Peter Facinelli has been working hard the last couple of weeks, as he makes his way through press interviews to promotes his movie Loosies, and now the Breaking Dawn – Part 1 DVD. Here Peter makes an appearance on ‘The Today Show’ where he talks about the reasons he thinks The Twilight Saga has made such an impact on people’s psyche, before getting into the story of Loosies. The Twilight Saga has completely captivated so many fans, Peter Facinelli told Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb during his Feb. 7 appearance on the Today show “It’s not a typical vampire movie, it’s about forbidden love,” he told the hosts. Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the films, called his “son” Edward Cullen, played by Rob, “a timeless gentleman,” explaining the character’s enormous appeal to young women.

While it’s not the biggest news in the world, I’m still very excited all the same to share that Summit Entertainment has revealed the official title treatment for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2! The new title treatment for Part 2 is a totally different color from Part 1, with a more golden yellow color, very reminiscent of New Moon, but with a little less of the warm golden color and more of a cool yellow color. Check out the title treatment below:

I find it interesting that they went back to a yellow based color for this title treatment. I almost expected this last one to either match up a little more with Part 1 or else be more like the original Twilight title treatment, bringing it all full circle.

Entertainment Weekly is bringing us the newest little peek at an extra from the special features on the Breaking Dawn – Part 1 DVD. This time we get to see how the special effects team brought the wolves to life in the fight scenes, and what it was like for the Cullen family actors to face imaginary foes. Check out more below:

In this exclusive EW clip, it’s all about the wolf pack and their climactic battle with the Cullens towards the end of the film. (And if you don’t want your wolves-are-real illusions shattered, we suggest you don’t continue onward.) The choreography and special effects and stunts were all carefully thought out and planned to the very second in order to make the scene look as realistic as possible. Funny then, how hard it is for the actual actors to pantomime fight scenes versus the air, or in some cases, a not-so-ferocious beanbag. My favorite part? Watching Jackson Rathbone (Jasper) explain that the hardest part in shooting these dramatic scenes is trying not to laugh
