We have just gotten word straight from Summit Entertainment that they are holding an online open casting call for two of the roles in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. So, if you match the descriptions below and think you’re right for the part of Seth or Leah Clearwater, then you may be in luck:
Seth Clearwater :
(Male - Age 15) is a Quileute Indian and the youngest member of the La Push wolf Pack.Leah Clearwater :
(Female - Age 19) is a Quileute Indian and the only female member of the La Push wolf Pack.

I’m just curious if anyone has done homework to make sure this is legitimate or not. When you go onto the website, it says that in order to submit your audition, you have to sign up for their membership, which costs a fee. Just because it has the Summit logo doesn’t really mean anything since I get e-mails supposedly from Ebay all of the time with their logo, but then it turns out they are fraudulent.
I’m not saying this isn’t legitimate, but I would like to be 100% sure before I give these people my money.

I had more time today to go back to that website and I’m hoping I’m reading this correctly. According to their rules, you do have to register to be a member, however:

So I won’t have to fork over any membership fees after all, according to this, unless I want to stick with them after this audition.
Well i am native american, short hair and 23, slender, but i wish i really did have chance at it. it would be kinda cool.

I wish Bree was open for casting too but there are three problems.
1.I am British and can’t do an American accent to save my life!
2.My hair is long and light brown, Bree’s hair is dark and short!
3.I am 13 though I am very very tall and I’v been mistaken for a 16 year old a few times lol!
I have one good thing though!

How about Qorianka Kilcher. Hollywood has been so unwilling to promote her because she won’t abandon her heritage. They want her to play the “game”. Instead, she fights for the oppressed and society’s underdogs. She wears inexpensive clothing, she gives to the poor, she reaches out to troubled teens around the globe. Qorianka fights to preserve the environment and never hits the tabloids. She has won so many acting awards and is beautiful inside and out…why not cast the first Native American Leading Actress in Hollywood for a Native American role. Qorianka also has martial arts black belts. I bet she would be a fierce werewolf. She will fit right in with the guys…she has that edge in spite of a sensitive heart.
I just want a part! Like an Extra, and do i have to meet all those recomendations for Leah? If i audition for Leah and dont get it, do i have a shot at getting something else? i dont care what, i just want a part! Oh, i amy not have the looks, but make-up can fix that! I would love to be a newborn(Eclipse), or a witness(Breaking Dawn), but I’m not enrolled in acting classes….and also i’m only 14. But I’m 5′10 and look like im 16. I would love to be in any experience to meet new people. well, hello. i imagined myself being in the eclipse , and you know i really have no chances. nobody does .only the best will be chosen . and sometimes the best is either hard to find but found either never seen or found.i played in some russian movie before i moved to america 7 years ago. i perfectly match bree same hair, same age, same features , i dont know i really want to be in the twilight saga . a million of boys/girls do. but when ill be watching the eclipse or breaking dawn , ill be looking at the person who is going to play the role i wanted. ill be proud of that person. but if it would be me . i would be even more proud.

I have been trying to get into acting for a while now. If there are any available parts in Eclipse, even as an extra, I would like to be part of it. I am almost 16 years old, brown hair, blue/green eyes, average.
I looked at the site, and the people took it down due to overzealous fans bombarding them. If you are one of those people who send multiple e-mails and such, please stop doing that; you’re ruining it for everyone else! I really hoped I could have a chance at the part of Leah, but now I’ll never be able to. If someone knows of somewhere that I can still audition, then PLEASE let me know. I promise I won’t annoy the heck out of people with constant e-mails and whatever.

From my understanding, Summit is looking for those of Native American background. (Unfortunately, NO EXCEPTIONS). I’m right there with any of you looking for the opportunity to take part, but sounds like Summit knows what they want. Good Luck to those of you still willing to try. I here there are a couple various sites that don’t require fees to submit an application and headshot, along with other ways to show your support for the cast and crew of the saga.

here’s what i have heard from an AGENT in my area. The Canadian acting league wil not hire american actors to work as part of a canadian film unless they are represented by an agency themselves. This breaks my heart…my best advice to you……start ASAP GOOGLE CRAZY FOR VANCOUVER TALENT AGENCIES AND START MASS EMAILING….GET A HEADSHOT AND ARTISTIC RESUME AND MEMORIZE A MONOLOGUE….THEY WILL WANT TO SEE THESE THINGS…. TRUST ME…..I HAVE SPOJEN TO 2 AGENCIES MYSELF…i hope this has helped at all

Bree is not cast yet… And a website that says you must pay them money is a fraud. I found a site and have sent my headshot… resume… etc, and I was not required to pay any sum of money at all. I was given the address to mail my things and was expected to wait from then on… I check each morning on the site where I found this information.. And as of today… Bree has yet to be cast… the part is still available…But callbacks are in process at the moment so I am uncertain as to if my headshot and resume will even be acceptable or even read for that matter… There is a chance that I think to be legit but possibly untrue: Eclipse begins pre production most likely this week… and begins shooting on August 17th which is an exact 17 days away, which means that the final callbacks are most likely completed and if a Bree is not found at the moment.. I cannot see a reason for them to decline letters storing your resumes and photos within them. The problem is.. I am uncertain as to whether this is even a possibility, as I said before.
I have sent in my things and have yet to receive the call I am hoping will open a few doors… The roll is being cast By: Sean Cossey/Stuart Aikins… and the site I am in tune with is very strict in making you realize that the production companies or directors numbers, fax numbers, emails, and personal drop off addresses that are given out on the internet… are not to be didsturbed by one who wants a roll in eclipse whether its an extra or the part of Bree that so many are wishing for.
Even though I feel horrible giving out this website I speak so highly of, I feel it is the right thing to do.. All I will say is there are only SEVENTEEN days until shooting begins.. and I do not know if resumes and photos will be looked at for certain so please find that out for yourselves and get back to me.
