We have even more exciting news for you today. Straight from Summit Entertainment, we have the “Meet Jacob Black” preview that was shown in front of Bandslam showings this weekend, and as another added bonus, we have a new film synopsis for you! Check it all out below:

In the second installment of Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally successful TWILIGHT series, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as BELLA SWAN (Kristen Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of—only to find herself in greater peril than ever before.

Following Bella’s ill-fated 18th birthday party, EDWARD CULLEN (Robert Pattinson) and his family abandon the town of Forks, Washington, in an effort to protect her from the dangers inherent in their world. As the heartbroken Bella sleepwalks through her senior year of high school, numb and alone, she discovers Edward’s image comes to her whenever she puts herself in jeopardy. Her desire to be with him at any cost leads her to take greater and greater risks.

With the help of her childhood friend JACOB BLACK (Taylor Lautner), Bella refurbishes an old motorbike to carry her on her adventures. Bella’s frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob, a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe, who has a supernatural secret of his own.

When a chance encounter brings Bella face to face with a former nemesis, only the intervention of a pack of supernaturally large wolves saves her from a grisly fate, and the encounter makes it frighteningly clear that Bella is still in grave danger. In a race against the clock, Bella learns the secret of the Quileutes and Edward’s true motivation for leaving her. She also faces the prospect of a potentially deadly reunion with her beloved that is a far cry from the one she’d hoped for. With more of the passion, action and suspense that made TWILIGHT a worldwide phenomenon, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON is a spellbinding follow-up to the box office hit.

    so much better in HQ! AGHH! this movie is going to be so awesome! I love how they had Jacob scenes but they also had a little Volturi scenes, Victoria scenes, and even entire wolf pack scenes! I am hypervenilating now!

    Awwww Mannnnn.. pure torture having to wait until November to watch the entire movie!!! I remember the way I felt seeing the trailers for Twilight.. it was almost surreal to see the book come to life.. and now the same thing with New moon. With every new teaser, I have ZERO doubt that it’ll be an amazing movie adaptation of the book!!

    Is that the polished version? Slightly worried about the special effects and cgi. Hope it lives up to the book is all. That bike tip is shocking! I do love the wolf transformation tho, thats pretty wicked. Just get the feeling the character movement is looking like something out of a computer game. Really really hope not!! Been waiting forever for this

    *squeals loudly* I love the trailer!! It definitely builds up the suspense. The music in the trailer is really cool also. The only thing I’m worried about is the piece where it “appears” that Bella and Jake are going to kiss. Hopefully that’s just the part right before Edward calls to check on Bella. Can’t wait for November!!

    AAAhhh, it looks great not quite as good as when I saw on a big screen but still woooonderful. My only problem was the Spiderman effect of Jacob climbing the tree and the side of Bella’s house and getting in her window. It was too much like what a vampire could do, example…Emmet catching that fly ball during the baseball game. In the book the wolves when they were human didn’t have those kind of special abilities, but that’s just how I see things.

    I can’t wait for this movie !!!!!!!! I love watching it over and over…
    That Kiss at the beginning …..help…

    Can’t wait to see Team Edward leaning WAY over in their seats come Nov 20th. lol It’s OK you can love them both. You’re not being unfaithful to Edward. He’ll understand. hahaha I’m team Switz now.

    I hope they DO kiss. There are a few things in Twilight not in the book but man oh man having Bella seeing Edward in her room and him frozen in the corner got the ol heart pumpint erratically. So bring on the Bella and Jacob Lip Lock! (I’m dying of laughter over here).

    I keep seeing Taylors face when he talked about Eclipse and the “Love Triangle”. That boy is eager!

    It looks good. But I am worried about the scene where Jacob is jumping through the window. The wolf transformation is much better then that.

    HOLY FRICKIN TAYLOR!!! That was the SEXIEST THING I EVER SAW!!! I went to see Band Slam the day it came out for that preview. I went back the second day to see it again!!! It’s THAT GOOD!!! What can I say… I’m an addictded to Taylor… tee hee.

    I watched it five times this morning and put it on my iphone just to make sure that the goosebumps weren’t from the cold….and I am happy to say the goosebumps are most definitely NOT from the cold and I think I may just die before the movie comes out from these teasers Summit keep putting out there…..ARGHH, BRING IT!

    CAPTIVATING!!! FANTASTIC!!! Words do not do it justice. Edward & Bella’s kiss in the beginning made my heart stop.I watched this over and over.Jacob is smoldering HOT!!! The young girls will go crazy over him. MY HEART BREAKS when Edward Breaks up with Bella. All the clips make me more and more ANXIOUS for Nov 20.

    !!!!!!!! Amazing! Jacob’s arm looks kinda weird at that one part with the motorcycle…. Dakota Fanning looks really creepy with red eyes. Do Bella and Jacob kiss?!?!
    SUPER EXCITED!!! The theater better have medics on hand for the amount of unconcious girl they’re going to have from the dangerous Rob/Taylor combo ;)

    AHHHHHHHH!! I can’t stop watching this. I saw this in the movie theater the other day, and I actually cried because I was so happy lol.. I LOVE this trailer and cannot wait till Nov. 20. And to make it even better.. TAYLOR LAUTNER is sooo hot :D haha

    Hehe!! I love how this is looking. I was really hopeful when Chris Weitz was made director, and now I know that it’s going to be great. Hopefully there won’t be any of those weird awkward silence moments like there were in Twilight where everyone in the movie theater busted out laughing.

    Basically we have like 3 months so that’s not that bad. I just can’t wait until it comes out on DVD so I can watch it whenever I want!

    I was totally captivated until “Don’t get me upset…” And then I died in laughter… What happens next… He says, “you wouldn’t like me when I’m upset,” turns green and grows purple shorts?

    Oh hilarity. And BTW. He definitely climbed in her window the night he told her about being a wolf… He climbed up the tree.. Stefenie just didn’t specify how… I think it’s possible.

    I know this was a focus on Jacob, but you got to see the Volturi!!!! It was awesome and I loved the new scenes with the wolf pack and we saw he cliff dive incident…wow. Just wow. This movie will be absolutely amazing!

    Back Again! Honest to God, I just got goose bumps watching this trailer. I notice different things each time I watch it. Jacob is such a HUNK and his sweetness shines through. Hard to imagine him MAD. I cannot wait to see the entire cast in this movie.I am mesmerized!!!

    So excited. BUT. I’m still really concerned about the wolf! I just watched The Chronicles of Narnia and the lion and wolves in that movie were so real. The Jacob-wolf is a cartoon character. You cannot make a cartoon character look real. Ugh. Everything else is perfect. :)

I’m shaking in I don’t know I just love it, omg victoria’s hair is just like a flame now! and Edward awww poor Edward he looks like his on his own personal heroin lol.     I have watched this trailer about 5 times or so and I’m just getting started. I’m absolutely not worried at all about the success, adaptation or the quality of this movie anymore. It’s perfect. I can tell already. It will have just what everyone wants and needs. Although, I am an Edward kind of girl; Jacob is sort of getting to me. He’s beautiful, powerful and down right amazing. I’m speechless, honestly & truly.

    i dont even know how many times ive watched this and EVERY single time i have the same reaction…lol especially when Jacob says “Dont get me upset” AAAAHHHH and Jane!!!! im speachless! i just need to say one thing…in recent interviews im remember Chris Weitz saying that the “wolf transformation” has changed since the first trailer at the movie awards. but in this to me it still looks the same. Anyone think we havent seen the “final” cut of the transformation?

    What did Jacob call Bella in The movie just before he kissed her. I know she is Edward’s “singer” but Jacob called her something in Native American that was not in the book. Does anyone know?
