TWILIGHT STARS DISH THEIR FAVORITE SCENES

Posted November 30th, 2008 By: Team Switzerland 36 Comments »

Since we all are very vocal about OUR favorite scenes in the movie, Blog Girl from the Daily Dish went on a mission to find out the favorite scenes of the cast, and found out a new little piece of information on the way..

Here’s what Blog Girl had to report:

Turns out a bunch of them loved the fight scene, including Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen), Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), and Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Cullen). “I love stunts!” Kellan says. “So I love the ballet scene where we jump over the balcony. We have that whole fight sequence where Jackson [Rathbone] and I just kill James, and it’s just so menacing and fun!” Ashley agrees! “It was kind of a twist on Alice’s character, and gives her a different element!” she explains. “It was nice that I was the one who got to attack James and finish him off.” Jackson adds, “I love the action sequences. It’s pretty sweet!”

Kristen Stewart, who stars as Bella, enjoyed the baseball scene. “That was the first time the whole cast was together in one scene, including the three bad vampires.” she spills. “It was fun because everybody was there. We were just sort of gritting our teeth through the cold. We were freezing!”

Kristen even told us a little known fact about the scene when she and Rob are up in the tree.

Apparently, one of the lines wasn’t in the script and was totally Rob’s idea! “We were in the tree and Edward is showing Bella the most beautiful view,” Kristen explains, “and I say ‘This kind of stuff doesn’t exist’ and he says, ‘It does in my world.’ That’s all Rob!” How cool is that!

SOURCE

I definitely have to agree with Kristen in this situation – the baseball scene definitely takes the cake. I also love the Rob came up with the line in the tree scene, because I think it worked well.

What was YOUR favorite scene in the movie? Are you surprised at the favorite scenes of any of the cast members? And what about the “it does in my world” line that Rob came up with – do you think it fit in the scene?

I agree with Kristen. I think that the baseball scene was the best!

I’m not really that surprised with the scenes that the others said. Those would have been a ton of fun.

And I like the “It does in my world” line.

  • Ana

The baseball scene was definitely my favorite! I didn’t think it would be, I think what took the cake for me in that scene, as I’ve said a bunch of times, was Supermassive Blackhole playing with it. I love it that and the kiss scene was awesome!

  • claire

that scene in the trees in one of the best in the film and has one of the best lines…so great that Rob came up with it.

  • ashley

I enjoyed the scene when Edward took Bella to school and walked with her in his sunglasses!

  • AllisCullen

I liked the line, and it’s great that an ad-lib made it into the movie, but it wasn’t the only one…

Apparently, the “spider-monkey” line was an ad-lib, too. I thought it was funny, but I thought to myself when Rob said it, that HE was the spider-monkey, even though he was calling Bella that!!!! Oh well, it was still cute…

  • Angel

I loved the end scene at the prom. With all those lights and them dancing, it was just beautiful. Very sweet, romantic moment.

  • Emilie

Hey i loved that line he made up, its way better than that cheesy “Hold on spider-monkey!” lol it’s way more something Edward would say.

  • Autumn

I LOVED THE KISS SCENE AND THE PROM SCENE EXCEPT FOR WHEN VICTORIA CAME INTO THE PICTURE!!
CANT WAIT FOR THE NEW MOON TO COME OUT!!

  • Bree

THE KISS! THE KISS! THE KISS!

  • Miranda

I loved the scene when they arrive at school together and Bella says everyones looking and Edward replies that guy isn’t, oh wait, he just did.

  • Jess

i agree with ashley. my fave scene was when he walked into school with bella and put his arm around her. i also liked the kiss and the baseball scenes.

  • Amanda Kay

the baseball scene was fantastic!!! but its a toss between that one and the kissing scene lol.

love how rob added that one line. great job.
oh… i also liked the line about the adrenaline rush and googling it! too funny!!!

  • Bella

I loved everything except for when Ewdard sparkles. The fight scene and baseball scenes were both my favorites – they were awesome. I think the spider-monkey line was also Robert’s? I heard that in an interveiw on MTV – maybe I misunderstood. That’s cool that he thought of that line in the trees though. One last thing: THE KISS WAS AWESOME!

  • Midori

My favorite scene is at the prom and how it ended, “I have waited for you for so long”. I also love the tree scene and “it does in my world”. It fits so perfectly.

  • http://thebitchspacehotmaillcom Black Cat

    My Favorite scenes as follows:

    1. The beginning when you get the first glimpse of the cullens walking outside and when they walk in in pairs… lol except for edward.[ which all the vamps looked luscious by the way]
    2. The baseball scene which was an amazing scene which Supermassive Black Hole made it that much more amazing!!¡! and wen the nomads [ james laurent and victoria] walk in on the magic carpet [which it shows a nice view of james's ass!¡!
    3. The Cullens kitchen when Edward brings Bella home for the 1st time.
    4. fight scene
    5. When Edward saves Bella from the van
6 Emmett Standing up in the jeep when they pull up into the school parking lot.
    7. dinner with Edward
    8. kissing scene
    9. When Edward saves Bella and spins the volvo around fast [ which it wasnt the volvo from the book arrghh!].
    10. Prom
    11.Victoria in the final scene
alot of the scenes were tied i couldnt decide. But the whole movie was my favorite so that caterorgizes them as all my faves!¡!!¡ amazing movie!¡ saw it twice… prbly gunna see it next week too.

  • Lilly

The baseball scene was just awesome! I totally agree with Ana, that Supermassive Black Hole was the perfect song for this. And when Ashley pitched, I thought it was hilarious how she kicked her leg straight up! Very graceful! I didn’t like the “you better hold on tight, spidermonkey”…But Alice and Jasper were my favorite characters in the movie..like how alice said “It’s okay Jasper, you won’t hurt her” So funny!

  • Leana

I totally agree with you Miranda!!! I love that scene!!!

  • Emily

I LOVE the baseball scene, the song was a perfect addition. I also love the scene Miranda spoke of, when he says that guy isn’t looking, oh wait, he just did. That made me laugh, it totally went along with the sense of humor they share. I also loved the scene where Dr. Cullen walks into the ER, the entire movie theater gasped around me, it was great. :)

  • kara

my favorite part was where jessica introduceces them all in the cafeteria! i love that part =D

  • Misha

I loved it when Bella was trying to explain to her dad that Edward wanted to meet him in the position of being Bella’s boyfriend… Charlie is cleaning his shotgun, if you remember. He does the “Okay, let’s meet him” move while cocking the gun back up into the ready position. The entire theater cracked up at that one…

  • Rachel

I’d have to say my favorite scenes are the Baseball scene and when Edward was sucking the venom out of Bella and it showed that little montage. The movie was AWESOME

  • isabella.v

    I liked the whole movie!!!
The best scenes I would say would be are
    1. The Meadow scene.
    2. When they go to school together.
    3. The kiss scene, I love how he stays with her at night.
    4. When they all meet in the kitchen at the cullens. “Is she even Italian?” “Well her name is bella!”.
(I get that all the time lmao, just because my name is bella doesn’t make me Italian).

  • twilightfan14

Fave scene-the baseball game-very cool. Where else can you see vampires playing baseball?
    The kiss!
Every scene with Bella at the Cullen house was fantastic, including the tree scene. Rob’s line was cool and fit into the scene nicely.
All of the Port Angeles scenes were great-the dinner especially. When Edward says “I don’t have the strength to stay away from you anymore”
and Bella says “Then don’t” I think I melted. Seen it 3 times now-still melted.
The end with Bella and Edward dancing-so sweet.
The fight scene was great too-everybody did an amazing job, especially Kristen.
The relationship coming-out scene at the school-very cute.
The forest scene where Bella tells Edward she knows what he is-very well played by both.
The entrance of all the Cullens in the school cafeteria.
And last but not least, Billy Burke did a great job in all his scenes but the gun scene was very funny-loved it.

  • The Lamb

I love when Edward saves Bella in the alley and pulls away with squealing tires! Also when Bella thought everyone was staring at them walking into school together and he says the one guy’s not then says “Nope, he just looked” I love the *crooked smile* on his face, it’s one of the few scenes you get to see him really lit up.

  • Hannah

My favorite scene is when Bella and Edward “go public” and Edward is wearing the sunglasses!

  • Alicia

I loved so many scenes from the movie, but i think my 4 favorite were: (not necessarily in this order)

-When they go “public” with their relationship- just how nonchalant Edward is, finally…
    - When Jessica first introduces all of the Cullens- especially the line about Jasper and Edward…
-The Baseball scene- i absolutely love Muse now…
-And when she thinks she knows what Edward is…not the scene IN the forest, but the one directly before it, in the parking lot. The look she gives him as she slowly walks toward him, and the look he gives her…i don’t know, it’s just so powerful, especially with the music…

  • Alicia

oh, and i forgot the scene where Edward says “i’m going to take you to my place…”

  • Tiffany

    I like Rob’s line. =)
My fave scenes are the baseball and kissing scene (of course)
The one when Bella and Edward are at the restaurant and Edward says what each person is thinking…the look on the guy’s face that was thinking “cat” was funny. I also like the part where Bella’s father cocks the gun and says he’s ready to meet Edward.

The whole movie was just great!

  • Diana

Woah!!I loved the whole movie!! But well my favorite scenes are definetly these ones: (not in order)
*Charlie and the gun.. you know when Edward introduces himself to Charlie before the baseball scene..
*The baseball scene.. It was AWESOME!! (love Kellan dancing with the ball…) haha
    *The Prom…! oh my godness!!
*The little but so exciting “flash” when Bella imagine Edward as a vampire drinking her blood..while she was searching about “the cold ones”
    *The ballet scene!! AMAZING!!
*Tyler kissing Bella on the cheek and Mike chaces him to kick him..!!
    hah (in the cafeteria)
*Edward: “what if I´m not the hero…What if I am…THE BAD GUY” !!!!

    and of curse THE KISS..!

Uff i dont remember anyother now, BUT I REALLY LOVED THE WHOLE MOVIE!

  • christina

Personally for my self, I loved the whole movie and everything in it. There are only two scenes which make me laugh the hardest and thats…
    * When Bella falls on her butt
    and
    * When Bella meets the family.
    My favorite line…

Alice had just hugged Bella and Carlisle shares information on Jasper.
” It’s nice to meet you”
Alice looks at him, knowing he is struggling a little. She places her hand inside his arm.
” Its ok Jasper, you won’t hurt her.”
Edward has the greatest look on his face. It’s priceless.

  • Danielle

I loved the whole movie!!!!!! It was awesome and I went to see it twice!!!!! My favorite scenes (not in order)were:

    1. The baseball scene. I never enjoyed baseball so much in my life!
    2. The ballet studio scene. I absolutely loved it!
    3. The scene where the go “public”. Rob looked so cute in his sunglasses!!!!!
    4. Edward sparkling (meadow)!!!!!! It was so cool the way they did it! I loved it!!!!!!
    5. The whole scene in the Cullen house. Loved it when Rosalie broke the salad bowl!
    6. The prom scene when Bella and Edward were dancing, then the camera zooms out to show Victoria watching them! I love the way they ended it!

  • maureen

i love the movie…all the scene is great…i love it

  • ~Me~ ;]

I absolutely LOVED (almost) everything about this movie!!!!!!!!!!

The baseball scene is my favorite ALL THE WAY. I agree with everyone who’s saying that one of the reasons it was so good was because of Supermassive Black Hole. =] So, as a result, I now love that song and listen to it ALL the time lol. I’ve already told all of my friends that, when I get the DVD, I am going to sit there and watch the baseball scene over and over and over and over and… well, you get the idea!!!! Lol.

Some of my other favorites… ;)

–When the Cullens first walk into the cafeteria. They all look AMAZING!!!!!
–Bella first goes to the Cullens house. (in the kitchen) Emmett is so funny!!!! “Her name is Bella!” and when she walks in HE WAVES THE KNIFE. I cracked up on that one!!!! Rosalie smashing the bowl is also great. Nikki did an amazing job throughout the entire movie, that’s for sure. And Alice… OMG Alice!!!!! I’ve always loved Alice from the books, but I fell in love with her again in the movie. Ashley was PERFECT. And i mean P-E-R-F-E-C-T, down to her very VOICE. “It’s ok, Jasper. You won’t hurt her.” Jasper was awesome, too. I thoroughly enjoyed all of his facial expressions throughout the entire movie. It was great. =] Carlisle was also perfect for the role. Also, Esme did a much better job than I expected. All of them were fantastic.
–The scene with Charlie and the gun. XD lol!!!!!
–Anything with the human boys. THEY WERE HILARIOUS!!!!!!! Eric: “Bella, it’s a worm! It’s a worm!!!” for example. LOL. And Mike “booty-dancing” outside the window of the restaurant!!! All of them were SO funny.
–The scene where the Nomads taunt Waylin (sp?) before feeding on him. That was SO awesome. I don’t know, I just got a major kick out of it. Once again, all of the scenes having to do with the Nomads were amazing.
–Just thought I’d mention that Taylor did A LOT better than I thought he would playing Jake… Oh and also Gil Burmingham (that’s his name, right??) played an AWESOME Billy. Once again, I have to give him credit for that… at first, I thought he would be horrible, but I was presently surprised. =] He and Charlie were priceless.
–When the show Victoria at the end of the prom scene. Did anyone notice that you can spot her 2 times inside before that?
–When the camera zooms in on all of the words and everything when Bella finds out the truth online… with the music and everything, I thought it was SUPER cool.
–The flashbacks when Jacob tells the legends. I got a major kick out of the Cullens’ clothes… and did anybody realize that it’s only Edward, Carlisle, Emmett, and Rosalie? That’s because they were changed first. Esme came later, and Alice and Jasper showed up later on too. (lol “Jasper shows up towing this little freak… etc.)

Ok, there are definitely more… I could go on and on!!! But I won’t….
As you can probably tell, I thought the movie was amazing. Period. ;] (I’ve seen it 3 times already haha!)

The thing that bothered me though was that EDWARD DIDN’T MENTION JASPER’S ABILITY TO CONTROL EMOTIONS!!!!!!!!!! DId anybody but me catch that?!? I couldn’t believe it… it wasn’t even mentioned once!

But I still love it anyway. =D

    lol.

I cannot WAIT for New Moon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ~Me~ ;]

  • Sonia

Just a little note to ~me~.

The first one who was changed by Carlisle was Edward. The second was Esme. When Rosalie got her turn, both Edward and Esme were already vampires, living in Atlanta with Carlisle. Finally, Emmett was the last one to be transformed by Carlisle because Rosalie asked him to do it for her.

I have read the 4 books so many times that I almost know every line by heart! lol ;-)

As for my favourite scenes from the movies, my #1 is definitively Edward and Bella’s first kiss!!! I also appreciated the scene in the restaurant, when he told her “I don’t have the strenght to stay away from you anymore!” and she answered “Then don’t.” (even though this part is not in the book). And, as a lot of you mentionned: the Cullen’s kitchen scene, the Edward and Bella go public scene, and many others!
Can’t wait for New Moon! I wish I could go to sleep and wake up in November… well, almost! ;-)

  • Harpo1717

The first time I saw the “spider-monkey” scene, I thought it was an adlib. I may be right for the wrong reason, but it was the way Kristen reacted and chuckled that tipped me off … anyway … great stuff!

I too loved the Baseball scene and the school scene with Rob and Kristen getting out of the Volvo … Rob in the sunglasses and Kristen’s smirk … Priceless !!

Of course I cant get enough of the lion and the lamb … the one area of the film that disappointed me was the meadow scene. There declaration of love in the meadow and the holding and touching was the most poignant moving part of the novel. I am amazed it was treated so lightly.

  • Sandra

I loved all the scenes with Edward and Bella, but I especially loved when Edward shows Bella his room. I love the embarrassed look he has, like a typical teenage boy, when she hears what’s playing in his stereo and he expects her to make a face that he’s listening to classical music. I love that she makes him feel better by telling him that “Claire de Lune is great.” I love how he, ever-so-slowly, approaches her to dance with him. It’s so surreal and just the kind of moment a girl wishes would happen at some point in her life with a gorgeous, sensitive guy like Edward.
