TA TALKS BACK: WHY IS ROBERT SO LOVEABLE?
TA forum member Meghan brings us an article about Robert’s appeal:
It seems that Robert’s face is all over the internet from gossip sites to YouTube, you can find him anywhere! What is it about him that makes us want to see him so much? Is it that adorable smile? The witty comments that have a tendency to make us laugh or when he bursts into laughter?Through this article I hope to discover the secret power that Robert has come to wield over women all over the planet. With the help of E! Online and You Tube we should be able to pinpoint some of the reasons why women everywhere have fallen for this 22 year old Brit.
Celebrity-ad dictionary is a hilarious installment to E! Online’s web site and it gives internet users everywhere the ability to create words that relate to some of our favorite celebs. Here are a few words about Rob: “Pattzy[1]” is someone who is a victim of Robert Pattinson’s awesomeness. To be “Pattisfied[2]” is to be dazzled by Robert Pattinson. A recent addition that had me laughing out loud is “Robarian[3]” which is someone who dedicates their life to the study of Robert Pattinson and/or has a degree in Pattinology. Since the beginning of the Twilight Movie phenomenon there have been dozens, if not hundreds of interviews with our favorite cast but I must say that my favorite ones include Robert. He manages to make the simplest topics quite interesting. Here is a list of my top 20 favorite quotes and moments from RP’s interviews:

I absolutely love this article. It’s so funny and clever. And it’s a good example of why Rob is so charming and why we are all infatuated with him!
I think the reason why us women love him is because he is so easily accessable and he brought Edward to life. Plus he is real and was born with the charsmia that people find him attractive and he didnt have to work hard for it. It seem like Stephanine actually wrote Edward for Robert Pattinson!
I couldn’t stop smiling while reading this article. Another great quote is when the cast did the etalk interview and Nikki told Rob that a group of young girls told her they were going to marry Rob but their mothers said they had to wait until they turned 21. Rob’s response was “See, these mothers, these mothers are always getting in the way.”

All I can say is that I’m infatuated, charmed, engrossed, engaged,immersed, absorbed, dazzled, enamored, obsessed, hypnotized, enchanted, fascinated and definitely under a spell by this beautiful, lovely man!
He thinks the fans are in love with Edward, but I for one am charmed by Robert Pattinson himself. The article highlights why — it’s his funny personality! Of course, he’s very attractive, but there’s definitely more to him than that. I hope he never learns to filter his comments.

Oh Meghan, Well Done! I loved your article, I think I love him for all the reasons you listed and I love how he says “what??” in his interviews as well. He’s absolutely PRECIOUS in his interviews because he really doesn’t care, I really think he’s being himself. You summed up my “Pattis-diction” perfectly. I know I’m a “Patti-holic”, I admit it but I do NOT want help.
How can u not include the line “I’m the leader of the free world, what do you do, loser?” which was in response to why he would want to be POTUS, and he said he’d just like to be able to say that!!! It was an MTV interview, as well. My other favourite is “It starts out all kiddy and then turns into hell, as all kisses do”. I THINK that was an MTV one as well, but I’m not sure.
All in all though, I LOVED this article. There were several quotes that I hadn’t heard before that are going into my list of favourites…that one about the 4th of July had my ROTFL!!!!

There were SO MANY to choose from! lol I think I watched 9 sets of 8 minute compilation videos and probably a dozen others. It was extremely hard to choose but that’s why I’m glad you all are adding your favs too!
I decided to stop at 20 because if I kept going I’m sure I could have ended up with a hundred…I didn’t want to torture Dawn!
Robert Pattinson is an amazing person…although I thoroughly enjoy him as Edward, I enjoy him as a person more. He has such a fun, quirky & loving personality. Plus he makes me laugh out loud…

I hope he doesn’t ultimately turn into a dick like so many other kids that get so much so fast. He doesn’t seem like he would do that, but who knows. I hope he remains genuine and normal as he appears to be now. It’s what makes him so easy to like. I told my sister when he was Cedric Diggory that he would be big one day and I hope he is just thankful for his gifts and remains a good person. I look forward to watching his career. I kind of feel like he will take the Depp route and do some major films and lots of smaller, different films. He really seems to love what he does and I believe he will do it for the love of acting rather than the money. I think ultimately, he would be the kind of person who doesn’t like to always be noticed unless he is doing something like acting, etc. I don’t think he needs the limelight as much as many others.

I am absolutely INTOXICATED with this sexy Brit. His gorgeous, striking face is what startles you in pics and in the movies, but his quirky adorkable personality is what sucks you in with interviews. “My voice…my face…my smell…everything about me draws you in.” Got that right! He is hysterical and I love how he laughs out loud in interviews, he is full of life. He is a breath of fresh air in this phony fake business. I hope he never loses the uncensored comments he makes. I LOVE his facial expressions and how his eyebrows go up and down. Somebody needs to get him in smart quirky comedy quick(I am impatiently waiting for How to Be)
I love the hard tool comment, LOL, that whole interview is hilarious! I also love these-”My chest isn’t even that hairy. It’s like early pubes.” lol “(Fan)Girls either want me to impregnate them or kill them.” Talking about relations with Bella…”It’s sex where you end up killing the person afterwards.It’s the best kind of sex.” When the same interviewer asked about Bella’s dad…”Oh I’d kill him too.” And playing his own trumpet comment LOL! I love the leader of the free world-loser one too. There are probably 1000 other comments that make me LOL! Rob, please don’t ever change and keep them coming.

For whoever asked about watching interviews, go to youtube, there are tons of interviews from all over the world, 100’s if not 1000’s of Rob videos, many are pieced together by fans showing hilarious moments. There are tons of Rob fansites that post them too.
