VOLTURI REVEALED: ARO, CAIUS, JANE AND ALEC!
Not only do we have Marcus for you today, but now we also have more members of the Volturi to show you as they are released one by one. We will be showing you Alec, Jane, Caius and Aro next! Keep checking back as we post each of the different Volturi members as they are released to other sites.

Alec is a high ranking member of the Volturi Guard. The Volturi were waiting to change Alec and his twin sister Jane until they were older, but humans tried to burn them at the stake, so the Volturi were forced to “change” them while they were young. Since acquiring Alec and Jane, the Volturi have seldom needed to fight - their victims are simply slaughtered.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:
Aro is the leader of the Volturi. The sophisticated, urbane vampire’s goal is to recruit Edward and Alice to the Volturi. He refuses Edward’s request to be killed because of this. He lets them leave with Bella so as to not become their enemy (which would prevent his recruiting) and because he sees potential in Bella should she join the vampire world. He makes Edward and Alice promise to change Bella soon.

Wow, they look… well…like the Volturi. Caius looks creepy, Alec and Jane look like I pictured them in terms of appropriate age, with that innocent/ nasty possibility.
I CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE GGGAAAA.
But don’t show too much more, I don’t want to have all the surprises revealed, I was almost hoping they would keep the Volturi secret until we saw them on screen.
EEP. THEY LOOK AWESOME. A little less sexy than i imagined, but i bet when i see them in action, i’ll change my mind
Alec and Jane are stunning - completely dead on. LOVE Alec’s jacket. Marcus and Caius are dressed just as I pictured them in my head, although I always envisioned Caius a tad bit older-looking, not sure why. But Aro…dare I say it…never in my wildest imagination did I picture him in a (very) modern-looking suit. I always envisioned him in a flowing robe, just as Caius and Marcus. Something about the suit makes him appear more younger-looking than I would have imagined. Interesting choice of attire. Or perhaps we’re only seeing what’s under his robe in this shot. Can’t wait to find out! Oh…and here’s hoping Felix and Demetri appear as dapper as Alec - I always imagined them as quite the handsome trio.

I agree with Melissa, I pictured Caius older but Jamie looks great! And Aro’s suit, I didn’t expect that, I pictured all of them in robes too. But then again they are supposed to be living in this century. Aro looks so suave for a vampire! I can’t take it anymore. I’m squealing inside with excitement, cannot wait to get home and get in the forum! AGGGHHHHH!!!!

You need to remember that as of New Moon, we don’t know what Alec does… If MTV writes it, then its a spolier….

I will admit - when I heard the Dakota Fanning was set to play the role of Jane, I was VERY SKEPTICAL. I mean, we’ve seen it in other movies where bringing in a big name actor ends up hurting the project because people can’t stop seeing the ACTOR instead of the CHARACTER. After seeing her picture as Jane, I have never been so happy to be proven wrong! =)
As for the other Volturi, everyone looks amazing…the make up is great, but I pictured them in hooded, floor length sweeping robes (described so detailed in the books and in Bella’s nightmares!) The guys look very western, but as long as their performances come off dark and maniacal like I’ve always imagined, they will be amazing.
Hurry up NOVEMBER!

Dakota is simply AMAZING as Jane. I could not have imagined a better Jane. The guy who plays Alec is hot but scary, and fits well.
Im skeptical about Caius and Aro. I imagined Caius older and here he kinda looks like a Dracula vampire rather then a Twilight vampire.
Aro still gives me the Dracula vampire thing, same as Caius - but he putting him in a modern suit is kinda cool idea.
I don’t know, ill have to see the last two in action to see if they’re fitting or not!
oh WOW!!!!! I am soo loving this peek in at the Volturi! Amazing how they have captured them so perfectly! Alec needs to be a bit whiter and I agree with someones comment about Janes clothes and such but WOW! I can finally say that I am thrilled with this part of the casting! So much better than the wolfpack! WOOT! Come on November!

okay, i hope that’s not actually how they’re supposed to look in the movie. they got jane all wrong. she’s supposed to have short,almost boyish, brown hair. not long pinned up blond hair. it looks totally wrong. especially because she and alec are twins, and should both therefore have the same hair color. caius…that’s a fitting picture. he looks really pretty frightening.
and then alec’s power is that he makes that magical fog/smoke or whatever that makes your senses go numb. i’m not exactly sure what anyone would call that
. although it might just not be up there because they don’t know that in nm. idk.

Yeah, c’mon people! Alec’s special abilities “UNKNOWN”?!?!? Seriously? I mean, it’s in the Twilipedia, so… Like it’s mentioned, Alec has the exact opposite power to Jane’s - kind of an antidote, though it can prove just as fatal. He can block his victims’ senses, one by one, or all together. And, unlike his sister, he can use his power on many people at once, while Jane can only affect one at a time. And in Breaking Dawn, it’s described like a cloud of mist.

It’s not a spolier for those that read the books which, I think all true Twilight Fans have. For those that haven’t I don’t think would be all interested in watching the movies until they read the books and if they choose to soley watch the movies and not read the books, then they wouldn’t know when Alec powers are truly revealed thus not creating spoilers.
I did not picture Jane with all that makeup on. They called her “agelic.” To me, she does not look angelic. She looks trashy. Marcus and Alex are the only ones who looks anything like I pictured.

to tell the, truth in my opinion this isn’t what I expected, someone mentioned that they arent beautifull enough I think that is sort of it, we are supposed to be attracted to them (being vampires) the truth is my problem is with jane and aro. Jane is not at all what I expected, she lookes more like a secretary, and Aro, well I think he looks too nice, and the suit is way off. But all in all the actors are great so in real life motion I know this will be good. I think that these are just bad pictures, and misleading.
I have to agree with Marianne. I was really hoping they weren’t going to reveal the Volturi before the movie. BUT, since they have, I have to say that I think Jane is perfect. Her hair is off, but she looks incredibly angelic and scary at the same time, perfect! I have always thought that Jamie is too young to play Caius, seeing him in the make-up I still think so. I really pictured him as older looking. I am very pleased though with they way they look and their costumes.

HOLY WOW. I’m very excited to see them in action!! I think the pictures are AMAZING!!! I think Dakota can pull off Jane. I apologize for doubting her. I’m excited about Caius, because he’s exactly how I imagined him. I thought his hair would look more like Malfoy’s dad though….

Yes, Tia, my first reaction to them saying that Alec’s special ability was unknown was the same as yours. Then I stopped to think about it. In New Moon, we don’t know what Alec’s ability is - we don’t find out until Breaking Dawn.
I like what I see in these pictures although it’s nothing like what I had pictured in my mind. I can’t wait until 20 November to see it all together.

Caius looks a little pale in comparison to the others though I think. Maybe it will look different on-screen.
Aro looks much more personable than I expected in a suit instead of the long black cape.
