TARGET: ‘TWILIGHT’ DVD 3-DISC DELUXE EDITION

As if there weren’t enough versions of the DVD already, Target has yet another special edition ‘Twilight’ DVD available for pre-order. This one is a 3-disc deluxe edition and is currently at a price of $22.99. Read below for more details:

• This exclusive edition includes a free iTunes download of the film and bonus content including a conversation with Stephenie Meyer and Edward’s piano concert
• Features Robert Pattinson on “Becoming Edward,” Kristen Stewart on “Becoming Bella,” Catherine Hardwicke’s vampire kiss montage and Bella’s lullaby remix music video
• 2-Disc Special Edition includes commentary by Catherine Hardwicke, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, 5 extended and 5 deleted scenes and introductions
• Also includes a 7-part documentary “The Adventure Begins: The Journey from Page to Screen” and music videos by Muse, Paramore and Linkin Park
• Also includes a Comic-Con fandom piece, a Comic-Con NY sneak, 3 trailers and a Penelope sneak

A 3-disc edition sounds cool, but my head is aching from all of the 1-disc, 2-disc, special edition, deluxe edition, whatever edition DVDs. I wish they’d just have one or two types of DVDs so we could make an easy choice. Having said that, I’ll still probably buy this one, too, along with the other 75 editions.

    wow, for a second I flipped out because I pre-ordered my special edition Twilight (2-disk edition) from BAM, but when you look at what is included on the 3 disk edition…

    its really only one or two things

    but man, all these “SPECIAL EDITION” , “COLLECTERS EDITION”, and the “somewhat-SPECIAL EDITION” things are really making my head spin!

    Ah.
    There’s so many editions to choose from.
    I’m debating between Borders & Target.
    I think I’m going to choose Target because the movie will actually come on March 21, if I order it on Borders is going to come at least until April.

    It looks like the 3 DVD set HMV Canada is getting. Americans should be lucky that Target.com ships at all. HMV.ca stopped shipping anywhere (even within Canada) acouple of years ago.. The site is only good to check if the item is in stock at your local HMV.

    I am going to try to get the Target one because I gotta have the iTunes download so I can carry it around on my iPhone haha! AND I will eventually order the one from Borders. This is so crazy…but I love it and I can’t help it! SO excited the dvd is coming out in just a few days!! Woohoo!!! =D

    guy’s just want to say get the borders it has more stuff the pics are great i got mine i love it and even the over its a better deal and you get everything theres a little hideing thing in the movie to where the menu is but you have to find that your self :) lol

    i am another one who was extremely annoyed with all these different versions of the dvd. it really is uncool how many there are because of the different things each comes with. i would boycott them all for the company’s exploitation of our money if i didn’t love the movie so damn much! Almost every store should offer all or at least most of the various versions of the dvd, so that you don’t buy one and then find another that is better, and then buy that one as well. then you can pick and choose which one you prefer easily. or there should have been just 2 different versions of the dvd. is there even a regular version??? so far as i know there isn’t a regular one. I bought the one from hot topic first for the film cell, then i saw that borders had a deluxe edition, and they called the 2 disc special edition the regular edition! and I got that one as well. then just today, i look at the target ad, and what do i find??? I find yet another version of the movie!!! i do not want to buy another twilight dvd but like many others i am curious about this third disc that target offers. sigh* yeah i’m very annoyed!

    Jeez… I race out to buy the 2 disk DVD box set of twilight and then I get all excited that I have it! I go on youtube and see becoming and Im lyk WTF o.o I didnt have this and now they have the Deluxe edition! WTF! Why dont they just come out with two?! A normal one and this one..Trying to make twilight fans bankrupt!

    I got the 2 disc from Blockbuster…. then I found out the next day that the Target 3 disc has a scene from Midnight Sun! ( I saw a blurry image of it on Youtube) So I ordered that one too!

    Does anyone know if any of the thousand versions of the DVD/Blu-Ray of Twilight has a deleted scene from Midnight Sun? I remember hearing about it a few months ago, but nothing now.

    I am not satified with my dvd because I just got it and it stops for a few seconds and then plays again,it’s really annoying.

    omg i bought the one disc cuz i didnt want to go searching for the 2 disc(yesturday)
    but i want the deleted scenes SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much
    and the extras so when i get money i will prob buy the 2 or 3 disc one as well omg i will so wait for the two disc one for new moon
