VANITY FAIR: ROBERT PATTINSON VOTED THE MOST HANDSOME MAN IN THE WORLD
Earlier this month, Vanity Fair asked you to vote for who you think the most handsome man in the world is, and now the votes are in! There was some very stiff competition, but Robert Pattinson blew everyone out of the water with 51% of the votes.
Rob ended up winning with 137,946 votes, while his runner-up, Nacho Figueras, came in with only 39874 votes. Other honorable mentions include Brad Pitt with 12% of the votes, and Johnny Depp with 7%.

Rob is lovely, but I still have a hard time titling anyone “The most handsome man in the world”. I’m not surprised at all that he won, however, because clearly we know how passionate Twilighters are.

No, I’m not surprised, and sure he’s the most handsome man in “our” world, but the whole world? That’s a lot to live up to. I’m sure he’s uncomfortable with this kind of title, he’s so humble. He sure has received a lot of these pretty face awards lately that are totally unsolicited by him. It’s to sell their magazines because his face is on all their covers. Like you said though we twilighters are a passionate bunch. See what we can do when we have a chance to vote.

Twilighters are to web polls like Torontonians are to demand its! Twilight will always win in a web poll and any show, whether its the Spice Girls or Cute With Chris (youtuber), will always be in Toronto.
Just a thought… I wonder if RP even knows he’s been voted the most handsome man in the world? LOL… he just doesn’t seem to be the type to keep up with any news about him… he’s too humble for that.

not surprised… you know that he started out at 70%, and had been decreasing afterwards (but starting at that rate, who else could win?).
I totally belive it’s the type of title that was unsollicited and is hard to live up to (Rob is a hot guy, but nobody is the most handsome man, and with his character, I don’t know how he will feel about it - more like “Oh really? there must be a mistake…”).
It would have been better accepted by non-fans if Brad Pitt of Johnny Depp had won ^^ but I guess their fans are less active online.
First of all, I agree that Rob is absolutely gorgeous; however, I also agree with Team Switzerland in saying that it’s hard to ever title someone “the most handsome man in the world” since beauty is always in the eye of the beholder! And sadly ageism plays a huge factor in our society - just look at Brad Pitt’s numbers now from say 10 or 15 years ago.
As for deserving it - does anyone ever deserve to be beautiful? We are simply how God made us, beautiful or not. But I’m not at all surprised Rob won so handily! At least for now, he truly is one of the most beautiful men out there!
No I’m not surprised he won, of all the celebrities out there he is the most truly delicious. But lets not get caught up in titles, we all know that only those who have a public persona are considered for such awards.

Yes, it’s a heavy burden to be so beautiful. I love that he won by such a margin. There may be someone, somewhere who is more gorgeous, however if that is the case, let’s see’em. Until then…I’m happy with the status quo.
OF COURSE HE SHOULD HAVE WON!!! His look is not “pretty boy” but mysteriously beautiful. You can see his soul though those compelling eyes. I must say, I NEVER tire of looking at him in photos or interviews. I like Hugh J. but Rob outshines them all.

I don’t think I conveyed that thought in my post. I certainly wasn’t thinking he didn’t deserve the title. Like TMA, I voted quite a few times. All for Rob. And who is that guy that came in second? A very distant second. Never heard of him.

I am not surprised he won. There are so many Twilight fans out there, none of the other guys really had much of a chance, tho as many times as I voted, not a single vote went towards Rob. Sorry, but I don’t think he was the best looking of the guys on the list. . .
Hello Gorgeous! What a face! I’m not surprised. Hands down the most beautiful man in any contest. I’m just a little bit biased here. Twilighters are a strong force. Our votes won the MTV awards. Now this one. How about making a Rob Pattinson calendar and using the featured picture on the cover? I’ll be first in line to buy one.
