Review by: Team Switzerland (Kara):
Vampire Kisses is a personalized romance novel written by D.S. Foxx and co-authored by you. You’re given the opportunity to personalize more than 24 selections in the book, including the heroine’s information (everything from her name, to her eye color, her pet’s name, and more), her female friend’s information, and then you move onto the hero’s information. You even have the option of personalizing the cover with your names and your own photo.

Though the personalization factor is great, the story itself does not disappoint. It starts off with a serendipitous encounter between the heroine and hero in the college library and follows with another meeting at a campus party. With each encounter, the hero seems to mysteriously disappear each time, leaving the heroine intrigued and wanting more. After the party, the heroine and her best friend go searching for the hero, but little do they know who – our should I say what – he really is. In a very Twilight-y type of way, the hero – who I hope you’ve guessed by now is a vampire – stays away from the heroine for fear that if he doesn’t, his instincts might get the best of him and she’ll become his prey. The heroine ends up discovering her hero’s dark secret and their love is tested, while the reader is left on the edge of their seat.

Vampire Kisses only comes up short in one area: the number of pages. With only 175 pages, the book is a very quick read and you’re left wanting more of this great story. Twilight and vampire fans will enjoy this story for its plot, but the personalization factor is what makes this book a keeper. You’ll chuckle to yourself when seeing your heroine and hero’s names on the cover, and you’ll continue to smile when reading the story and picking out all the fine details you personalized. Vampire Kisses is a must for you, and if you’re feeling generous, a great gift for a friend.

Review by: Dawnnoelle (Dawn):
I was given an opportunity to read BookByYou (personalized book), Vampire Kisses. Being a fan of vampire stories, I couldn’t pass up the chance to read this book.

When ordering the book, I was asked to personalize it by choosing the name and appearance of my best friend and the hero.
I chose to name my hero Edward (lol) and he has green eyes (I wonder where I got that from…). I was able to choose my pet and pet name.

The book arrived in the late afternoon. The cover first caught my attention – it was surreal to see my name (with the hero) as the title.
I hoped to read a few pages and go back to other work. No such luck. I could not put Vampire Kisses down once I started. I read the entire book in one sitting. I was disappointed when it ended.

It’s a fun read, almost Twilight-esque. Much of the story takes place on a college campus. The hero is mysterious and intriguing.
Without giving too much away, the plot twists held my attention.

Vampire Kisses would be a great gift for a friend or loved one.

We are very eager to hear your thoughts on the New Moon trailer and thrilled to be able to give away this great, personalized book to three of you. Good luck to everyone!

The New Moon trailer was FAN(pire)TASTIC!!! I think that it accurately captures the storyline and the mood of the new movie. Of course, who wouldn’t want to see more shirtless Taylor in the promo, but the wolf was amazing. My hope is that the end result on the wolves is that they will be larger than they appeared to be in the trailer. Beautiful lighting, beautiful make up, Laurent looked extra creepy. I love that the meadow was all dead and brown since Edward went away. The transition from Jake to wolf was phenomenal. Very flawless there. Jasper’s new do is a little odd, but maybe they’ve trying to make that connection with where he came from as a vampire and create a more southern-like appearance. Overall, I think the trailer was great. Good job Summitt. You’ve done your job of making us hunger for more!

Come on people? doesn’t anyone else see how they butchered the book? the part with Laurant and Bella and Jake? Bella was right outside Jakes house which means on the reservation and Laurant was there? how does that happen? you’d have to be a pretty dumb vampire to go on to wolf land. i dont care if your on the hunt or not. that wouldnt happen. its not factual with the book. this is what happens when hollywood gets ahold of books and turns them into movies. never as good. the beginning of the trailer was really good. dont get me wrong but it just got worse as it went on. i tell you that director better have a good place to hide cuz there are some pretty angry people out there.

    p.s. the wolf looks FAKE!

  • patricia

um Missy, i’m not trying to start a fight on here but, did you not realize that this is only 1 triler, and that twilight had more than 1 trailer, if i’m not mistakin, it had three, they din’t even show the whole movie scenes, and about the wolf part, you should kinda expect that, its cgi, it’s fake anyway and of course it’s going to look fake. i’m sorry, but when i read yur comment i was like is she even a fan of the movies at all, i know i would never say somthing bad about twilight, EVER!!

  • Jess

The trailer was amazing! I can’t wait for the movie, i feel like screaming of joy every time someone talks about it. The kiss is defiantly my favorite part. It was so intense. You feel like you can’t breath!
