This seems like an awesome way for Forks, WA to take advantage of the spotlight that Twilight placed on them. More power to them–I know I can’t go to the event, but I’d be happy to support a team to raise money for a good cause.

What a great way for Forks, WA to capitalize on Twilight. I am definitely going to donate to team Alice, haha.

Go Forks! This is awesome! I’d like to also note, I’m the team captain for our Relay for Life team – Team A-C. Our booth/campsite theme this year is also Twilight, next year will be New Moon, etc. I’m a huge fan and am so excited to incorporate these books/movies into an event that means so much to me and others.

Bakersfield RFL is the second in the nation to bring in the most money for Cancer research.

    Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.

    Wow. That’s kinda cool!!!

This is an awesome idea!!! What a great way to raise money for a good cause and include Twilight at the same time! Go Team ___(insert name here, because I can’t decide)____!!!! :D

  • Zoe

Yay! I want to go! I mean Forks is only 3 hours away from Seattle! I should take the Twilight Fanclub of Washington with me hopefully! I’ll do anything to stop cancer. But that’s not really a subject I want to get into…..:(

This is VERY AWESOME!!! I can’t wait to pick my favorite vampire and support them for such a worthy cause. I pray that I live long enough to see Cancer cured. This is a disease that has touched Everybody in some way either in friendship or family. I love this – Thank you so much for sharing TA!!!! I’ll be supporting in memory of my Aunt Susie!

  • Jennifer

This IS AWESOME!!!!! I have been involved with Relay for the past several years, and am the Survivorship Chair for the Spokane, WA Relay. My 7 year old son is a four year cancer survivor. I am also a HUGE Twilight/Stephenie Meyer fan! This is the coolest way for Forks to use their new spotlight to raise money and awareness to find a cure for all cancers! Kudos…and maybe I can convince my husband to take a road trip to Forks the weekend of August 7-8? (fingers crossed)I will call it “research” for my position as Chair…but we all really know I will just be soaking in all of the awesomeness that is Twilight!!!

  • Sam

    Ah! That’s sweet,
I would totally do it if
I did not live on the other side
of the country but, haha that’s awesome!

  • LynnHollywood
