TWO NEW TWILIGHTERSANONYMOUS.COM POLLS: THE ‘NEW MOON’ LOGO AND THE ‘NEW MOON’ ONE-SHEET
We already have two brand new polls ready for you today. This time around we’re looking at some promotional things for New Moon. The first poll is for the logo and title of New Moon, or more specifically Twilight Saga: New Moon. Our second poll is about the one-sheet that was released last week. Let us know what you think!
I chose “I don’t care” for the title/logo Twilight Saga: New Moon. At first it seemed silly to me, we know New Moon is part of the Twilight Saga. I do understand though, for people who don’t know the books, it is a big help to know that New Moon is part of a whole series. For the second poll I put “love it, it’s perfect”. I know I may be in the minority here, but I really do love the one-sheet. Maybe because it’s so much better to me than the one-sheet for Twilight, but I really do like the one for New Moon.

logo - don’t care. Most people will (already do) refer to it as just New Moon anyway. It’s like the Star Wars saga - no one says Star Wars Episode V: Empire Strikes Back even though that’s the official name. Even the Harry Potter most people abbreviate to the last part of the title, leaving off the Harry Potter part.
poster - I voted “I love it, it’s perfect” although I don’t know that I would say it’s perfect. That was just the closest of the choices. I do really like it and often find myself looking at it
and I agree it’s better than the one for Twilight. Edward looked more like a vampire in the poster than he did in the movie, almost scary even. And Bella looked softer and more naive in the poster than in the movie. Kristen gave her an “edge” I think. The New Moon poster looks like a closer reflection of the characters.
I voted Don’t care and Love it.
I don’t care what they call it-everybody will call it New Moon anyway.
I do love this one-sheet and I think it does capture the characters well and each one’s individual feelings in New Moon. I agree with Addicted to Edward that Kristen gave Bella an edge she didn’t have in the book. And that’s a good thing. And I think this one-sheet captures that. I would have liked Bella in the middle of Edward and Jacob, but after reading many comments on this site, I can see now that it was better this way. I’m sure the Eclipse one will have Bella in the middle.
I like the fact it says,”Twilight Saga:New Moon” because there are other movies out there called New Moon. This states specifically it’s TWILIGHT’S New Moon.
Also I thought the poster was not on target. It looks almost like Bella chose Jacob and there’s no remorse in her face,like there should be over Edward leaving. The fan poster showed that,and it also didn’t have Bella touching Jacob’s arm.If I never read these stories,and was just interested in the movies,I would think that Bella and Jacob end up together,and that Edward never came back.
The logo’s cool, helps us know that it’s a part of the twilight saga. No problem there.
Now with the one sheet, my only issue is that Jacob is shorter than Edward.. why? He’s said to have grown considerably and there was a big issue about that with casting for the movie so how come it doesn’t show in the poster. Yeah he looks like he’d love kick Eddie’s a$$ but he should be taller and bigger to me.

Wouldn’t that make the reunion that much sweeter? Who wants to know the ending of a movie before they see it?
I like the title and logo and the one sheet althought i kinda agree with Cece that jake should be taller but the only possible way would be chuncky boots which wouldnt really be good if only they could stretch him hey lol
