THREE NEW ECLIPSE STILLS!

Even more exciting news tonight, this time from Summit and Eclipse! Three new stills have been released from the movie tonight. The first features the Cullen family with Alice, Rosalie, Esme, Jasper and Carlisle (no Emmett!); the second has Bella and Jacob and the last features Jacob, Bella and Edward. Check out these beautiful pictures below!

Wow these pictures are fantastic! I love the picture of Bella, Edward and Jacob. You can almost feel that tension between Edward and Jacob. I’m also loving the picture of the Cullen family. They look so cool in their blue colors. Nice matching family Alice!

What do you think of these new still from Eclipse? Is there a certain scene you’re hoping to see a still from?

Umm…why are their outfits so coordinated to fight newborns? And bella’s wig is obvious…. BUT I’M STILL SOOO EXCITED TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!! CAANNOTT WAAAIITT!!!!! Anyone find any books that “suck you in” like Twilight did?? I’ve not found anything even REMOTELY close!! HELP!

Hahahaha thats funny the cullens are all matching. I like the one with Bella and jacob. I’m not a team jacob fan in fcaf I’m team Edward! But I dunno something about the bonfire and the whole night scenery looks cool. I like the one with Bella Edward and jacob too. It’s true it looks like Edward and jacob wanna attack each other. The tension is building! I’m so excited! I just can’t hide it! Btw Rachel u should try the Mental instruments by Cassandra Clare. It’s pretty close to twilight addiction(my opinion) and it’s got vampires and werewolves as a bonus plus romance. Give em try there pretty good.

Rachel, have you tried the Blood Books by Tanya Huff? They are also vampire novels and are really great. The TV series Blood Ties (sadly no longer running) is based on these books. Good Luck!!

yup! (to ‘saarah’ kinda thought the same, and… taking the pic maybe?, it’s def. not edward, he’s way too busy trying not to listen to jake’s not-so-pg13 thoughts about bella at the tent!)

the other ones: at a bonfire? quileute legends maybe? and the last one, jake seems th9inner than edward and he is shorter? thought they’d shoot those scenes w/ taylor on some kind of step to fix that

I’m so glad they finally got Rosalie’s hair right. She looks so much better in that still than in either of the other movies. Her hair looked like straw in the “vote scene” in NM.

Jasper’s hair!!! BAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! He looks like Fabio! And the matching Cullen sweats. That is hilarious. I kind of like it though.

Saarah, if you read the top Emmett isnt there. If I had to guess he is most likely fighting. lol. I love the family one! Alice matches them so perfectly!

Much ado has been made about Kristen’s wig in Eclipse. IMHO, Jackson’s wig is far worse! He was pretty darn hot in Twilight (with his own hair!) and the New Moon wig (necessary due to the mohawk he sports as Sokka in The Last Airbender) was not my favorite. But the Eclipse wig??? (Take another look at the pic above – ugh!) Not sure what the makeup department is trying to do, but they’re killing me! There’s been far less consistency with his appearance between the three films than the other characters. I suppose since he’s not a “main” character, per se, they place less importance on his appearance. But it would have been nice, especially with a nice focus on Jasper and his backstory in Eclipse, if they could have given the poor guy a decent wig!

Someone commented on Bella looking much different in Eclipse, v. Twilight (not necessarily related to the wig). I agree. But has anyone else noticed how different Edward looks in both New Moon and Eclipse v. Twilight? In Twilight, he almost looks more “human”, if that makes sense. The brown contacts were softer, not so dramatic, and, unfortunately due to the timing of filming, Rob has definitely aged since Twilight. And it’s obvious. Edward appears so much more mature in New Moon and Eclipse.

Not sure why, but Rob looking different/older and Jasper’s ridiculous wig bother me more than Kristen’s bad wig any day. Again, just my humble opinion. Curious if anyone else noticed/cared.

anyway i love the pictures but is the last one at bellas house when she broke her hand (although it dosent look very broken ) or is it at school ?? Any way I love the pics and can’t wait to see the movie

I agree with you Melissa, I didn’t even know what that was. I thought his hair was blond like Rosalie’s? It’s horrible. I’m speechless…

bad move with jacksons wig. vampires dont change their physical appearance. thats why alices hair will always be that pixie cut.because thats similar to how it was when she died. so why is jaspers hair getting longer? do the producers even read the book or do they leave it all up to melissa rosenberg? not happy jan!!

I read this when i wanted somethng new and i laughed loads and screamed once lol
I have just brought My love lies bleeding by Alyxandra Harvey – Its good so far it is also recomendedfor Stephenie Meyer fans!!!

Twilight is awesome! and i am re-reading Eclipse for the 3rd time right now so its fresh in my mind for the film

@Bella89 Melissa Rosenberg is just the screenwriter and has nothing to do with what his hair looks like, that goes to the behind the scenes type crew who I think the director chooses.

But I agree there should have been consistancy with the vampires and their looks since they aren’t suspoosed to change. They should have at least kept the same make up people and etc from the first movie so every movie would look the same.

But besides that I likey the family photo…which is definitely missing Emmett. And I kind of like Jasper’s hair xD. I’m probably the only one but oh well . And Taylor looks smaller compared to New Moon
…where did all the muscle go ?????
