TWILIGHTERS ANONYMOUS CONTEST WINNERS RECAP
We’ve had quite a few contests recently and have neglected to announce winners in a separate blog. Here is a catch-up post and watch for winners’ announcements from now on.
Valentine’s Day Sweetheart contestWe asked you to choose your favorite Twilight couple and tell us why they’re perfect for each other.
Congratulations to Ariana for winning first prize, Chloe for winning second prize, and Caitlin for winning our third prize! The 3 winners won Twilight jewelry from Etsy’s Noriane Bijoux.
Now that the contest has ended, head over to Noriane Bijoux’s and purchase some Twilight related jewelry (don’t forget she’s offering a free Twilight phone charm if you spend $30 - very worth it. I already made my purchase. Shipping charges are very reasonable!)
We will soon be posting the winners’ images with the jewelry they won.
Valentine’s Day E-card contest
Fans were asked to create Valentine’s Day e-cards, for TA’s e-card feature, see all our cards here
Congratulations to Nancy and Briana, our two winners!!!! They each won a copy of Elite Magazine with Taylor Lautner on the cover.
Fans were asked to create a Twilight themed Wallpaper to win a MuteMath Spotlight single on vinyl or the Twilight soundtrack.
Congratulations to our winners: Katie, Rebecca, and Alisa.
Katie’s (first prize winner) testimonial:
How I found the site:
I was searching information about Twilight on IMDB and came across an article that led to TA and soon after, I joined the forum. I couldn’t help but to be instantly hooked on Twilighters Anonymous’ website and forum after I looked around the site!
How I found the contest:
The holiday e-card contest that I entered was mentioned to me by another member, lamb, who suggested that I enter the contest after posting some of my work in the fan art and graphics section of the forum. I decided to enter the wallpaper contest once I saw the announcement about that contest.
Was it fun?
Absolutely! I love the whole creative process behind designing something, whether it be an icon, an e-card, a wallpaper, etc. Choosing photos and blending them together, adding textures, brushes, and text, and then seeing an end result…it’s very exciting and fun!
Why I entered:
I love doing graphic designs for fun, and the prizes were a pretty good incentive to enter!
Reaction to winning:
I was shocked when I won the first time…and when I won the second contest, I was ecstatic! After I had entered the second contest, I kept nit-picking all of my entries. I had convinced myself that there was no way that I was going to win two graphics contests in a row. I’ve never won contests like this before, so it was very exciting to see that I had won not once, but twice.
Receiving prize:
It was like Christmas all over again!! The calendar and bookmarks and the Mutemath contest stuff came on the same day. I’m still waiting on the collector’s vinyl, since that takes longer to manufacture, but in addition to the vinyl, Mutemath sent me a t-shirt and a digital copy of the EP, which was very cool of them.
