Contest Instructions:

• Below you’ll see a list of 10 different descriptions. Your goal is to find a picture that matches each of the ten descriptions (you will end up with 10 different pictures) and submit your entry.
• To submit your entry you may: a) Copy and paste the image address of each photo into a blank email, or b) Save each picture to your computer and add each file as an attachment. Once your entry is complete, e-mail it to Miscellaneous@TwilightersAnonymous.com
• Below are your 10 descriptions:

  Rules:

• Only those entries containing all ten descriptions with a correctly matching picture eligible for a prize. Any and all entries with all 10 pictures correct will then be compiled and 5 winners will be chosen at random.
• Deadline: All entries must be submitted by Friday, May 29th, 2009 by 12pm PST.
Other Notes:
• Each of these pictures can be found somewhere on the internet. A picture matching each description does exist, and some descriptions may have multiple pictures that match it. All you are required to do is find one picture that matches each of the ten descriptions.
• No manipulations will be accepted. This means you may not edit a picture using Photoshop, Picnik, etc. to make it fit a description.
• Notice some descriptions call for a picture to be found of either an actor or a character. Description #2 requires that you find Robert Pattinson biting someone’s neck – this means you must find a picture of Rob (not Rob in character as Edward) biting someone. Similarly, description #4 requires you find a picture of Jasper playing the guitar – this means you must find a picture of Jackson Rathbone dressed as Jasper, playing the guitar.

Swoon is an intricately woven story that chronicles the tale of a uniquely forbidden love. Nina Malkin takes you on a wild, fun, and provocative ride through the town of Swoon and the lives of Dice, Pen, Marsh, and Wick, whose monosyllabic names put a quirky twist on an already unpredictable story.

Dice, our witty narrator, finds herself removed from her home in New York and unwillingly thrown into life in Swoon, Connecticut. With her busy parents always away, Dice tends to spend all of her time with her cousin Pen, who conveniently lives nearby. On a fateful midsummer afternoon, Pen falls from a tree, and while physically unscathed, ends up sharing her body with Sinclair (Sin) Youngblood Powers, a charming man who was wrongfully sentenced to death in 1769 for the murder of his fiancé. After performing a ritual to exorcise Sin from Pen’s body and preserve the safety of her cousin, Dice finds that she has unintentionally given Sin a body of his own. In a wild turn of events, Dice is forced into protecting the unsuspecting townspeople from a ghost determined to seek revenge, while also coming to terms with the fact that she shares an unfaltering love for the exact being that is wreaking such havoc.

Swoon grabs hold of you from the first page and doesn’t let up even after you’re through. The originality of the storyline sucks you in and the unpredictability of the plot keeps you on the edge of your seat, never certain of where the story will take you next. Following the story through Dice’s eyes makes for a fun read, and Malkin’s beautiful imagery and witty humor never fails to deliver. Swoon is nothing less than engaging and should be added to the wish list of all YA fans/readers.

With names like Dice, Sin and Pen, how could I not be interested? This book had me from the moment I read the back cover.

Although Swoon is a 425 page book, it’s a quick read because you don’t want to put it down. Swoon draws you in from the first chapter as each character is brought to life through Nina Malkin’s vivid descriptions.

Candice, the main character, gets stuck living in Swoon Connecticut near her cousin Penelope. Shortly after moving and settling in, Sin “shows” up, bent on revenge for a past wrong. And then all hell breaks loose.

Sin is a ghost with a lot of hatred towards those who killed his pregnant fiancée. Although Candice knows she must do something to stop Sin, she realizes she’s in love with him. She’s torn between being with him and knowing she must act to save lives. As she struggles with how to handle the situation, Sin wreaks havoc on the townspeople.

I most enjoyed the jumping between the past and present. The intense and colorful descriptions of the past made me feel like I was there. The characters are rich with real life issues and idiosyncrasies.

Swoon is a story about the girl who doesn’t quite fit in. “Dice” is the new girl and she has trouble fitting in with all the cookie-cutter Barbies in her new town. She’s always had a gift for the paranormal, but the gift kicks into overdrive when her cousin “Pen” falls from a tree, and from then on shares her body with an old, bitter, yet incredibly sexy spirit by the name of Sinclair. Life gets a whole lot more complicated for Dice when inadvertently she gives “Sin” his own form.

Swoon is the type of story that sucks you in right from the beginning. You first feel a kinship with Dice, and from then on you’re hooked. Nina Malkin does an incredible job weaving the clichés of a small Connecticut town into the story. The descriptions are so vivid, you feel as though you can see the town and its residents. And Amongst those perfect Swoon residents, she makes you wish you had Dice for a best friend.

As you can tell, each one of us enjoyed Swoon and we know you will, too. So start finding pictures that match each description and good luck!
