TA fan Libby talks about the rumors of Kristen and Rob going out and what she thinks of them:

I think for the past two or three weeks Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been on the cover of almost every gossip magazine out there. Some say they’re a couple, some say Rob’s getting involved with other women, there’s ultimatums and now talks of the Twilight cast dividing. It’s all crazy to me. I personally don’t believe these things until they’ve been confirmed by the people themselves. But does it really matter? Has it ever occurred to the people that write these articles that they’re SURPRISE actors? Maybe it appears they are in a relationship because they’re good at their job.

With all these insane speculations growing hotter and hotter, it’s made me wonder. Some people are so against our dear Rob and Kristen becoming a couple and some are totally for it. Where do you stand? I for one am on the fence. I don’t care if they are or aren’t. I’m not in the corner wishing and hoping that they do become a couple and I’m not condemning them if they don’t.

I think they would make an absolute adorable couple. We are well aware of the natural chemistry between them already. As well as they both seem very shy and almost uncomfortable in the limelight, also they both seem somewhat awkward and weird. In numerous pictures and videos of them they both are fidgety and out of nervousness (just an educated guess seeing as I don’t personally know them) run their hands through their hair. A small part of me is weary because there is still at least one more movie to be made and god forbid they don’t work out as a couple what will happen. Then my realistic side decides that they’re both professionals and will still bang out a great performance and make us fans proud.

As for, and I quote- ” Rob and Kristen’s relationship is dividing the cast” regarding Kristen and Nikki Reed and a supposed love triangle. People love a scandal (Jon and Kate anyone?) and I think the tabloids are trying to make something out of nothing. Nikki and Kristen are best friends, said so by the stars themselves, and are working together during the break between New Moon and Eclipse. Honestly though, how do either of these stars even carry-on a relationship (with each other or anyone else) at this point. They’re both pretty much the next big thing in Hollywood and from what I’ve learned they both have pretty hectic work schedules this year. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

First of all, does it really matter. Sure they look good together, but I personally think they are both too busy to be in a long distance relationship at the moment. Added to that, all of these reports of Rob with the majority of his female co-stars with no proof other than these tacky reports is ridiculous.

I look forward to photos from the set of New Moon and Eclipse when it starts filming in August. Obviously these reports are written with no investigation put into them what so ever.

I say leave Rob and Kristen alone to do their jobs

I am agreement with Kristen’s post and the majority of this article. I am somewhat neutral to these two dating as well. At first I didn’t like it because, in contrast to this article, I find them to be very different. Robert always seems happy, upbeat, and lighthearted while Kristen seems serious, sullen and dismal. I don’t personally think people have to be just alike to date, differences are good and needed in a relationship but it just seems like their overall outlooks on life are different.

That said, if they do, in fact, make each other happy then by all means I would prefer them to be together. These two are dealing with a lot of stress and happiness is something I think they deserve in return for the amazing job they are doing with these movies and pleasing the public.

I am in agreement with this article that it is stupid to keep on assuming things when there has been no confirmation from the people themselves. People take all these gossip magazine for fact when really it’s all he said she said, ‘onlookers’, or possibly stories that are fabricated for publicity. I must admit their co-stars are denying it less and less and Kristen’s boyfriend is not in recent photos but I still say the best thing to do is wait for a confirmation from Robert or Kristen. What does them dating do for anyone? Why is this such a pressing issue? Let them be. They’ll tell people when they are ready to, that is if they are together.

I am totally on the fence to. If they are so what? If they arn’t who cares? The fact is that the gossip magazines and such have gotten to the point that they now assume that they are a couple and that Pattenson is able to “cheat” on Stewart! I understand that the are they, arn’t they will go on for a while because they twilight cast art the “hot things in hollywood” that I can stand. But it is that fact that some people (E! Online for one) seem to have accepted the “relationship” as a fact.

IT IS ABSOLUTELY NO ONES BUSINESS what they do in their private lives. But….who buys the magazines. Oooooops I do but I take the articles with a grain of salt. I saw Rob in an interview and he said they write so and so is upset because he broke up with her or went out on her and he has never even met the girl. He said, where do they get that stuff!) I hope each of them can have a fulfilling relationship no matter who they are with. I love it the cast hang out together when they can and all seem to care for one another. Like Kristen said, leave them alone to do their jobs!

I don’t like them together. Rob could do better. He really could. I’m not doggin Kristen but I kinda see through her. She knows what she’s doing and I feel like Rob is just along for the ride. And she can give up the whole being hugely famous in Hollywood is so annoying and blah blah blah. We all know you work hard, we get it. She needs to put on a smile with the rest of the world.

You know, I am glad finally someone said something about the gossip tabloids and all the rumors running around. As mentioned, the concern here is that there are two more movies to be made and if Robert and Kristen are in a relationship and split up, what happens to the next two movies? But then, if they are professionals, which I think they are no matter how young they are or how new to stardom is, they will complete the movies and play the characters to the best of their ability. I hate to read and hear about all this negative stuff and as mentioned, they have other movie interests and have to play their characters well. Just like the rest of us who have jobs, we have to perform to the best of our ability. Thanks for bringing the topic up.

Good article Libby, at the end of the day,â€ Does it really matter if they are going out?
We have heard it all before, they look together, they have chemistry, of course they do and they have, thatâ€™s what made Twilight such a great love story, they are young they are having fun, of course they are close, the whole Twilight cast are, thatâ€™s another reason why we love them so..
I loved it at the MTV Awards when they won Best Kiss, and then pretended to have a kiss and Kristen said â€œ Thank you very much and walked offâ€ and later on she told the interviewer, I told Rob I am not going to kiss you. Donâ€™t people see they are just having fun that everybody expected them to kiss so they didnâ€™t, maybe because everybody expects them to be together they are not..
Whatever, if they do end up together, then so be it… But until they say it and until they confirm it, people with a brain will not believe the Gossip Magazines anyway…… speculation and hearsay
This is a Message to the Gossip Magazines from me: That whole speculating thing is getting really old and we are all getting tired of it, Rob and Kristen, Rob and Kristen, print something else why do you, gee. And paparazzi please let Kristen fill her car with gas and donâ€™t stick a camera right in her face and ask â€œAre you and Rob dating?â€ Do you guys really think that she will tell you, let alone tell you at a gas station, how stupid are you people?
One more quick thing re Kristen, she is not this giggly, fake smile, airhead thing, fake hair, fake boobs, fake nails, high heels, pretending to be someone she is not, like letâ€™s face it some Hollywood Starlets are. And we can all see through that….
Kristen is more serious, reserved and quite, there is nothing wrong with that, she has her own unique style, and I for one like her because of that. Do we all need to see her paste a fake smile on her face, no. When we do see photos of her smiling and having fun with friends etc.. itâ€™s genuine.

i think they’d make an adorable couple and would be perfect for each other, so i hope they are. but it’s not gonna totally devistate me if they’re not. and if they are and they break up, i have complete confidence that they would both be total professionals and not let it affect the filming. and it can be done. i’m a huge One Tree Hill fan as well, and Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush got married and divorced in the process of filming and their on screen chemistry never wavered and they still played friends and bf/gf on the show. so i think people should just leave them alone about it, and not spread rumors that Rob is hooking up with someone else if he and Kristen really are together.

Personally I think there’s a lot of publicity to the saga: the story and the characters r so appealing, they’re both gorgeous n their chemistry, uau…It wld be like a dream come true! But course there r things to consider: thereâ€™ll be 2 more films (hopefully!), she’s been on a long term relationship – which means a lot…But the pressure is high: the media, the fan’s expectations (me for instance) to see if their “love story” reflects Edward and Bella’s true and endless love…Well, we’d seen so many beautiful love stories that begun in a set and went on! I guess by now u know where I stand! Hope they can cope with all this fuss to the end (BD) and then…

Yes,I too am glad this gossip stuff was brought up. But not about the Kristen part,but the way they have been trashing his name in New York.Now he’s suppose to be with this one and that one!To me,that’s just what it is!TRASH!!!! When I read the other day,how Rob,continued saying his lines,during that horrific scare of the building collapsing,while they were filming,”REMEMBER ME”,it told me he is one dedicated guy. He’s really into his career,and I think all those meetings with his costar are about the movie. Also,I really do not see the same chemistry,AT ALL,with Emilie as with Kristen.

i dont really care one way or the other if they date…but i really think if they want to date, they should hold off till the end of the movies being filmed. cuz if they fight & break up, then we are gonna see it on the screen..it happens to the best of them. & for the sake of the movies, i dont want that to happen:) but as for their relationship, who are the fans to say if they should or shouldnt be? its up to them. im just hoping they hold off..more like praying!
& i dont care what the dumb tabloids write, i pick those mags up to see all the HOT pics in them..lol! & my teenager cuts them out & hangs them on the wall

One thought I always had and continue to do so, especially since neither Kristen or Robert have publicly said anything, is that maybe all of their time together and pictures, etc is just an act. In the end, the movie and the money it makes it all that matters. What if Summitt asked them to hang out and make sure the paparazzi knew about it….would it not sell tickets to movies and magazines? As well as keep ANYONE from forgetting the movie was coming out? There have been other times in movies where this has happened. Just look at Gigli. I have no idea if this is true, but it definitely makes people pay attention to not only them, but the films/books as well.

I personally don’t care if they go out or not. If they do great if they don’t great. I also think that whether they would like to go out or not it has nothing to do with fans or the movie or any other drama. So if they are supposed to be together (because they do have some chemistry) they will get together.And I hope no Robert obsessed fans decide to crazy over whatever may happen.

However, if they do decide to date, they should wait until the Twilight Movies are completed in it’s entirety.

Business first, personal later. I think Ashley Greene said something to that effect as well and I totally agree with her!

Well, although it’s their own business, but I just wanted to talk about the point of Kristen already having a boyfriend!
Though Rob and Kris look adorable together and I always wished -before knowing that Kris is having a boyfriend- that they would be a couple, but it’s unfair to leave Michael for such a reason which is finding chemistry with another person.
There is a question in my mind that I always wanted to ask out loud!
What if it wasn’t Robert Pattinson who made Edward in Twilight, would it ever be the same? Is it about Bella and Edward or about Rob and kris?
Is it always about chemistry guys? Is that chemistry enough for a successful relationship? Is it a rule that all actors and actresses that have chemistry between them should end up with love?!
In my point of view, Chemistry ain’t enough!

to J – I completely agree with your statement. 100% so. People keep saying it would be ‘Summit’s worst nightmare’ if these two were together. They keep saying over and over that it would be bad for Summit if they dated and then broke up so they are telling Kristen and Robert NOT to date. I think that argument is bull. I think Summit wants them together for the reason you mentioned, it created hype and hype means more bottoms in the seats at the theater.

Robert and Kristen being together in real life means free publicity for the movie during the down months between filming and releases. And IF they ‘break up’ it will only create MORE hype and then people will go to the movie to see if it effected their performances. Summit knows that these two will always be professional regardless of their personal relationships so this is not a problem. Bottom line, either way this makes money for Summit so I’ve always thought they were behind it completely. If their stars are together, it creates hype, if they stage a break up, it creates hype. Hype is what’s important in Hollywood.

PLUS, Michael Angarano, Kristen’s real boyfriend hasn’t been seen anywhere since April. This makes me think that he is in on it too and he’s laying low in order for this all to play out the way Summit wants it to. I bet they will be back together when the movies are over when Kristen and Robert can stop pretending to be together.

Kristen is only 19 years old. She shouldnt be settled down with anyone right now.

As for chemistry…

It’s more about common ground and I DO think that Kristen and Rob have A LOT of commonalities. Perhaps that’s why it’s so easy to see them together. They LOOK like they fit together.

As for hype. It doesnt matter if they are together or not. The hype is already in place just by the public speculating. Dont you think?

First of all, anybody can see that rob/kris have an amazing connection with eachother (no NOT edward/bella)- I think it would be awesome if they are together… they both would make a beautiful couple. For me, the connection and respect that they have for eachother is so much more important than anything… As far as Michael goes, that’s old news- he is NOT Kristen’s boy friend anymore- nobody should be dating the same guy for like 4 years, since they were a young girl- that’s just crazy… so whatever is going on with rob/kris, with you both much happiness!

i think that they would make a cute couple, but if they are dating, and brake up, then that could ruin the chemestry Edward and Bella has. that is only a possibility, and something to consider, but i think that them dating would be fine. they are great actors so if they are together, and brake up before breaking dawn, it will all be ok because they are great
