TWO NEW POLLS: THE OSCARS AND HURRYING THE NEW MOON MOVIE

I totally agree with you about Twilight. But I think that’s mainly because of Kristen Stewart, who ruined Bella in opinion, and Rob. He has excellent potential to play Edward, he’s just playing him to angsty. I think Rob focuses too much on the fact that he’s 108. That’s not something most people think about when they read the book, yet every time I hear him talk about the character, that’s what he talks about.
I also thought the screen play was very well written, aside from the meadow scene which they completely screwed up.

The New Moon time limt is fine. Its an Independant movie which means they spend less time overall on the movie. Its not like they are a Big Fancey movie company like Warner Brothers. Summit are not made of money and can not produce such a high standard film everyone is expecting.

Also, The harry potter films take Forever to produce because Warner Brothers are known for wasting time and waiting for the right time to bring it out (to make more money, Summer Holidays etc). Its just nice for a change that a company is not wasting any time and getting stuck in there to produce the movies.

Well first to what Owen said, Twilight was an Independent movie. From my knowledge now New Moon is a Major Motion Picture, not Independent. I’m afraid that they will rush and ruin some of the scenes in the film. I think they have enough time though, it’s rushed but they don’t need to make that a reason to hurry. They have more money now, Chris Weitz, and wonderful actors. I hope it’s good.

I didn’t watch the Oscars because Rob was on it. I frickin love Rob and would die to meet him someday! But no, I watched it what it was made for, awards. haha I loved when Rob came out and me too wanted to see if Heath Ledger would win (of course we all knew he would:]) and other stuff. Who knew Hugh Jackman could sing and dance!?

i, too, am worried about the quality of New Moon. to have it done by November of this year is very wishful thinking. i hope theyre amazing at that CGI stuff. it will make or break it. but speaking as a fan, no matter what New Moon comes out as, i’ll still appreciate it and watch it as many times as i can in theaters just like i did with twilight. twilight movie wasnt even all that great but i love the series. i’ll be satisfied either way (good or bad)

and yeah i agree with what Audrey said about how rob basically thought edward like a 108 year old when it didnt even come off like that while i read the series. edward talked different, like from another time, but he was still a young, matured spirit.

as for the oscars, yes i saw it because of rob and the fashion on the red carpet =P

To be honest, NEW MOON on filming for november…mmm…it will suck.
So sorry to say the truth, but films who get filmed in less time screw everything up, and for Dakota getting involved…she wont have the time to share the talent and let us know how good she is on acting instead of modeling on screan as the rest of the crew…cause when I saw Twilight I thought watching modeling commercials, which are realy eww and awful to watch. I love acting and hate actors who dont have any experience. I know with the time they will get better. Anyway, I watch the Oscars for real movies, as for the great actor of my generation and inspiration for my acting, Heath Ledger. Watch the Oscars for Rob? I dint see him there, and if he was there, who cares? I dont need to watch a model who died on Potter and did awful on Twilight. I watch it for the real actors and of course, the brilliant performance of Huge Jackman, cause dint believe my eyes! HE SINGS AND DANCES SO BRILLIANT! BLOODY HELL! WICKED! Thats my fact.
