New ‘Breaking Dawn - Part 2′ Teaser Poster at Comic Con

Posted July 17th, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

There has already been a previous poster for Breaking Dawn - Part 2 that was seen at Comic Con, featuring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner as Bella, Edward and Jacob, and now one more was spotted. This new one is actually a teaser poster much like the one we saw for Breaking Dawn - Part 1, and still different than an earlier version for Breaking Dawn - Part 2 that was spotted earlier at CinemaCon. The big difference it seems is that the new teaser for Breaking Dawn - Part 2 actually has a much brighter, more colorful feel than the ominous teaser for Part 1. Check out the poster below:

Perhaps the lighter feel in this teaser poster is a preview for the happiness that Bella eventually has?

New ‘Breaking Dawn - Part 2′ Poster Featuring Bella, Edward and Jacob

Posted July 16th, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

In addition to the Breaking Dawn - Part 2 vampire coven posters and the new vamipire biographies, it loooks like one more new poster has been spotted at Comic Con. Here we have a poster that features our famous Twilight Trio, with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner as Bella, Edward and Jacob. If the picture looks familiar, it’s because it’s also appearing on the cover of the new 16-month Breaking Dawn - Part 2 calendar that’s been making the rounds online, but this time we’ve got the official title treatment with the release date on it! Check out the poster below:

It’s nice to see that they are still making some posters with the three leads on it. As excited as I am about all of the new characters, it does kind of keep up a nice pattern to have all three on a poster since we had them for both New Moon and Eclipse as well!

Nicolas Ghesquiere on Choosing Kristen Stewart to Represent the New Balenciaga Scent

Posted July 16th, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

The Moodie Report has a nice little article where Balenciaga creative director ,Nicolas Ghesquiére, describes the brand’s new fragrance, what it represents, and exactly why Kristen Stewart was the perfect person to be the face of the new scent. Read more below:

The edp scent is said to combine the fantastical and ultra-contemporary aspects of the Balenciaga brand. “There is a real duality in Balenciaga, between classicism and experimentation,” noted Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière. “For this new fragrance, I wanted to explore this paradox between the pure and the enigmatic further. A few years ago, I designed this ‘floral collection’. The dresses were covered with flowers, but these flowers were neither charming nor romantic. They structured the whole silhouette. I wanted the flowers in this perfume to express the same idea.”

The name Florabotanica references the 18th century botanical gardens in which the most exotic and rarest plant species were displayed. “It is a secret garden where you find surprising flowers that surpass the imagination,” Ghesquière explained. “They are beautiful but are they really that harmless? Flowers can be cruel, carnivorous or venomous, contain poisons. What would a perfume that contained the charm and mystery of flowers be like? This is the story that we wanted to tell with Florabotanica.”

The juice, composed by Olivier Polge and Jean-Christophe Hérault, features two key accords. The vetiver, amber and caladium leaf accord aims to evoke a resonance of mossy and mysterious dark wood, according to the brand. The rose, carnation and mint accord delivers exhilaration and a juvenile freshness. The rose in question is a hybrid, experimental rose, with its origins in Turkey, to which a formula of “psychosensory plants” has been added.

The fragrance face is actress Kristen Stewart, best known for her role in the blockbuster Twilight saga. Balanciaga chose her for her tetchy youthfulness and rebellious femininity.

“Kristen Stewart has a real personality,” noted Ghesquière. “She captivated me when we met a few years ago. I had not forgotten her. She is the perfect embodiment of a certain idea of Balenciaga: that beauty that is both pure and uncontrollable. We met again for Florabotanica. She is totally this graceful and mysterious figure that symbolises this strange botanical garden.”

The fragrance flacon features graphic black and white stripes, as favoured by Cristóbal Balenciaga. An oversized tube plunges into the middle of the bottle in the style of a laboratory test tube.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson on ‘Breaking Dawn’ Sex Scenes at Comic Con Press Conference

Posted July 13th, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

In a rather funny part of the Breaking Dawn - Part 2 press conference, Kristen Stewart was asked about the rather steamy sex scenes that take place in both Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and Breaking Dawn - Part 2. As soon as the reporter poses the question, but Mackenzie Foy, and Stephenie Meyer put their hands over the little girl’s ears. Kristen and Robert Pattinson go on to talk about the scenes and how they didn’t make the cut for Part 2, all the while clearly uncomfortable with talking about sex in front of Mackenzie. Check out the video from the press conference below thanks to PopSugar:

Sorry to disappoint, but Kristen Stewart says there won’t be any steamy love scenes between Edward and Bella when Breaking Dawn Part 2 comes to theaters in November. Kristen and Robert Pattinson spoke about the final film at a press conference at Comic-Con today, where a reporter asked Kristen if fans can expect to see more heat between the couple, especially now that Bella’s a vampire. See Kristen’s answer, and watch her squirm as she tries to talk about sex in front of young Mackenzie Foy — awkward!
