TWILIGHT MAKES THE LIST OF TOP 10 REMAINING MUST-SEE MOVIES OF 2008

Posted September 26th, 2008 By: Team Switzerland 1 Comment »

FILMSCHOOLREJECTS.COM has put Twilight on their list of “Top 10 Remaining Must See Movies of 2008!” The movie just barely made it on the list – they were put at #10 – but FSR had some really nice things to say about the movie:

Yeah, I know that it’s a teenie-bopper movie. It is all over the programming schedule of MTV and it looks like it could play on The CW, but Twilight is more than just another teen romance, it is becoming a pop culture phenomenon in the same way that Harry Potter did back in the early 2000s. Aside from that, I hear that the book is actually pretty good, no matter who you are. So prepare yourself for the brooding and the vampy sap-story, because you really shouldn’t miss Twilight when it hits theaters.

Although it’s nice that Twilight was put on the list, there are some movies that they put higher on the list that I don’t really agree with. Do you think they put Twilight at the right spot, or do you think it should be higher?

ok, i actually really liked this article… and although personally, of course, i would put Twilight #1 on the list (no competition there whatsoever, not even close), i think the #10 spot is actually pretty fitting for the general population- to be quite honest, im rather surprised (very pleasantly so, dont get me wrong) that it even made the #10 spot- i mean, there are a lot of big movies coming out this fall/winter, so id say making the list of the top ten is something to be VERY proud of- i think thats AWESOME, b/c that means its getting attention from ppl who havent read the book, which i think is really important 4 the success of the movie. Go Twilight! but the rest of list i really agreed w/as well- the only movie i disagreed w/was Quantum of Solace, b/c i HATE James Bond movies and i especially hated Casino Royale, so i have no desire whatsoever to see that movie, and i definitely dont think it should be #1 on the list- not even close- especially when compared to some of the other REALLY promising movies on the list. But other than that, i really agreed w/the list- at least, like i said, 4 the general public- my personal list, of course, would be a little different.
