TWILIGHT MUSIC MONTH: MIDNIGHT SUN (DAY SIX)

It is the sixth day of our Twilight Music Month, and the final day for our first featured band: Midnight Sun. So while we’re sad to bid farewell to Midnight Sun, we’re very happy to announce the winners of our TA Lyrics Contest, sponsored by Midnight Sun.

Without further ado, here is our first place winner, who won a signed CD and will see their lyrics on the next Midnight Sun album:

Verse 1: The words left his lips,
and she wished she didn’t hear.
He was leaving her,
and that was her worst fear.
She tried to beg,
and wanted him to stay.
Her heart fell to pieces,
when he went away.

Chorus: She chases after him,
He is going away, going away.
But still she keeps trying.
Just to see his face,
She keeps on trying,
but she can’t find her place.

Verse 2: She loses track of time,
and ends up on the ground.
The rain soaks her hair,
and she cannot be found.
Her world has fallen,
and she is in a daze.
What was true love,
seemed like just a phase.
