Taylor Lautner’s Success Doesn’t Surprise Robert Rodriguez

• Back in 2005, an up-and-coming Taylor Lautner, then 13-years-old, auditioned to play a young superhero named Sharkboy and instantly won the heart of director Robert Rodriguez. Of course, Lautner got the role in “The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D” and would eventually win the hearts of teen girls everywhere as werewolf Jacob Black in the “Twilight” franchise. • Kellan Lutz and Edi Gathegi were recently in Sydney to promote the Australian release of the Twilight DVD, and while there they took some time to dance a little bit with the Aussie fans and learn a new dance move by the name of “The Nutbush”. To watch the video, click here.

Novel Novice Twilight celebrates its 1st Anniversary!

• In May 2008, Site founder & lit teacher Tiffany Truitt started Novel Novice Twilight as a blog, to keep track of her 8th grade students’ work on the Twilight novel. She found that Twilight was the perfect way to get students labeled as “difficult to teach” to get excited about reading. And from the founding of her little site, it has quickly blossomed into something so much bigger! So to celebrate their first anniversary, and to say “thank you” to all of you who’ve supported us over the last year, they have an entire month’s worth of celebrations planned! They’ll be bringing you new goodies throughout the week (so be sure to check back regularly!), such as contests, fan features, new videos, new graphics & more!
