Taylor Lautner in Red Vinces licorice
Artist Jason Mecier has created portraits of Kim K. and Taylor made entirely from about 500 pieces of—ready for this?—Red Vines licorice. Both works are part of We Like to Watch TV, a new San Francisco art show of celeb portraits by Mecier and his partner, painter Adam J. Ansell.

Peter Facinelli to visit Fredericksburg
To fans of the movie blockbusters Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse he’s Dr. Carlisle Cullen. Now, Peter Facinelli is coming to Fredericksburg to meet his fans. Facinelli will visit Spotsylvania Towne Centre on Saturday, Aug. 7, from noon to 5 p.m., at Center Court. Autographs and photos with Facinelli may be purchased for $25 and $40 respectively, with partial proceeds going to benefit the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a charity that seeks a cure for childhood cancer.
