Canadian Twilight Convention
- Two young girls in Canada have started a campaign to get a Twilight Convention held there. The petition has been up on Facebook for just over two weeks, and they’ve already gotten an astonishing 1300 members (approximately) and it’s increasing very quickly.

- Corazon Films, the Mexican distributor for Summit Entertainment’s “Twilight,” is back on board for the vampire saga’s sequel. The Mexico City-based distributor — founded in 2007 by Eckhardt Von Damm, Elisa Salinas and Fernando Sarinana — has signed up to handle “New Moon,” which is expected to be released stateside in late 2009 or early 2010. “New Moon” is being directed by Chris Weitz, with Dakota Fanning reportedly in talks to play one of the teen vamps. - The actor, who shot to fame for playing vampire Edward Cullen in Twilight, says he likes being alone and has trouble dealing with crowds of people. “I’m a bit of a loner and not that good with dealing with loads of people. Most of the time, going out is a complete waste of time. I’d rather stay in and create something than go out,” Pattinson says. Source
- It’s a best-selling series, even more popular than Harry Potter. It’s a young-adult book about vampires, but all ages have read it. It’s romantic, with forbidden lovers, a kiss of death and a mystery for a human girl to solve. More here (thanks Kat)

I am not fan of Kelly Clarkson and there is no way in he!! she is going to be sly and put her song on the soundtrack. Her music is nothing compared to the Twilight soundtrack. Great title for her song but DO NOT put it on the New Moon soundtrack!

Im not opposed to KC. I think its great she’s a fan. I’m not like KC fan #1, but I don’t dislike her.
it doesn’t say that she wants her song to be on the New Moon soundtrack. All it says is that she’s promoting her single which means that it was just released to the public and that she’s promoting it on the radio and online.
yea it is just her blog, she is just talking about what’s going on with her and she just mentions that she loves twilight. Personally, I love kelly clarkson. Listen to her song haunted, she wrote it about suicide but it portrays new moon soooo well. it’s crazy.

Two things I have to say. I never was a huge Kelly Clarkson fan…she just didnt impress me. But now, I welcome her with open arms. Any girl who is smart enough to find Edward Cullen HOT, I can respect.
Second, Rob, I feel your pain. I too hate crowds, I freeze and they scare me. I never know what to say. And, I prefer to stay home and write, listen to music or watch movies. Where that loner badge proudly!
What not to like?! Kelly Clarkson has ACTUAL talent with her amazing voice. I’m no groupie, but I think she’s quality. That she likes Edward just gives me something else to like about her.
When I first heard Rob interviewed I thought he was… not very intelligent (to be nice). I vowed not to listen to another interview, least he taint the “fantasy.” But I did end up seeing another session, and I realized he was more of an introvert and just uncomfortable… And who wouldn’t be with all the STUPID questions he gets asked and all the little girls screaming at HIM, while it’s the character he plays that they really love.
While I think he’s totally DENSE when it comes to WHY girls like Edward (may-be if he knew, he’d have better luck with the opposite sex…) his portrayal of the character was outstanding. He’s very talented.

I want to apologize for my statement (last night). I know she didn’t say that she was going to put her song (any of them) on the NM soundtrack. Yes, she is talented with her singing. I should have added that I am not a fan of Kelly at all and never was. Again, I apologize for “rubbing” anyone in the wrong way about KC. Good luck to her & her band.
For Rob, interviews suck! They put you on the spot and they expect you to know the answer right off the top of your head! High five from one introverted Taurus to another! His video of HVD to his Westie Patty says a whole lot! That double glance with a smirk on his face!
I love what Rob had to say about being a loner, crowds and how often going out is a complete waste of time, because I am like that too, so I totally relate. When most of the world seems to be the opposite of that, it is refreshing to find someone who feels as I do. So, if Rob wants to stay in with me, I’m sure we can find something creative to do together:)
