TWILIGHT STORY CONTEST – SALT LAKE CITY UTAH

KJZZ CHANNEL 14 is hosting a Twilight Story Contest. Information below:

a. Send in a written story using as the theme, “When you can live forever…What do you live for?” for your chance to be one of three Grand Prize Winners.

Prize to include: an appearance on Home Team – Friday Free For All to receive a Prom look makeover from Home Team’s From the Inside Out Makeover Team, Bella of the Ball Photo shoot, a Twilight Prom Exclusive Bracelet, and a set of tickets to Twilight Prom–A Red Carpet Premier presented by Megaplex Events Theatres (Approximate value $700)

b. Story Submission Guidelines:
• Use the title, “When you can live forever…What do you live for?” within the story
• Submissions are limited to 1000 words
• NO graphic language or sexual content
• Story can be fiction/non-fiction

c. Three (total of nine) lucky story writers can be featured the weeks of October 24, October 31, & November 7 on Home Team–Free for All Friday. Each featured story writer will receive a makeover from Home Team’s From the Inside Out Makeover Team and a Before/After “Bella of the Ball” Photo shoot and a small popcorn gift mug courtesy of the Megaplex Events Theatres. (Prize approximate value–$250)

d. Three Grand Prize winners will be selected by our viewers to receive a Prom look makeover from Home Team’s From the Inside Out Makeover Team; “Bella of the Ball” Photo shoot; a Twilight Prom Exclusive Bracelet; and a set of tickets to Twilight Prom–A Red Carpet Premier presented by Megaplex Events Theatres. (Prize approximate value– $700)

    does that mean that you have to write a story about yourself or just a story that you make up or either? and do you have to put “When you can live forever…What do you live for?” in the story like someone say it?

    When You Can Live Forever, What Do You Live For?
    I never knew what it was like to live until I met him. I was like a zombie. But then he came, and took my breath away. Then, slowly he brought me to life. I was in school. I ran into him in the hallway, and was so embarrased I avoided him the rest of the day. But the next day he came up to me before I could run away.
    He asked me why I walked away. I said that I didn’t want to be late at getting home. He asked me if I wanted to go out some time. I said yes, and I also ranted on with words he couldn’t understand. He seemed to know I was nervous and said,”see you tonight”. We went on our date, and as I lay in bed that night, I knew that I would live forever if he was there with me all the time.

    I met most some of the girls from slcta at the 2008 Festival of Tress. The tree turned out awesome. When I talked to you then it sounded like you girls had lots of fun twillight parties and other twillight things planned. Do you still party? And how do you merit an invitation?
