So many odds and ends today including Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Edi Gathegi, Robert Pattinson, Catherine Hardwicke, Twilight Valentine’s Ring Con, Twilight cruise and more:

 

    Twilight Actors (Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz and Edi Gathegi) are coming to a big German Convention.

  • Ring*Con ist the biggest European Fantasy Convention and will take place in Germany from 2nd to 4th October 2009. More information here and here

  • Novel Novice Twilight presents original Twilight-themed Valentines that you can save & print at home! View them all here

    • Pattinson Misses The Smell of London

  • But Pattinson admits pining for his home in the British capital when he’s away. He says, “I miss being able to go for a walk. “I miss the smell of London…I almost cried because I missed it so much. And I miss my dog [Patty, a female West Highland white terrier]. “I haven’t moved [to L.A.] for good. I live in a rented apartment where all of the furniture is rented.” Source

  • Join them for a spectacular Twilight Cruise to Alaska with a pre-cruise visit to Forks in August of this year. Their mini-convention will be totally Twilight and totally fun.   • Directors Catherine Hardwicke, Courtney Hunt and Jonathan Levine will be among the panelists at Film Independent’s ninth annual Directors Close-Up: Conversations On The Art Of Filmmaking series, set to run at The Landmark – West Los Angeles from February 4- March 11. More here

    I disagree, Jodelle is more cryptic and more suitable i think she should have been Jane since rumors for the part started her part in silent hill was great

    My daughter would be THE BEST JANE. However, I dreamt Dakota was last night and then saw the news she was pining for a part and am pretty sure she will be Jane.

    Looking at her- she looks eerily like my daughter- she would be a fantastic Jane…

    Poor Rob. He’s been in London for a few months now. It’s always nice to go home. I know how I feel when I drive through the town I grew up in, nostalgic and everthing feels strong, smell especially.

    She was creepy in Silent Hill; she’s perfect for the role of Jane :) I’m not sure this is the kind of part Dakota Fanning would play.

    I agree that signing a petition to get someone a job in hollywood is just plain silly! Thats what the pay big bucks for their managers to do!

    While I do agree that Jodelle Ferland would be a good candidate for the role of “Jane,” Dakota Fanning has already pretty much already agreed to the role. So, the petition, I think, would not do any good. Also, Dakota Fanning will not be that hard to match up to an “Alec.” Jodelle Ferland on the other hand is very unique and I don’t know anyone who even slightly looks like her. Just a personal opinion.

    I had no idea who Jodelle ferland was until I googled her, and i actually thought that her whole look was what i imagined Jane to look like. But I don’t really have any problems with Dakota Fanning and as said above, she basically already agreed to it.
    Although, (and I cant be sure as I’d never heard of her) perhaps having Jodelle would be good because if Dakota is a bigger actress (figuretively speaking) then she would probably expect more money; therefore taking a larger cut from the budget than what Jodelle would. so yeah. plus I liked the fact that twilight had a sort of indie feel to it. if we have supporting actors overshadowing the lead roles then that could take away that aspect. …well that’s my opinion anyways.xx

    That is exactly why I liked the film and it made it easier to believe the actors (not to mention great acting/directing to begin with). Too high profile actors can take away from the storyline….overshadowing the leads. I’m for whatever keeps the integrity (call me pollyanna if you will) of the storyline.

    While I’m at it got to give a shout out to the musical score and soundtrack, very cool. The transition from Phoenix to Forks using the Black Ghosts song was genious! Wonder what the story is on selecting the music…how it was all pulled together.

    Jodelle Ferland is perfect for Jane ugh but they’ve like already signed Dakota Fanning and honestly dakota is a good actress but she’s not a Jane but seeing Jodelle in Silent Hill she’s a good actress
