TWILIGHT SOUNDTRACK – 3 BONUS SONGS

Ugh…I’m super excited but a little irritated! First it was super cheap to pre-order on amazon and I did that…but then borders came out with a bonus track for decode, so I canceled my pre-order with amazon…and now freaking itunes seems to have the best one because of the bonus RP song. So not fair! All i’m saying is they better sell the tracks as individuals too because I want clair de lune and let me sign!

im soooo excited that the soundtrack is gonna have 2 of rob’s songs!! also im glad they are adding clair de lune on the soundtrack too!! can’t wait!

I am so mad because i got mine at hottopic and got 5 dollars off my purchase and i really want the 3 extra songs. i have no idea what i am going to do now. i hope best buy or somebody else has the 3 extra songs on it.

wait i dont get it?? i got the sound track from hot topic… so does that mean when i go there to get it the three bonus songs wont be on the cd?? im so confused?? why would some of the cds have it while the others dont?? if thats the case im going to be pissed…i knew that rob had 2 songs in the movie but for some reason there was only 1 on the soundtrack…so then can someone please explaine to me whats going on…whats the deal here??

I’m mad because I already bought it. But I’ll buy it again for my I-pod. But still, I’m mad they shouldn’t do versions of it , they should make one and that’s it. They should put ALL of them on ALL of the soundtracks.

Caitlin Sarah, I’m not sure what to tell ya. I think that the one you pre-ordered from HT WON’T have the three extra songs. I’m not positive on that, but I’m pretty sure.

Then again, even on iTunes it says that the information may change w/o notice, so for all we know this could have been the soundtrack at one point, but then they edited it w/o inlcuding those three extra songs.

I’m not sure. I’m confusing myself now. Haha. I haven’t pre-ordered the soundtrack yet, but I’m thinkin’ buying of iTunes is my best bet, just in case it does actually have those three extra songs. They even have another “Twiligt Soundtrack” w/o the extra songs, so maybe they offer both? IDK. I kinda want that acoustic of “Decode,” though…

You can buy a recording of Clair de Lune off of iTunes right now. They have many to choose from. I work at Borders and I’m waiting to get ours because I want the accoustic version of Decode. I’m also getting it off iTunes if it really has Rob’s second song. Are the extra songs only available if you PRE-order, or can we get them on the release date? I want to know for sure I’m getting Rob’s second song before I buy this twice.

Ugh! I knew this would happen. I pre ordered through Amazon because everyone said it was the best offer. NOW, i-tunes, which Im always on, has bonus tracks….WHY!? Summit is getting creative, more money for their pockets. Anyways, I’ll get them when it comes out. Im psyched for Robs songs, I never really heard a decent recording of him yet.

well, this is a lil disappointing for those who already pre-ordered the original copies. I dont use itunes, I use Zune (b/c thats what my husband bought me, lol), but on Zune i’ve already downloaded Clare de Lune and a few other songs that were listed on the soundtrack. Im not a fan of the song they chose from The Black Ghosts, but they do have a great song I found called “I Want Nothing”. Im glad its helped me find new artists that i’m enjoying listening to. Either way, im sure it will all be available for downloading within a day of the release. I think some businesses are trying to ‘milk’ the fans for all they can, which is totally wrong!

this is true. They will not be changing the bonuses when it comes out on itunes. This was just confirmed on the Soundtrack Official website…. I’m so glad that I waited to pre-order it on itunes yesterday… beware it has been so popular on itunes (it was #2 in soundtracks when I downloaded it… YAY) that it sometimes times out so you might have to try several times to pre-order it.

well…I’m feeling irritated.

I live in Singapore, therefore, I can’t preorder from Itunes even if I wanted.

And there aren’t even any news about the soundtrack being released here yet.

I’m really angry too! The CD comes out here in Norway tomorrow (the 4th), and it’s the “normail” one. But the bonus track version (from iTunes) came out today! I reeeeaaaaly want the CD because of the poster (since we don’t have ANY Twilight merch in Norway), but I also want the bonus tracks, and for thse you have to by the whole CD…

The itunes soundtrack is now available (since 11pm on 11/3!). It’s great!!! I think I like the second RP song (bonus track) better than Never Think. My fave besides Decode, however, is the Bella’s Lullaby Remix I got by pre-ordering my movie tix! I could listen to it over and over. Also lurve the Iron & Wine song.

i got the twilight soundtrack with the three extra bonus songs yesterday

I’m a little mad because I already bought it. I bought the Twilight Soundtrack the day it came out at Barnes and Noble and I didn’t know about the bonus tracks. In fact, I was a little disappointed at first because I knew that there were 2 of Rob’s songs and the soundtrack I bought only had one. And the Clair de Lune song is a bonus song?!? It sucks that iTunes won’t release them unless you buy the entire album. They should’ve thought about their die-hards buying the soundtrack in stores the first day.

The only reason why I didn’t do it through iTunes is because I wanted the CD case.

Yeah, I’m a little ill at this, too. Nowhere else do the 3 bonuses seem to be available except for iTunes, and they will only sell it as a whole album, not individual songs. I pre-ordered my copy from Amazon, so I was extremely disappointed to here that I am missing out on my favorite RP song from the movie.

er…my soundtrack has 4 bonus songs, the 4th one is Bella’s lullaby with Edward & Bella’s conversation mixed into it.

Well, I have some good news and some bad news: The good news is that by this afternoon – tomorrow morning at the latest – you will be able to buy a LEGAL copy of the Claire de Lune track for $1. Leave me your email address with the word Claire in the subject line, and I will send you the link to it. The bad news is only for me: Someone at Atlantic Records decided to get creative and invent a fictitious entity that “performed” Claire de Lune, called “The APM Orchestra”. It does not exist. I performed the track and while I’m more than flattered to have my performance chosen over the hundreds the filmmakers had available to them, I am shocked at how they continue to treat artists in this business of music! The piano I performed it n cost me $105,000 because I had it specially made in the Yamaha factory to be able to play delicate pieces like Claire de Lune. It was recorded with my own mics that cost $6,000 each and are two of only twelve in the world (the others owned by symphony orchestras, record companies and Paul McCartney!), so this performance did not happen by accident, nor was it the product of a cheesy-sounding entity, such as “The APM Orchestra”. Finally, I was also shocked they would make the most requested of all the tracks from the movie, Claire de Lune, available only if you paid for the soundtrack again AND purchased it through iTunes. It did accomplish their goal of hitting the all-time record of iTune sales! The music supervisor is known for having golden ears, so I should bite these hands that are complaining about having my piece chosen, rather than complaining about how my fans are being treated – but I can;t help it. The best thing is not to get mad, though, but to get even and download the ONE track you seem to want: Claire de Lune. Send me your address and I’ll let you know when it’s up:
