We have even more exciting news for you today. Straight from Summit Entertainment, we have the “Meet Jacob Black” preview that was shown in front of Bandslam showings this weekend, and as another added bonus, we have a new film synopsis for you! Check it all out below:

In the second installment of Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally successful TWILIGHT series, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as BELLA SWAN (Kristen Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of—only to find herself in greater peril than ever before.

Following Bella’s ill-fated 18th birthday party, EDWARD CULLEN (Robert Pattinson) and his family abandon the town of Forks, Washington, in an effort to protect her from the dangers inherent in their world. As the heartbroken Bella sleepwalks through her senior year of high school, numb and alone, she discovers Edward’s image comes to her whenever she puts herself in jeopardy. Her desire to be with him at any cost leads her to take greater and greater risks.

With the help of her childhood friend JACOB BLACK (Taylor Lautner), Bella refurbishes an old motorbike to carry her on her adventures. Bella’s frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob, a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe, who has a supernatural secret of his own.

When a chance encounter brings Bella face to face with a former nemesis, only the intervention of a pack of supernaturally large wolves saves her from a grisly fate, and the encounter makes it frighteningly clear that Bella is still in grave danger. In a race against the clock, Bella learns the secret of the Quileutes and Edward’s true motivation for leaving her. She also faces the prospect of a potentially deadly reunion with her beloved that is a far cry from the one she’d hoped for. With more of the passion, action and suspense that made TWILIGHT a worldwide phenomenon, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON is a spellbinding follow-up to the box office hit.

    OME. I am completally blowen away. I love when bella pushes paul and sam cooles him down. and when he comes into her room. Like edward. My hart can not stop beeting so fast i can not breath. i am white nuckled. IT IS TORTURE TO HAVE TO WATE TILL NOVEMBER. LOL

    Back Again! Honest to God, I just got goose bumps watching this trailer. I notice different things each time I watch it. Jacob is such a HUNK and his sweetness shines through. Hard to imagine him MAD. I cannot wait to see the entire cast in this movie.I am mesmerized!!!

    So excited. BUT. I’m still really concerned about the wolf! I just watched The Chronicles of Narnia and the lion and wolves in that movie were so real. The Jacob-wolf is a cartoon character. You cannot make a cartoon character look real. Ugh. Everything else is perfect. :)

    OMG OMG OMG! me and my mumave been squeeling and I and getting shivers and my heart is pumping and just OMG! I’m shaking in I don’t know I just love it, omg victoria’s hair is just like a flame now! and Edward awww poor Edward he looks like his on his own personal heroin lol. Jake is so like perfect and Bella looks so much better than in the first one and her hair is actually died properally! lol

    I have watched this trailer about 5 times or so and I’m just getting started. I’m absolutely not worried at all about the success, adaptation or the quality of this movie anymore. It’s perfect. I can tell already. It will have just what everyone wants and needs. Although, I am an Edward kind of girl; Jacob is sort of getting to me. He’s beautiful, powerful and down right amazing. I’m speechless, honestly & truly.

    OH MY DEAR LORD! I am hyperventerlating SO badly right now…I’m gonna be needing a paper bag when i go and see this to breathe into!.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE this trailer…i think everything looks amazing! Dakota looks amazing as Jane, I just cant wait 3 months exactly tomorrow!

    i dont even know how many times ive watched this and EVERY single time i have the same reaction…lol especially when Jacob says “Dont get me upset” AAAAHHHH and Jane!!!! im speachless! i just need to say one thing…in recent interviews im remember Chris Weitz saying that the “wolf transformation” has changed since the first trailer at the movie awards. but in this to me it still looks the same. Anyone think we havent seen the “final” cut of the transformation?

    What did Jacob call Bella in The movie just before he kissed her. I know she is Edward’s “singer” but Jacob called her something in Native American that was not in the book. Does anyone know?
