Valentines Day Ecards

TA FOLLOWS THE STARS: CHRISTIAN, ANNA, DAVID AND ALEX

Posted October 22nd, 2009 By: Evie 2 Comments »

We have a very varied TA Follows the stars for you tonight. Christian Serratos is in a new ad for PETA2 saving baby seals; Anna Kendrick is excited to announce to her parents that she’s in a movie with George Clooney; David gives us another little glimpse into Eclipse and Alex is looking forward to Halloween.

First we have Christian in her ad for PETA2:

Check out the video on saving the baby seals with Christian here.

A tweet from Anna and check out the link to the trailer for her movie (with George Clooney of course) Up In The Air:

Watch the trailer for Up In The Air here.

David lets us know how Eclipse filming is progressing:

And apparently Alex really wanted to be a vampire for Halloween:

You can follow Christian on twitter here, Anna here, David here and Alex here.

(Thanks to Emily and Rebecca!)

We keep hearing “last day on set” from different actors on the Eclipse set. It’s still hard to believe that it’s drawing to a close in Vancouver. I’m still loving that the actors keep in touch with the fans through twitter.

What do you think of these tweets? Do you like Christian’s baby seal shirt?

I do not say that I totally disapprove the «save-the-seals» movement but I do have to say that I don’t think that the seals should be saved (it’s not that I’m cruel, I’ll explain). See, I come from Canada, Magdelen Island to be exact, the place were seal killing takes place. There, a majority of the residents are fishermen and so fish is essantiel to feed the family. The problem is that seals eat an incredible amount of fish. Then, seal hunting plays also a good part in the islands survival.

No, I do not approve any unecessary violence against animals. Yes, I do feel a little guilty about being in the cons in such a matter. But you should all consider another aspect of the problem. Generally, people claim that seal hunting is barbaric, that the ways to kill the seals are dreadful. Well, it is not nearly as bad as people think. In fact, try visiting a slaughterhouse one day and you will discover what barbaric really means. You’ll also understand that seal hunting is a lot more human than that. Finally, I’d like to end things on a question mark: What makes seal hunting more horrible than cow or chicken slaughter? (and do i need to make it clear that unlike seal, cow and chicken end your plate four or five times a week).
