TWILIGHT ODDS AND ENDS SUNDAY 4/12/09
We’ve got a short little set of odds and ends for you on this Easter Sunday, including a Twilight mention from Hey Monday’s lead singer Cassadee Pope, author Jodi Picoult credits Stephenie Meyer for getting kids to read, where to buy Bella’s coveted bag from the movie, and more:
- In his own version of the dog grooming show “Groomer Has It”, Michael Buck from the What the Buck show does a makeover on his dog, a la Edward Cullen. He uses a Twilight DVD as his inspiration and wants to know what you think. To watch the video, click here.
- A picture is worth 1000 words, but after I’m done with it, you’ll be lucky if you can pawn it for 200 words. Each week I will spend about 30 seconds of my precious time analyzing 2 images. To read Burgan’s analyzation of a picture from Robert Pattinson’s Dossier shoot, click here.
- In a new interview with Buzznet, Hey Monday singer Cassadee Pope talks about her love of the Twilight saga, which book is her favorite, and her similarities to Bella. To watch the video, click here.
- In a new interview, Jodi Picoult praises fellow author Stephenie Meyer for encouraging people to read. Picoult, who has a master’s in education from Harvard, is grateful to Meyer for getting kids to read at all, and she says many of her fans come to her through the “Twilight” series. Read more here.
- Like the bag Bella used in the Twilight movie? Well, you’re in luck. The original seller has created more and you they are available for purchase now. To view and/or purchase the bag, click here.
- The co-creators of the TwiCanCon petition, a petition they created a number of months ago for a Canadian Twilight Convention on Facebook, have launched their YouTube channel and have their very first video up. To watch it, click here.
