TWILIGHT ITALIA: NEW REPORT FROM MONTEPULCIANO

Twilight Italia has a great new update straight from Montepulciano! They’ve managed to get some great pictures and video from Montepulciano and they’ve put together all of the speculation to give us a good idea of what’s happening with the New Moon set in Italy. View the images and report below:

A friend of ours had the chance to record a video and take some pictures (of the fountain, the Mayor and road signs), written in Italian, whose title translates in “Reportage from Montepulciano: the fountain is being built, various pictures and misterious calls!”

Essentially, in this article we say that yesterday, the Mayor of Montepulciano was in the town square (where the fountain is being built) in person and it seems like they were working on security.

The most interesting (and strange) fact is that our friend found a lot of road signs around town saying that some streets will be closed on friday, May 22nd, from 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.

Could this mean that the filming of some scenes has been preempted?

I’m loving the pictures! It looks so beautiful there and I know it will be the perfect setting for New Moon. I can’t wait to get more pictures and information!

What do you think of these new pictures and reports? How do you feel about the change from Volterra to Montepulciano now that we’ve been getting some good reports from the latter location?

    This is so exciting! I can’t wait until November.

    I’m a little bummed though. I went to Italy very recently and I just found out that I was only 2 hours away from Montepulciano!!! If I had known ….. :(

    Wow, I wish I could read Italian, the video clip brought tears to my eyes literally, and the music that went with it, omg, like I said before I never knew a construction site and barriers would make me so giddy and excited. I so want to be there.

    Now that song was what I pictured as Bellas lullaby! Check out the pictures and tell me the song in the background didnt break your heart. What a gorgeous, moving piece. Any one know what it’s called?

    I guess the roads that are being closed off are probablly for scenes where their driving to the airport after they’ve been set free. I dont know?

    Hey guys, I speak and read Italian (spent a few years there). I tried to find out who wrote the music but its not listed anywhere on the site. I can picture Edward playing that song for Bella. It’s a much better song than the one they have now. I’ll keep an eye out for the name of the song though.

    The song playing during the video is “River Flows in You” by Yiruma. I have it on my favorites playlist! It was actually a song that a lot of people knew of and wanted to be used as “Bella’s Lullaby.” It really does have the perfect feel to it!

    It’s great see it in english and on a site like yours! So many people can read the last news about New Moon here in Italy like we read yours!

    Tomorrow begin the scene with “comparse” and the square scene will be 27, 28 (I’ll be there because they choose me at the casting)! I can’t wait!

    I answer to your questions about the music. It’s Rivers flown in you of Yiruma. This songs choose by fan like Bella’s lullaby before the film exit with the official.
    I listened First love, the album where there is this songs, I can say you that it’s really beautiful like the others albums… if you can listen it!
    Now I’ll go to write the title on my video so people like you can know immediately!
