Here are your odds and ends for today:
- Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer: What is it about books that set up Phoenix as a place to leave and the Pacific Northwest as a hot spot? In the Valley resident’s mammoth-selling teen-vampire novel, heroine Bella packs up from Phoenix to live with her dad in Forks, Wash. Meyer’s book The Host also is set in Arizona, near Picacho Peak north of Tucson. Source
- I’ve never heard about this movie, although it sounds familiar, I think he might have talked about it in an interview once. The movie is to be released in April 2009. I looked it ub in IMDB and it’s classified as a short drama. For more information click here and here (thanks Anitamichichi)
- This clip below is a behind-the-scenes thing that I found on YouTube. It shows the filming of a part from the meadow scene that was cut from the final version of Twilight. Specifically, it shows a part where Edward says “I couldn’t live with myself if I ever hurt you. You don’t know how it’s tortured me.” And Bella responds, “I’d die before I’d ever stay away from you.”
I’m disappointed that they cut these line because I think it helps explain their relationship even more. Plus, I thought the meadow scene was too short as it is =). Anyway, I just wanted to send you the link in case you wanted to post it and start a discussion on whether people think these lines should have been cut. - It seems like Daniel Craig’s days as Bond be coming to an end as hot Twilight actor Robert Pattinson seems to be stealing his fans. Robert has been voted the Most Attractive Man of last year by Hello magazine, thrashing Daniel Craig, Hugh Jackman and Brad Pitt. Source

In that Summer House clip, I got no sense of what was really going on. And could they possibly have cast more shadows on Robert Pattinson’s glorious face? You could barely see him!

Thanks for the meadow scene clip! I agree that it should have stayed in order to show the depth of their feelings at that point. However, in that particular clip, you can definitely hear Rob’s British accent. They could have done another take though to fix that…too bad they didn’t consult me.
I can’t imagine Rob as James Bond, but I can understand the voting results. Those other actors are much older and have a different fan base.
What’s up with these young fanatic fans. Come on girls, get a clue and get a life. Robert Pattinson was probably too much a gentleman to tell you that you are a freak who is in some serious need of mental help.
I know I’m being mean but someone needs to clue these youngsters into the fact that all they are doing is giving the rest of us normal fans a bad name. Robert is paranoid enough about everything without lunatics bleeding on him.
I agree with Aerialla, I mean really do these girls have no sense of reality, he PLAYS a vampire he isn’t really one and it is bad enough he is paranoid as so as it is without psychotic girls who haven’t learned reality from movies. He is a talented actor who deserves to be treated as one.

and has tried in all his interviews to get the message out
that indeed he is not a vampire(!!!)as if it needed to be
said. The very reason we like him is that he is very real!
