The company that is releasing the Twilight DVD in England (yep, the same ones who took Rob-bites out of the DVD case!) is hiring models to wear golden contacts with the words Twilight DVD on them. Kim Kardashian made her big screen debut in 2008′s Disaster Movie, but now the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is looking for a role with a little more bite. “I would like die to be in Twilight,” Kardashian gushes to PopEater, “being around all those hot guys. Robert Pattinson Explains His Haircut

Shortly after the hit vampire movie Twilight hit the theaters, Robert Pattinson, who plays the part of Edward Cullen in the saga, cut off his trademark locks – much to the dismay of his adoring fans. Pattinson, 22, recently explained why he decided to drop the messy hairdo in favor of a much shorter haircut. He told Tiger Beat magazine, “People ambush me and want to touch my hair.” He recalled a moment went it became clear he had to lose his unkempt hairdo. Read more here.

These odds and ends are awesome!
Aren’t there other celebrities who smoke in photos for photoshoots? Besides, there are worse things out there than smoking. They should first concentrate on commercialism of sex and drugs(illegal ones), especially towards teens.
They always have to criticize someone who’s in the spotlight. :/

Lots of interesting odds and ends today.

Personally, I don’t care that Rob and most of the rest of the cast smokes. That’s their decisions. As long as they aren’t blowing smoke in my face, they can do whatever they want.

But, I do agree with the criticism of Rob posing for pictures in photo shoots with cigarettes. There seems to be a lot of it going on lately. Whether he likes it or not, there are a lot of kids out there who look up to him and admire him. Since a large portion of his fan base are kids, I just think its irresponsible and unnecessary to be posing for pictures with cigarettes and making it look so sexy.

Let’s face it. Kids will buy things or do things that the celebrities they like do. We’ve all done it before (whether it be trying to dress like them, or getting a haircut like them, or buying a product they use or promote). I have no doubt in my mind that there will be kids who see these pictures and think, “Rob looks so cool and sexy when he smokes. I bet I will too.” He’s still young, and he doesn’t realize the influence he has on his fans.

So, he can smoke all he wants, but I do really wish that he’d stop posing for pictures in photo shoots with a cigarette.

What some people need to remember is that Rob and some of the other cast members are in their early-mid twenties, and that their lives aren’t always going to revolve around the Twilight Franchise.

While some people might not agree that it’s a good image for any of them to be smoking due to the ‘young fan base’, it’s ridiculous to flat out say they shouldn’t do it.

As one of the older fans, it does not bother me whatsoever that any of them are smoking, who they’re dating, or that they’re out partying, or smoking out of a bong. (Kristen Stewart!)

That’s what people do. No, it probably isn’t a good example for the younger fans, but these actors aren’t going to be Cullens and Bellas forever. People need to remember that. I would love to see what happens to some of those fans if they have the chance to see Little Ashes. Google Salvador Dali, and read about him- he is far from being anything like Edward Cullen, or PG-13 friendly for that matter.

If I were Rob, or any of the other cast for that matter, I wouldn’t want to only be known for Twilight. That’s how actors get type-casted into future (and usually horrible) roles, and are unable to further explore their talent and acting abilities. If people want to see Rob stick around for a long time, they need to leave him alone, and let him be Rob!

I just have one thing to say. I hate Demi Lovato. ugh. And she would be lucky to date Taylor Lautner, although I’m glad she’s not. Like, really really glad.!

Oh, and Rob really did have funny hair in Little Ashes. And that moustache was priceless. rofl.

I feel bad for Rob everybody is so obsessive. He cut off his own hair just because people were asking to touch it. I agree with Allie they will probably be known for Twilight or (Insert character’s name here). Also on a message board for how to be they are starting to call Robert Edward.
