TWILIGHT ODDS AND ENDS MONDAY 12/22/08
We have rounded up a few odds and ends for you today.
-
Rob on House Arrest
- He hasn’t really noticed the change that has occured since Twilight hit cinemas. Robert told Movies.ie: “I don’t go out of my house much… I don’t notice many things. “It’s weird, like, paparazzi stuff is weird. “I mean it’s a really strange thing to get your head around but erm it’s so new still that I haven’t been jaded by it yet.” Even when Robert gets followed by photographers on motorbikes he doesn’t seem to mind. The Edward Cullen actor added: “I’m kind of prone to paranoia anyway!” Source
- If you hit bookstores anytime in 2008 or just turned on your TV or simply talked to another human being, you’ve probably heard about a little phenomenon called “Twilight.” Though plenty of readers picked the original novel as their top for the year, it was actually first published in 2005. But that shouldn’t suck the life out of our reader’s Top 10 Books of 2008: Stephenie Meyer is still #1.
1. Breaking Dawn — Stephenie Meyer Though the final book in the “Twilight” saga received mostly negative reviews, fans still couldn’t enough of Bella and Edward’s growingly twisted love story. Source

why is bellas name ‘beth’ and jaspers name ‘joseph’ in that article?
LOL, who wrote that My Park article?? Atleast they got Jacob’s name consistently right. *rolls eyes*
In the story about Rob being selfless in New Moon they give the cliff notes version of New Moon…and they call Jasper Joseph. These media people crack me up sometimes!
ome, for the “Robert Pattinson is Self-less in New Moon” i was laughing so hard, because whoever wrote the article clearly never read the book! They couldn’t decide whether to call Edward, “Edward” or “Robert”, either that or they couldn’t make the distinction between the actor and the charcter. They called Jasper “Joseph”, and at the beginning thought Bella was named “Beth”, but then they corrected that. And first they spelled “volturi” right but then said “Voltuni”. I’m sorry but does this guy ahve multiple personalities? Sheesh people, just read the book, its a fast read, and THEN write about them, just save yourself the embarrasment. Please.
i need to know if taylor is staying as jacob
Joseph!!!! LOL!!! Maybe with Cmas coming up, the writer was thinking of Mary and Joseph.
BETH Swan? Joseph? Voltuni? and Rob is apparently Edward now? “The Voltuni tell Robert that Bella must be killed or changed into a vampire now she knows their secrets.” Silly little non-twilighters in the UK! lol
Whoever wrote that MY PARK article about ‘Beth’ and ‘Joseph’ and ‘Robert’s’ run-in with the ‘Voltuni’ should be F-I-R-E-D — that spells fired, just in case the person who wrote that article is confused…
That “My Park” article is one of the worst Cliff’s notes I’ve ever read!!! Not only do they get character names wrong, and confuse the characters with the actors, but they use such broad strokes over the BIGGEST things, that one is left with the feeling of whiplash!!! I have read some articles written by people who clearly could not care less about Twilight or us overly-obsessed “teenage” fangirls, but at least they get the names right!!! (Most of the time…poor Carlisle, getting called Carlyle…) This is just shoddy journalism, plain and simple…
WOW already getting the charecters names wrong. what’s up with that?!
What the **** man u people don’t know anything (uk) maybe u should let us twilghters get the story straight for u i mean come on? Joseph!!!! What the hell???????
lolololol what the heck… Joesph… Beth…. haha people are so disconneted sometimes. maybe they were drunk when they wrote it???!!!!
