We often get emails about Twilight related things but the information is too short for one post. We’ve decided to combine them and occasionally bring you Twilight odds and ends. This way you too get to hear it straight from other fans:

AHayden says – The Twilight trailer aired during the Today Show on Monday, 10/27. Thank God for DVR – I had to watch 3 or 4 times even though I’ve already seen it 100 times!!!

I have this image of AHayden sitting bleary eyed in front of her TV, playing the trailer over and over again just to get her “fix”. Apparently the TV spot trailers are being seen on just about every channel. Have you seen it on your local station yet?

Lauren J tells us – I was just watching Gilmore Girls on ABC family and I saw a third tv spot, at first i thought it was one we had already seen but it’s not, it features a new scene of Edward telling Bella something like “I’ll protect you” while at the dinner and a new scene from the ballet scene of James throwing Edward up to the window, there may be more new scenes in it but I can’t remember I missed the first few seconds of it.

Robert Pattinson was snapped taking a smoke break while recently promoting Twilight in Mexico.

He’s not a vampire in real life, though. R-Patz won’t live forever.

Especially if he continues to smoke!

Where have I been? I didn’t even know that Rob smoked. Icky! I’m not saying anything more about that!

Robert-Pattinson.net is reporting that Rob will be in New York for Elvis Duran and the Z Morning Zoo next Tuesday, November 4th for an interview.

    Oh geez…come on people relax!! i would be smoking too if i just went through that crazy crowd in Mexico!! my god i was hyperventilating just looking at the video…poor robert!! dont get me wrong…im NOT saying smoking isnt a bad habit…its just poeple handle stress in different ways…believe me i know im a smoker too…im NOT PROUD of it but it definitely calms me down…again im NOT saying smoking is a good thing!! its a terrible habit and i wouldnt encourage anyone to do it…its not cool at all!! but please dont bash someone for doing it…thats not cool either!! everyone has things in their lives that there proud of and not so proud of…no one is perfect…not even our Edward lol just remember hes a grown man, he can make his own decisions…sorry if this offends anyone…thats really not my intentions…im just getting sick and tired of people bashing robert! he seems like a very down to earth kind of guy who just goes with the flow…plus hes EXTREMELY TALENTED!! so for this guy to post this to make rob seem like hes this disgusting person for a habit that most people have is UNNECESSARY…

    I haven’t seen any of the tv spots yet! ARGH! I keep going to different channels and hoping to see them, but nothin’ yet. Hopefully soon!

    I knew Rob smoked, and even though I wish he didn’t, it’s his life so can’t really say much about it. As a caring fan, though, I hope he stops. I wouldn’t want him to get sick or nothin’. :(

    Yeah, smoking isn’t the greatest thing to do, but sometimes you need to take the edge off so you can relax. I know he drinks a little, this is the first time I’ve seen a pix of him smoking. Also, in his hectic life…have to take a few minutes to relax or you’ll go crazy. He is still Rob and I have a lot of respect for him. A little smoking & drinking doesn’t change my opinion of him. As a caring fam, I hope he keep it in check.

    ugh, election day?? NYC is going to be a crazy zoo all day… but just a glimpse would be nice. If he had to smoke after mexico, he’s going to need a whole pack after NYC. Just kidding, smoking is bad!

    YES! I know it sounds terrible, and believe me, I’m 100% opposed to Rob dying in any shape, way, or form… but I’m a smoker too, so.. I don’t feel as gross anymore, haha.

    it’s really not that big of a deal, seriously. Now if he was shooting up heroin i would have to say i would object. He’s going to die with or without smoking, we all are going to, neat huh? Might as well live live to the fullest while you can and do what ya want, in my opinion. And crap, if i were him right now, i would be smoking like 25 packs day o.O

    ok, yes, smoking can kill you, but, personally I think that the worst part about smokers is how bad they smell to non-smokers. Of course Smokers are not even aware of it, but just to give you a quick Twilight analogy it is probably as bad as vampires and werewolves smell to each other!
    Personally, I kind of like the idea of knowing that Rob is not perfect! But Edward is! :)

    Whenever I like a guy celebrity, I check to see if he smokes. And I have too much evidence that Robert Pattinson smokes. I honestly hate anyone that smokes, but sometimes when I like the person enough I get them to stop smoking, because they may think it helps them with stress but it just adds more on. I know because my dad used to smoke and he almost died from it. Usually when I meet people that smoke I just stop talking to them. But if I ever meet Robert Pattinson I’m gonna get him to stop. I hope you hear that Robert!!!!!!!!!!! I got half my family to stop in 2 months!!! Now I just have the other half + 1!!!!! I hope you hear that too Robert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m 12 years old and I have many people in my family that thank me for making them stop!!!! And I swear to go on getting people to stop!!!!!!!!!!!

    Robert, if you’re reading this, please listen. I know you’re probably addicted & want to get more publicity, but you’re not getting GOOD publicity. Plus, you will probably get emphysema & bronchitis & cancer. Also, you’ll age prematurely. Please, if you care about yourself stop now. You can use the patch, the gum or just sheer will power. Please stop smoking. Just because you can afford it, doesn’t mean you should do it.Quit while you can, before you’re too addicted, & please, just be safe. xoxo Abby

    Rob, if you are reading, I know there are a ton of worse things that someone can get into but smoking kills. I’ve experince that (I’ve lost family members at young ages due to smoking) please think about quitting. I know ( the last thing you need is another mom!) but I just want whats in your best interest. Besides, you have to stay young and adorable like you are now. You are my role model, I know everyone has faults and all and I just want you to be around for a long time because you are such a great actor and person in general. The last thing I want is for you to get cancer or something. Please consider my plea, Rob. Thank you! Can’t wait to see you in future movies and hopefully you’ll consider what I just said. Love you Rob!

    I am the biggest fan, but if he smokes I’ll be surprisingly sad…he shouldn’t smoke but…i still LOVE him!

    dear rob i am you biggest fan blah blah blah…
    personaly i think being someones biggest fan is scarily obsessive…
    people, get over it youll never be bella and he will never be edward so stop dreaming… im A fan but not his BIGGEST. personaly i think the smoking thing isnt going to change because its his choice not yours, so just stop criticizing and let him make his own choices. he is a grown man.
    just think, if he wasnt in twilight you all wouldnt realy know who he was and him smoking wouldnt be an issue, i think you should realise that he is a normal person like us with a job, with talents and of corse has his flaws.
    please dont take offence to this its just my point of view… :)
