Next Movie caught up with the lovely Ashley Greene as she did the press junket rounds for her movie Apparition. Here Ashley answers five questions on what it was like to work on such a psychological thriller, her favorite types of films to work on, what it was like to work with Harry Potter Star, Tom Felton, and what she’s got coming up in the future. Read more below:

Tom Felton, a.k.a Draco Malfoy from “Harry Potter,” also stars in the film. Did you guys swap wizard/vampire stories?

We talked about it a little bit, just about how crazy it is to be a part of something like that. He is just the nicest guy, and we were talking about how it changes everything in a second and how thankful we were, and the madness of how quickly it happened. We didn’t necessarily trade creepy vampire/wizard stories.

What has been your favorite type of film to work on?

[The upcoming] “Butter” was really fun because everyone involved [Jennifer Garner, Ty Burrell, Hugh Jackman and Olivia Wilde] was just having a really good time and they were hysterical. And you got to go to work and laugh everyday, and it was extremely fun. I was on-set even when I wasn’t working.

What’s next for you?

“CBGB” is coming out and “Butter” is coming out, so it’s a bit of a mix. I want people to be able to see different sides of me because they’ve seen Alice Cullen for so long, and as great as she is, I think it’s time for people to see a different side.

The newest trailer for Ashley Greene’s other new movie role, Butter, has just come out, and it’s got a couple of sneaky little Twilight references in there - if you care to seek them out. Ashley takes on the role of Kaitlen Pickler, and looks to be playing the daughter of Jennifer Garner’s crazy character. Butter is appearing in film festivals all over the place, and will be available to see in limited release in the USA on October 5th. Read more below:

I heard one definite Twilight reference right in the middle, and then one more, which could be pushing it as a Twi-reference, but still reminds me of the very first movie. References or not, this movie looks so funny. If it’s half as good as the trailer, this movie is going to be fantastic!

To promote her latest movie, The Apparition, Ashley Greene had a live “Twitterview” yesterday, where she answered all types of fan questions on her twitter account. The questions ranged from those dealing directly with The Apparition, to Twilight, and her favorite movies and actors. Check out a little from the Q&A below:

What did you like the most filming The Apparition?
Ashley: Exploring different emotions and situations. I’d never done a film this dark. It was dfinitely a challenge and I’m proud that I did it.

What was the hardest part of filming The Apparition?
Ashley: Being physically and mentally exhausted for three months.

What was your favorite part of being in Twilight?
Ashley: Being able to portray a character that I loved so much and having the support of all the amazing fans

If you could be friends with any of the characters you’ve played, who would it be and why?
Ashley: Alice! She’s extremely fashionable, loyal, and she could definitely protect me from bad guys.

What’s your favorite comedy movie?
Ashley: Billy Madison. My mom had to hide the tape from my brother and I because we watched it over and over and over again.

If you could be anyone for just a day, who would it be and why?
Ashley: Will Ferrell… hands down.

While at a private dinner at the Chateau Marmont last Tuesday to celebrate her brand new Nylon magazine cover, the lovely Ashley Greene spoke out about what she will foremost be taking away from her experience over the years on The Twilight Saga. Read more below:

When asked what her biggest takeaway from the past few years was — her rising style-icon status, multiple film and television projects all spurred from”Twilight”- she answered, “The fans.”

“I remember being at the first premiere and wanting to cry, it was the first time seeing all that love and support. They’ve been there ever since,” Greene said.

She also realizes the significance of giving away this final film, directed by Bill Condon.

“We’re at the point now where I’m like, ‘Oh. This is getting weird’ …,” she said, “It’s strange. We’re not going back [to film] after this last premiere. We made this family and, you know.”
