   I had pre-ordered the Borders edition, but then cancelled it today. I plan on going to Target to buy the 3-disk edition. Now after seeing these comparisons, I kind of want both! haha

   This is great work - I wish I saw this all in one nice area. =) To correct you though - the Twilight Borders Edition is a 2 -disc set. I love the cover art because it’s all black and has the tree design like the books…Yes there are 2 and 3 disc sets, but if you notice…none of them have anything REALLY life altering like an alternate ending or something…they’re mainly just music videos and some interviews. (although the Target one looks pretty good)

   I just wanted to throw that out there for all you Twihards that are buying every version…don’t give the manufacturers what they want by buying up everything. They call it a “special edition” by adding one new picture and they feel like they have the right to hike up the price! No way! We’re much smarter consumers than that and clearly - we do our research. =)

   ya i ordered the target one like a week ago cause i knew the price would drop and im mad b/c it dropped it even more like what a day ago..oh well the only problem w/ the target one is that i was hoping for a little more extra but still overall good deal

    I went to Borders.com to check the status of my order and it said “if you ordered before Feb. 5th you will receive your DVD on the release date.” I will call them when they open later today and see if this is true and let anyone ordering from Borders know.

    i ordered the target 3 disc deal…. i was totally slacking on pre-ordering but i was so happy that i did when they came out with that…. i am so happy that i will have it to put on my ipod… i will be able to watch it anytime, anywhere!! i just hope it gets here asap!!

    nina- to cancel your Borders.com order, theres a customer care number on their website. Just call that and listen to the options. You can still cancel your order as long as they haven’t already shipped your DVD.

    I’m getting the Borders one and then Target Blue Ray and I’m just going to go to the Wal Mart party and maybe buy a couple of things since the prices are great on all Twilight merchandise !!!

    I’ll be getting the one at Target, but I really want the Borders one just because of the pictures. This is so hard. These people are making me crazy with all these different ones…hehe…but target has the best price and I can put it on my itouch. So I guess i’m going with Target.

    I also cancelled my amazon order and placed one with Target. When I purchased the one from Target it was for the $22 but then I was notified that the price dropped, and they gave me the newer price of $17.99. I just wanted to warn you that NOT ALL TARGET STORES WILL CARRY THE 3 DISC VERSION. I called my local one and they will not have it in the store, so I pre-ordered it on-line. So be sure to check with your local one before you assume it will be there on Saturday.

    I am sticking with the Borders one, although the Target one is tempting. It’s so crazy that they are forcing fans to go crazy picking which to get and some really obsessed ones might by multiple copies because of it! I think Twilight merchandise and DVDs might bring the economy back to life at this rate!

    Hot Topic sounds good, I’d love to have one of those film cells but when you click on the shipping options, they don’t deliver on Saturdays. I’ve already pre-ordered from Target, they just sent me a refund notice too because the price dropped to $17.99. YAY! My family thinks I’m crazy, my birthday is early next month and my mother says, “Oh I’ll buy you that Vampire movie you like so much” and I said, “Mom, my birthday is next month, the dvd comes out on Saturday - I can’t wait that long”. She just rolled her eyes and shook her head. Even my 5 yr old knows, every time we see anything with Twilight or Kristin or Rob, she says, “Mom, there’s your vampires”. That’s right BAY-BEE!!!! I’m so excited!!!!

    Thanks TA for the DVD comparison — totally helped me! But here’s the neat thing with the Amazon DVD purchase that most people are not realizing or mentioning — On release day, you get a free download of the movie to your TiVo (or to your computer or other DVR) right at midnight through their Amazon Video On Demand service, so you can watch it on your TV right when it is released! What I did was bought the 2-disc DVD through Amazon for just $17.99 (and in order to also get the free code for viewing at midnight on my TiVo), and then I also bought the special edition exclusive Blu-Ray DVD 2-disc set at Target.com for just $24.99, because it includes the bonus disc AND will ship that same day. Target is unlike other sites, which are showing a shipping delay for the Blu-Ray DVD set. And Target’s Blu-Ray DVD is the cheapest out there, and you can’t beat the free iTunes download too! Now I’ll have Twilight on my TiVo on release day (through Amazon), plus I’ll then have the free download (through Target) for my iPod too! These two options seem to be the cheapest ways to go, gives you both the Blu-ray/HDTV and standard DVD versions, and will give you the most for your money! Hope that helps!

    I’ll get the HMV one because I LOVE the 3rd DVD with so much bonus maternial, and I have a store next to my place, so I’ll get it on the 21st.

    I have also pre-ordered the Borders edition, but it will unfortunatly come late (April 4th). I don’t mind the wait since I’ll already have my copy

    But how come no one is getting the Costco Ultimate collectors?

    I had pre-ordered the Amazon version, but then I liked the Target version more, First because of the three discs, second, because I liked the cover more, so I preordered that.
    But also I preordered a Mexican version of the dvd because it has many things included. Yeah I’m crazy. Anyone interested on it, just in case.

    I pre-ordered the Borders one with the photocards plus the 3-disc Target version. According to the BEST BUY ad in Sunday’s paper, the 2-disc version is only $17.99-that’s the cheapest I’ve seen it advertised in a store-they might only be doing that on Sat. - don’t know-at the bottom of the ad, in very tiny print, it says promotional prices good on regular editions unless noted. But, the pic is definitely the Two-Disc Special Edition. And above says “Great value on this 2-disc edition”. Every tv in their ad this week had the Twilight actors on it-very cool! I’m getting one at BB so I can watch it this weekend. The best deal I guess would be the Target 3-disc set, if I hadn’t already ordered that one on-line, that’s where I’d go! The Target ad I have says $17.99 for this one-$24.99 for the Blue-Ray 2-disc only version.

    The target dvd sounds neat, and my store usually carries the special 3disc sets, but to be honest, I really couldn’t care less if it comes with a free itunes download for the movie. If you know what you’re doing, you can simply use put the dvd onto your computer without the itunes download (it’s realy not that hard, nor is it illegal). It’s a little too late to pre-order it from target.com, because the last time I checked, they were out of stock.

    Anyhoo, I’m more of a Borders girl and that’s where I go for all of my Twilight needs. I have a rewards card there, and seems I’m a frequent shopper, I get my coupons and Borders Bucks…plus, the Borders by me always has the best release parties for everything.

    Honestly the only thing I ever look for is the deleted scenes and extended scenes (along with how cheap or pricy the dvd is) I unfortunately won’t be buying it this Friday-Saturday because money has gotten rough on Randy and I and with Alice being so close to being here making sure she has what she needs is more important ya know *sighs*

    Evie & all members: I pre-ordered from Best Buy and it was $21.99 2-disc DVD and I was lucky, I had a $5 off rewards coupon. I will just have to wait and see if they (BB) are going to have a party or not!
    Now I just need a T-Shirt.

    Call me crazy. Between me and my daughter, I’ve pre-ordered Borders and pre-ordered Hot Topic (which we’ll pick up at the DVD release party). Then, we’ll get up early on Saturday morning and buy the Target and Costco Ultimate versions. (Ssssshhhh! Don’t tell my hubby though, he’ll have a cow!)

    they have really great Twilight Charms and bracelets that you can customize. You can put your favorite Twilight Character charms or favorite Twilight Places.
