  • Because of the success of Twilight, producers are thinking to make the second part of the movie. The gossip is that for Twilight 2, Vanessa Hudgens from High School Musical will play one of the vampires. Source

    • Twilight’s Robert Pattinson: ‘Eminem Is My Hero’

  • Robert Pattinson, star of teen vampire movie Twilight, has revealed that US rapper Emimen was one of his heroes as a youngster. The 22-year-old actor told the BBC he admired Eminem because he was “really into rap”. He also spoke fondly of Jay Kay from Jamiroquai. Read more here

    • Twilight Valentine’s Party and Ball at the Library Round Rock Texas

  • The Round Rock Public Library will host a Twilight Valentine’s Party for Stephenie Meyer fans ages 12 and up from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13. Dressing up for this ‘ball’ themed event is optional, but is encouraged, and imaginations can run wild with vampire-themed costumes if desired. We will have trivia and other games with Twilight-themed prizes. Also, guests will have the opportunity to drive like a Cullen! More info here

  • The 22 year old London born actor admitted that he didn’t know what to expect at first. He told Bop magazine, “Initially they wanted
    to me to wear really long vampire hair, down to my waist. I wasn’t allowing that to happen.” Contact lenses and baseball were two other things that Robert struggled with. As Edward, Robert had to wear special contact lenses. He said, “I can’t wear contacts. It took me 20 minutes to get them in every morning.” Read more here

  • TWILIGHT star CAM GIGANDET is to wed his pregnant girlfriend, according to the actor’s father.
    Jay Gigandet tells America’s In Touch Weekly magazine that his son and Dominique Geisendorff will marry after their baby is born this year (09).

    Umm… that Gossip! site says Rob and Kristen are going to direct New Moon so I think it’s safe to say it’s all rubish.

    You know what would be cool? If Nikki Reed and Robert started dating. Rob and Kristen look good together, yes, but I’d be happy to see him with Nikki. :)

    I agree, he’s far from boring. He sounds like someone I would hang out with. I really hope he finds luck with the ladies soon. He seems so lonely sometimes and I think he deserves a good girl who will stimulate his brain. Hopefully he doesn’t just settle for some Hollywood bimbo. I think he could do better than Nikki though. Don’t shoot me for saying this, but she seems like she’s up to no good a lot of times. I would love to converse with Rob. His sense of humor is right up my alley and his interests are intriguing. I agree with Saphi though, he needs to get up the guts to ask the girls out. That’s what gentlemen should do.

    And, the Vanessa stuff has to be a rumor.

    Ugh the Vanessa Hudgens thing better be fake. One of the things I loved about twilight was that the actors weren’t really mainstream, and they all seem like people with pretty good heads on their shoulders. Throwing Vanessa Hudgens in there would just ruin it for me completely. If she has to be in it then let’s hope she’s in Eclipse and is a newborn that is ripped to shreds and burned. :)

    And as far as Rob is concerned, he seems like a pretty cool guy. He’s always putting himself down, like it’s either he’s just lucky or he’s boring.. he needs to give himself a break, he’s such a talented person he should give himself some credit.

    I will be VERY upset if Vanessa Hudgens, Audrina Patridge, or any tween/reality star actor is cast in any Twilight movie. If such a ridiculous decision comes to fruition, it can only be because Summit is thinking about $$$$$$$ and not the book, the fans, or artistic integrity.

    I don’t think he sees himself clearly. My son was famous for awhile, and he didn’t see himself as others saw him, either. It has alot to do with their self-critic. I think Rob is a talented perfectionist, and has yet to prove to himself that he is just as good as other actors. All serious artists challenge themselves repeatedly, and hate to be type-cast. He is a fledgeling, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have great potential. He is innocent, and Hollywood can be cruel. Actors wear their hearts on their sleeves, and he has to not be so open and share everything. It’s refreshing to see, but he leaves himself open. Also, alot of Americans do not understand his sharp, dry, British wit, and take him seriously when he is being funny. You cannot take a word an Englishman says seriously! I hope fame and Hollywood don’t destroy him. AND I think he is in love with Kristen!

    I was just telling someone that it would really ruin Rob’s appeal for me if he started dating Paris Hlton or someone from The Hills! Or anyone of that caliber. Of course he’s free to date whomever he wants, but I see him as so smart and “above” those types and I really respect that about him. I’d love to see him with someone equally smart, sweet, and quirky – who refreshingly doesn’t conform to the superficial Hollywood garbage.

    If Vanessa is cast, I’d just be too disgusted to go see the movie. Same with Audrina. It would also really show how out of touch Chris Weitz was.

    I don’t think Rob sees himself clearly. He is definitely not boring…all his iterviews are very interesting. It would be very interesting to have an evening out with Rob. I think he has feelings for Kristen. They seem to ignite the screen on fire both on and off screen. One interesting quality Rob has is that he is so witty. He is smart and a articulate speaker. I think he is learning how not to share everything to the public. Rob really has a brilliant career ahead of him. He is so talented and far from boring. I truly hope that Hollywood and fame doesn’t change this unique person. Also, I love his British accent!

    Oh, and kudos to Rob for sticking to his guns about the hair. Can you even imagine Edward with hair to his waist? EWWWWW!!! I’m glad he stuck up for himself. Also, I do think he has feelings for Kristen. I honestly do not get what she sees in her man. He seems like he’s up to no good as well and Rob’s just so much more intelligent, funny, hot, humble, etc. :) Oh, and I get so mad at people taking him seriously for everything. Like, the washing his hair thing. Obviously he’s being sarcastic about that. Why don’t people see that?

    That Vanessa girl could be a vampire…there are the Danali vampires that have some upcoming cameos or also one of the Voltori Coven also with upcoming parts to play.

    She can play one of “THOSE VAMPIRES” and I wouldn’t have a problem with it…she just had better not be being considered for one of the CULLEN COVEN…that would be a Huge mistake!!! I like the actors that are currently playing Edward, Emmett, Alice, Rosalie and Jasper and of course mom and dad Cullen Esme and Carlisle.

    I’m getting sooooooo tired of all this stuff about Rob… WHO CARES?!?!?!?!? I’m not into him. At all. I don’t think he’s hott, and I think the fact that everyone is going so crazy over him is ridiculous.
    Yes, he did a GREAT job as Edward. He’s a talented actor. Period. LEAVE THE MAN ALONE, PEOPLE.

    And I really really REALLY hope that he and Kristen don’t get together… I don’t think it will happen, but still. I just think that Kristen deserves better. He’s not her type.

    As for Vanessa…. she wouldn’t be good as Leah. NO WAY. But I read what Brandi said, and she could play one of the tourists in Volterra. Or… I think she could pull of being Heidi. It’s only a couple of lines, and we would never see her again in any of the other movies.
