Twilight in Forks, available to pre-order via Amazon.com, will be available online and in retail stores on October 15th.Filmed in HD by three-time Emmy Award-winning Director Jason Brown, Twilight in Forks – The Saga of the Real Town, documents the story of the rainiest city in the U.S. – Forks – and the untold tales of its hidden history, culture and mysticism. Since the Twilight movies were not filmed in Forks, this is the chance for fans to see where Stephenie Meyer based her epic teen romance novels.
Are there truly vampires and werewolves in and around Forks? Hear from the real people living their lives in the town Twilight fans know and love. Fans will meet the Chief of Police and hear as he recounts the meal he cooked for Stephenie Meyer, the Forks Outfitters’ employee who gets mistaken for Bella, the vampire transplant who plays the real-life role of Alice, hear self-described Jacob’s grandfather tell the legend of how the Quileutes descended from wolves, and many more of the people and places, including the Cullen House, Swan House and police station, that make Forks the perfect setting for the Twilight Series.

Are you going to get this DVD? Do you like the idea of a documentary on Forks?

On my list!
My friend and I just went and visited Forks and La Push a couple of weeks ago….it is amazing how this small town has completely embraced everything about the story! You cannot go anywhere without seeing some sort of Twilight memorabilia on display or for sale, even at the pharmacy and key cutting place, lol. They have a store there called Dazzled by Twilight that is decorated like you are shopping in a forest and it has everything to do with Twilight you can imagine for purchase. La Push was absolutely beautiful as well! Stephenie Meyer did a great job researching the town of Forks because after reading the books you totally feel like you have been there before. We had a great time (especially in our Twilight themed hotel room, lol) and I highly recommend any Twilight fan to go there for a day or two if you can:-)
I am so anxious to get out there myself! Especially since I will be there for Stephenie Meyer Day!! AKA Bella’s birthday.
I think the DVD sounds great!
We visited Forks and La Push in June and fell in love with the community there…I can’t wait to get this DVD to share with my other Twilight friends who haven’t had the opportunity to explore the sites of the books for themselves.
In June we traveled to Portland for my husband’s work. We went to Kalama, WA and St. Helens, OR to see where Twilight was filmed. It was awesome! But, these towns had basically nothing to show that Twilight was filmed there. They did not embrace it, and they are sitting on a gold mine if they would celebrate the movie. We were not the only visitors. We are from Wisconsin, and there were people there from California and Arizona just in the time we were there. We didn’t get as far north as Forks,WA, and now I wish we would have had the time to go with with our kids. It was so exciting to stand in the school parking lot and on the street outside Bella & Charlie’s house. I guess we’ll have to go to Seattle to get to Forks now!!!
