TOP TEN TUESDAYS – TOP 10 MOST ANTICIPATED SCENES IN ‘NEW MOON’ (PART 2)

Last week we brought you part one of our 10 most anticipated scenes in ‘New Moon’. This week, we bring you the final ten, bringing the grand total to 20 scenes . Even though 20 scenes seems like a whole lot, there were still tons that we were sad to leave off the list. I know you all will have plenty of great scenes to add to our own list(s), so don’t forget to add your most anticipated scenes in the comments!

 

So, without further delay and in no particular order, we bring you:
Part Two of The Top 10 Most Anticipated Scenes in the ‘New Moon’ Movie

- Laurent in the meadow: After several failed attempts to find the meadow, Bella finally locates it but is surprised to see Laurent there; who is unknowingly being pursued by the Wolf pack.

- Bella and Alice reunited: When Bella spots Carlisle’s car near her house and is ecstatic to see Alice inside; Alice saw her jump from a cliff and couldn’t help coming to check on Bella’s well-being.

- The Volturi: When Edward, Bella and Alice meet with the Volturi in Italy to negotiate their way home and Jane uses her power to cause Edward pain.

- Bella and Jacob’s age game: Jacob and Bella’s ongoing game that they play in which they add and subtract years from their actual age depending on silly things like height, experiences and accomplishments.

- Bella sees the wolves phase: After Bella and Jacob talk on the beach and discuss what he is, he takes her to the pack. Paul loses his temper, phases, and comes after Bella. Jacob phases and attacks Paul.

- The motorcycles: Bella cries in her truck when she realizes that Edward hasn’t kept up his end of the deal (“It will be as if I never existed”) and decides not to keep her end of the deal (“Don’t do anything reckless”). She finds the motorcycles and takes them to Jacob, where she offers him a motorcycle in exchange for riding lessons.

- Edward’s “first” proposal to Bella: After returning from the Cullens’ home, Edward and Bella continue to argue about her becoming a vampire. Edward asks Bella what she wants more than anything. Bella wants to have Edward be the one to change her. The condition? She marries Edward first.

- Meeting Emily: After Paul’s attempted attack, Embry and Jared take Bella to Emily’s house. We see the way the pack interacts with each other.

- Found: When Sam finds Bella laying in the woods after Edward tells her he’s leaving. Sam carries her home to Charlie and we see the note Edward forged for Bella, telling Charlie she’d be in the woods.

- Final confrontation: Jacob betrays Bella by telling Charlie about the motorcycle. He waits in the woods for Edward and Bella where Jacob reminds Edward that the treaty is over if any of the Cullens bite, not kill, a human.

    Well, considering it’s an extremely long book that will be condensed into a 2 hour long movie, I highly doubt the age game stuff will be in there. I’m most excited about the “bites not kills” remark from Jacob, and the meadow scene – I’d love to see if Kristen is capable and willing to pull off that range of emotion.

    I know this probably won’t make it in the movie but I’d love to see Billy Burke and Ashley Greene in action on this one:

    After Alice’s return, Bella is lying (not laying, by the way, reference ‘Found’ above) on the couch and wakes up to hear Charlie and Alice talking about “how bad it was” for Bella when they left. Charlie explains how bad it really was and Alice says something to the effect like, “I told him!” (meaning Edward, of course) That was just a really great piece of dialogue to me in New Moon.

    I just read New Moon again last week and I told a friend of mine that this scene was one I would love to SEE on the big screen. It’s ironic that this topic was revisited! Thanks! I’m feeling validated now! :)

    I would love to see the scene when they vote for Bella to become a vampire and also the one scene when Edward says he can’t leave her again, never!

    Love those two :D

    what about when bella pulls out the stereo from her car, i think that would be a good thing to put in cause it shows how upset she is etc. and i agree about the dialogue between alice and charlie

    what about the part when bella jumps off the cliff, and the scene in the epilogue where bella goes to edward’s house to discuss becoming a vampire. I really want to see edward screaming and roaring because of bella in front of his family.

    If I had to choose a scene I can’t wait for, it would have to be when Bella’s dreaming in the beginning and she has the dream about herself as an old woman with a very hot young Edward- perfect movie opener….. I really liked this part of the entire book, it was the least depressing part! Haha, and how Edward wakes her up…. I’d love to be whispered to by a seductive vampire….. but “Happy Birthday”? I side with Bella on that, I don’t really like birthdays either! Ugh, I’m gonna be 20 on my next one…. I’m old!!! Lol!

    As much as I love the way Rose is portrayed in the books, I cannot wait to see the start of her being nice to Bella. Her apologizing to Bella is one of my favorite parts. I think that the apology comes from the family, but it’s saying something that Rose is the one who vocalizes it. And I am definitely looking forward to the plane ride home with Edward and Alice. The entire time he is kissing her everywhere but her lips. Definitely the part when they are waiting to leave Volterra. (Alice: Maybe you should slap her) And then when they arrive at the Sea-Tac airport and Esme and Carlisle run up to Bella and Edward. I just love that part. All of them are a family at that point. It makes me feel all warm and tingly inside.

    What about when bella and edward are finally reunited… And edward thinks he died cuz he sees bella… that’s a good one…

    i hope they make it like 2 1/2 hours. i’d stay and watch it, b/c they’re such good books they should be long, b/c there is a lot to say

    HEY!! you forgot the biggest two parts!! bellas birthday party at the cullens!! and she jumping of a cliff!!! also i might add, when edward leaves bella

    i love the 2 times where Jacob and Bella almost kiss…i think it shows a lot of how much she’s still holding on to Edward. Also, the birthday, and alice and charlie in the kitchen (both stated above)

    I agree kijo921 love your comment…I didn’t thought about that one. I also remember I liked that parto of the book.

    It gaves us an outsider’s perspective of how really Bella was like that week when she knew Edward had left.

    Oh and to let the other people who have left comments this is the 2nd part of the scenes we would like to see in New Moon. Some that were mentioned on these comments were on the first part :)

    i think the scene where edward leaves bella should be in there because since thats the biggest part in the book and when she jumps off the cliff thats a big part as well:)

    definitely should have bella hearing edwards voice, which makes her want to do dangerous stunts in the first place.

    I really, really, really want to see the scene with Emily. They just HAVE to include it. I love that scene and Emily is one of my favorite characters. I like her more than Bella! I really want to see all the werewolf stuff, especially that scene where Paul nearly attacks Bella. I can’t wait for this movie!

    I really hate his part in the book b/c Edward is in a great deal of pain but I really want to see when Jane uses her powers on him. The actress who plays Jane needs to be really good to pull this one off (Fanning?) idk anyways…Rob is going to need to perform big time to do this (which he will DUH!) haha

    i really would like to see the scene when bella wakes up after the whole trip back from italy and she thinks she is dead or still dreaming because she can’t believe edward is actually there in her bedroom….and then the conversation they have about him leaving her because he loves her and has always loved her….they have to have that in the movie it is the best part in the whole book!!

    Kijo921-I loved that part of the book too, Bella listening while Charlie explains to Alice just how bad it got after they left. I also thought about them adding that scene in the movie and showing that part of it-where Charlie calls Renee because he doesn’t know what to do and Renee (in Bella’s bedroom) is saying she’s going to take Bella with her-then Bella “wakes up” from her catatonic state and refuses to leave Forks. That would make a very dramatic scene plus give the actors who play her parents something to sink their teeth into.

    Ahhhhh well you guys! the 3rd chapter.”The End” yea! ahh I really want to watch that scene! and so ummm where hey says La Tua Cantante!…[sighs] ahhh:] I really love Twiligth!!!!!!!!!

    Yeah..i love the scenes between Bella and Jack..Their friendship..Was really funny the part with the motors and then when Bella hears the Edward`s voice..and when Alice comes to see her..are a lot of good scenes in this book!!!!

    OMGosh.i just loveee the movie and i cant wait to see it!! it come out here in Australia november 19th and i am counting down the days. i have read the book 5 times but im not going to stop there!!! i just love the book and i hope they stay truthful yo it.
