FAN VIDEO SUNDAY: NEW MOON TRAILER

We’ve already featured a video from Youtube user Tiffany, but since she got featured in the Boxwish blog and we’ve got a few TA members sending her trailer to me, I decided to feature her once more.

This is what the Boxwish blog wrote:

Since the two-minute video was added last summer, it’s tallied up nearly four million views and is still going strong. The popularity for this trailer is unprecedented, with it becoming the 93rd most favourited clip on the site and the ninth top rated clip in the Film & Animation category. And there’s no questioning tiffanyd666’s devotion to the Stephenie Meyer novels as her profile page is chock-a-block with Twilight fan-mania. Her favourite music is Brit rock band Muse, a credited inspiration for Meyer with their anthem “Supermassive Black Hole” a fantastic backdrop to the Cullen baseball scene and her favourite books? Take a wild guess.

And this is what Tiffany wrote about the trailer:

To honour breaking the 3 million views milestone, and also (it is a bit early) to celebrate 1 year of being a very proud Twituber (Twi-vidder technically) this is a gift to the hard core fans of my New Moon Trailer; here is a HQ version, ‘remade’ with Sony Vegas Pro 8.0. Tweaked slightly with a little bit of different footage and some stylish font, (to seem a tad more realistic) I kept the trailer mostly the same, seeing as the majority of fans seem to have already, and whole heartedly accepted it. I did keep Steven Strait as Jacob because I really wanted to make a re-vamped (no pun intened) version of my original trailer, but I am currently working on a new ‘New Moon trailer’ with Taylor Lautner, which I will post sometime after the (Australian) DVD release of twilight.

I’d like to say one thing. Hello Summit, pay attention!! This video is making me extremely excited for New Moon. It looks absolutely amazing, with the Volturi bit. And I loved the howling at the end.

    oh my goodness!!! i seriously had chills througout this trailer..this was one heck of a trailer..it looks soo professional..i dont know about anyone else but boy am i freakin excited to see this movie now because of the trailer…i think some of the best parts of the trailer was the prick of the finger and the vampire’s red eyes…im really looking forward to seeing that scene…also the whole volturi scene was freakin awesome..Summit really needs to take a look at this trailer and get some ideas!!! Kudos Tiffany…chills i tell ya!!! lol

    Omg ! This is so amazing ! I love the volturi part too & the yellow porche. I really hope they don’t leave the porche out of the movie! But I really like this video : ) , it makes me happy & it will keep me entertained until some real previews start to come out . lol . Thanks :)

    Omg!! That was really well done!! That must have taken some time to find all that little clips and put them together!! I think that summit should pay more attention to some of the fan-made videos!! There awesome :D Cant wait to see more !!!

    OME! That was ttly wicked awesome! I agree Summit should pay attention! Taht was really well made and the “Edward don’t” or “Edward no” or whatever it says and the howeling were very good touches!

    Great freakin’ job Tiffany!! Every single time I come across it I get goosebumps…and I just went back and re-read New Moon. Again. For the fourth time. The buzz around this vid just tells me that Summit needs to make sure they bring their “A” game to the fans in November. Twilight was good, Catherine did a great job with a limited budget BUT we’ve generated A LOT of revenue for Summit and now we need to see them put some real money into New Moon. For now though, I’ll console myself with re-reading our beloved Stepanie’s books, buying every version of the DVD I can afford and try to contain my excitement for New Moon the movie. Hmmm…wonder if it’s too early to go online and buy tickets for the opening night of New Moon… lol…

    I’ve totally seen this one before (we actually have a thread for these on my forum). I love love love this one, but it’s not my fav. I liked how at the end it has “edward” in from of the clock town and Bella yelling for him =]

    FREAKIN AWESOME!!! See I have actually seen that one before..One day not to long ago I was looking at random Twilight Saga related videos on YOU TUBE and that happened to be one, and it was one of my FAV’S of course… Whoever made this did a damn good job if don’t say so myself!!!LoL

    WOW!!! Summit should hire you, Tiffany-this rocks! Can’t wait to see the new one with Taylor in it!
    OK, I will admit Stephen is great looking-but Taylor deserved to keep this part and I really think everyone will be pleasantly surprised and blown away by his performance in New Moon.

    I have watched that video about 15 times now and every single time I get shivers especially at the end when she yells “No Edward” and then the howling starts. That is a really amazing piece of work. Someone in the movie biz needs to hire that girl!!

    I watched this trailer a while ago and even watching it now still gives me goosebumps. This video is so well made. I love the part at the end when Bella says no Edward don’t and the wolf howls. I also love the music that’s used for the video. Very suspenseful.

    I just loved it, from the minute I spotted on YouTube! It gave me goosbumps: the music, the increasing tension, the perfect succession of footage! The quality of her work is just outstanding! I would not have guessed is was “fan-made” if not mentioned. Tiffany has a real talent!
    Summit should watch and learn! Can’t wait for the one she’ll release with Taylor Lautner in it!

    Thanks Tiffany for this. I had seen it a while back while on Youtube and it is definately one of the best out there. Like everyone else, it gave me the goosebumps. If only the real movie could be as good (and I have my doubts about it!) Keep them coming

    I love it! So creative, well done Tiffany! I love it all, but I especially loved the clock toll at the very end, it fit so perfectly. I can’t wait to see the video she makes for New Moon that includes Taylor, I’m sure it will feel like the real thing!

    THAT WAS AMAZING.
    I was getting all tense.i lvoed how you used clips using the original characters,, i cringed at the bit of her jumping of the cliff arrghh.The porshe,underground and Volturi bit gave me chills.
