TwiTour Twilight Minneapolis Convention Updates

• We’re very much looking forward to the upcoming stop of Twi/Tour 2009: Salute to Twilight Convention coming to one of our favorite cities: MINNEAPOLIS on JULY 17-19, 2009. We have a jam-packed, non-stop weekend of Twilight themed entertainments including the appearance of SIX fabulous celebrity guests! There’s vendors, auctions, trivia and costume contests, wonderful musical performances, videos, autographs, photo ops, panel discussions and surprises! And the best part is that you can see all the guests and daytime events for as low as $20 to $25 a day! TwiTour Vancouver Update

• Canada’s very first TWILIGHT Fan Convention is coming to Vancouver, BC as Twi/Tour 2009 stops in this beautiful city on SEPTEMBER 18-20, 2009 and you’re invited to join the fun with tons of fellow TWILIGHT fans and some great celebrities from the feature film! Today, the gorgeous RACHELLE LEFEVRE (Victoria) joins our already cool line-up of stars that includes ASHLEY GREENE (Alice Cullen), JUSTIN CHO (Eric Yorkie), MICHAEL WELCH (Mike Newton), and EDI GATHEGI (Laurent), plus more to come! “Harry Potter” Vs. “Twilight” Fashion Battle

• I have been trying very hard not to do this, but I can’t help it—who, between the wizards in “Harry Potter” and the vampires in “Twilight” would win in a fight? With super powers galore on both sides, how could the blood suckers or the wand bearers ever possibly gain an advantage? Well, I decided this supernatural bonanza will never be satisfactorily determined since there are far too many variables and since all the characters are, um, fictional. Therefore, my only recourse is to make this battle a fashion battle. We will never know how a set of fangs would fare against a wand, but right here, right now, we are going to settle who wins the style smack down. To read more, click here.

Sheen Reveals Song Sparks Tearful Times

• Talbot-born star Michael Sheen has opened his heart and revealed a few trade secrets in a new book. The award-winning actor confessed in a book which asks celebrities which piece of music moves them the most that when he needed to cry on camera – he listened to Song to the Siren by the tragic American cult singer Tim Buckley. The book has been released in aid of The Prince’s Trust and is sponsored by Starbucks Coffee Company. In it, Sheen added that one of the main reasons the tune resonated with him was because it reminded him of the birth of his 10-year-old daughter Lily. “I remember listening to it shortly after she arrived and there’s a line in it which goes: ‘Swim to me, Let me enfold you,’ and it just makes me think of her being born and swimming to me, and me being away from her.” To read more, click here.
