By now, I hope you’ve all received, watched, and dissected your Twilight DVDs. Since there are several different versions of the DVDs, and unique extras/special features that are included only with some versions, our resident DVD extraordinaire and TA Staffer KrazyEm has brought us a special DVD related list this week.

    Can you include which edition of the DVD these things are found on? Some of these extra’s aren’t on my copy, and I’d like to know what copy I need to borrow!

    OMG the audio commentary with Catherine Hardwicke, Robert Pattinson, and Kristen Stewart was one of the funniest audio commentaries i have ever heard! I loved it hopefully they do one for New Moon!

    I had all of these on my 3 disc version from Target. The Vampire kiss Montage was awesome.

    Larissa and Shelby they are on the Target 3 Disc DVD.
    I highly recommend the Target DVD. I have the Target and Broders DVD. Like Target better.

    If you’re Canadian, you can get the 3rd disc at HMV.

    i bought the borders exclusive version, which was only 2 discs, and it doesn’t have those 4 extra ones from the third disk. it’s got some other exclusive stuff that was not as exciting as I would have hoped for.

    i also bought it on iTunes and it came with those other 4 special features, so I didn’t really miss anything.

    I bought the 2 disc version from Walmart the night it was released, and then found out Target had a 3 disc version for about $7.00 cheaper!! I ordered mine at Target.com and received it in less than a week, and the extras are soooooooo much better=]

    i only have the two-disc version, but i plan on soon getting the three disc…

    i LOVED the audio commentary. it was mesmerizing! i absolutley loved it! it was so funny!!! by far the best commentary ive ever heard!!!

    Yeah, the Target edition is the best, I think!

    Ah, I loved the deleted scene “She’s brought him to life!” Love Esme and Carlisle!!!!!! One of the two I wished they’d left in.

    I also love the Charlie & Bella extended scene at the diner about “People are talking about the Cullens again…”!

    OMG! That is so cool. It sucks coz most places in Australia are only giving out the 2disc special edition…I WANT THE THIRD DISC!!

    i have the special edition dvd and i have disk 1 and 2 but i dont have disk 3 so i would like to know that too of what dvd that one came on.

    Ugh!! So not fair that Australia still doesn’t have Twilight out! We have to wait til April 22nd! Can’t Wait!

    The Target version also includes a digital iTunes download. My favorite extra was from the third disk as well – Catherine Hardwicks video of the Bella’s Lullaby remix. I liked how she did the montage in the movie when Bella was dieing and I loved how she did the end credits with the Radiohead song 15 Steps. I think she should direct some music videos.

    If you search you can find the extra footage from disc 3 online. It’s out there.

    Target 3 Discs is BALLER!!!!! The audio commentary was the most freakin’ hilarious thing I’ve heard in a long time!!!!!

    i bought the ” special ” features dvd’s at borders, hot topic and target….the one from target is the best.. for only 19.99 you get the three disc’s and a free down load of everything from itunes.. i can now watch twilight at work hehehehe…the picture cards that came with the dvd from borders were cool however…

    What ever happened to the deleted scene promised by Catherine Hardwick at some interview (I saw online) where there was some exchange of ‘I love you’ between Bella and Edward. Something definitely missing from movie. She said it would be on the dvd! Has anyone seen this scene, or heard about this??

    OME I definately have to get the Target 3 disc edition. I have the Borders 2 disc special edition which I have watched a billion times but I’m thinking of definately buying the Target one. I can’t wait to see the extra features in the 3rd disc I hear they rock!

    Are they ever going to put anything up on BD Live? The Blu-ray didn’t have the third disc features included so I’m hoping it will be available that way. I haven’t checked in a while so let me know if something is available now.

    I am sorry to hear so many people got anything other than the TARGET DVD set. I actually did a lot of research before the DVDs were released and was surprised at the MAJOR differences between the sets. I ended up putting together a spreadsheet for all my Twi-Freak friends, and the end conclusion was get the TARGET 3 -Disc set for $26.99.

    Well, lo and behold, on the day they opened the doors, the price had been reduced to 17.99!!! What a steal.

    Watched all the special features before the weekend was up and loved Edward’s Piano concert, Becoming Edward (sigh – he is so wonderful) and the director’s commentary is a fun ride, too.

    GET THE TARGET DVD. GET IT NOW.

    if u don’t have the other features than u don’t have the Target dvd, which is

    17.99!!!!! thats really cheap! it’s way better then all the other dvds that are out there. so if u don’t have the target version then GET THAT ONE. if u have a different version then go and get another dvd, it doesn’t hurt to get another one (wat if u get the 1st one damage)

    anyway GET THE TARGET VERSION!!!!! its the best that is out there and the cheapest!

    I’m from the UK and i have got the 2 disc special edition and it has all of the features listed above. None of my friends have the same edition as me though they just have the commentary – which i love!

    I laughed so much watching the film with the commentary on. i just loved all the extras. i wish they had bloopers though! :D x x
