Twilight Stars Are Now Interview Pros by Southern_Twihard

I am proud to admit that I spent my entire weekend (March 21st and 22nd) watching my Borders Special Edition Twilight DVD set. It was so wonderful to watch the movie again (last viewing was in December), but I REALLY enjoyed watching the extra stuff!

The extended and deleted scenes gave me chills…the footage from Comic Con made me super jealous of anyone who actually attended it…the documentary of the movie’s creation was phenomenally cool!

But, one thing left me dumbstruck…the interviews (done in July 2008). Eek…the interview with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson …they were both SO uncomfortable and nervous…I truly thought Kristen was close to throwing up at one point. The interview with Rachelle Lefevre and Edi Gathegi was awesome, but still…

I am just SO impressed that all of the Twilight actors have so vastly improved their interview skills during the last seven months. Just this morning, I watched a few of the actors’ most recent interviews (posted on TA), and…it is like watching different people!

I can NOT fathom what they must think or feel when they do these interviews, but I am so honored that such professionals represent our beloved Twilight saga.

Agree? Disagree? What do you think about the interview skills of the Twilight actors?

Definitely agree. Last year, I felt the stress and downright fear they seem to feel in some of the early interviews. As much as I wanted to hear what they had to say, I didn’t want them to have to suffer through more interviews. It was a brutal Catch-22.

Now, they seem to have grown into their status as stars, even if they didn’t seek that part out. The maturity and professionalism shows.

Good choice of word, honored. Me too.

I so agree. Rob and Kristen are much better now at interviews. I knew it would take them some time-in fact, they are both doing better at this point than I thought they would. I remember when I was watching the Today Show they did in November, I was wondering which one of them was going to pass out first. Ha ha. They have come a long long way. I love them both but last year, every time they would do an interview, I would get nervous for them. I so wanted to see them but was almost dreading what other people would say afterward.
I don’t think I have to worry about that anymore. At least, not with Rob! Ha Ha They are both very professional and they do respect their jobs and the fans. As for the other actors, all of them seemed comfortable doing interviews from the start. But, they weren’t under as much pressure as RP and KS either. Nor made to do as many interviews.

Well, they were uncomfortable and it showed. They didn’t know each other as well as they do now. They have finished one movie together and on to a new one. You can tell how both of them have matured and able to deal with the media so much better. You can actually see the difference by viewing a video then, and viewing one now. At one point, Rob was a nervous wreck, now he handles himself with more confidence and professionalism. Kristen has also improved in handling herself among the media. In the present day interviews, they are more confident with one another and it shows.
