Fan Video Sunday: Come Back to Me Please Baby

Posted June 17th, 2012 By: LexiconAficionado No Comments »

A very Happy Sunday to everyone! This week we bring you an Edward & Bella themed video from XAXAwitch1′s channel and is titled Come Back to Me Please Baby || Breaking Dawn and features Pina by Thom Hanreich.

This video is short but has a punch! It starts with reminding us of how Bella and Edward fell for each other in Twilight, before jumping to their wedding in Breaking Dawn, skipping all the drama and angst of their relationship in New Moon and Eclipse. It then focuses briefly on the friendship between Jacob and Bella that really blossomed in New Moon and Eclipse, just enough to show that there is a tie between Jacob and Bella that can’t be broken before panning back to the story again, that of Bella and Edward’s undeniable love. I love the little glimpse of the grown up Renesmee, who is carefree and happy. It just reiterates why Bella went through with the pregnancy, despite the danger to her own very mortal life. She did it for love but also unknowingly, she did it for the benefit of those around her, even Edward and Jacob since Renesmee is that light and happiness, a sense of normalcy in a world of predators and myths.

Kristen Stewart Appears in Interview Magazine with Charlize Theron

Posted June 2nd, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

Interview Magazine has a great feature on the gorgeous duo of Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron from Snow White and The Huntsman in their latest issue. Here we have a couple of shots from their photoshoot and a little bit of the interview with Kristen. In this little snippet of the interview, Kristen talks about shooting different movies in-between shooting the Twilight movies, and discusses just how hard it was to shake the character of Joan Jett from The Runaways.

MITCHELL: It seems like every year you have these two wildly different pulls between the bigger movies that you do, like the Twilight films, and then the smaller ones that you’ve done. I remember a couple of years ago when you had both Welcome to the Rileys [2010] and The Runaways at Sundance.

STEWART: Yeah, I think it went Twilight, Welcome to the Rileys, New Moon, Runaways, then Eclipse, so it was like one of those movies between each Twilight movie.

MITCHELL: It seems like Joan would be another hard habit to shake.

STEWART: She was. I went to do Eclipse right after, and I think the director of that movie might have said to another cast member that he had to beat the Joan Jett out of me. [Mitchell laughs] For a while, I just walked kind of hunched over. Joan has great defensive tools, and I became a bit attached to them.

MITCHELL: Like which ones?

STEWART: Just the way she deals with people. I think we were promoting New Moon just as I was finishing The Runaways, and I remember going to Comic-Con with a Minor Threat T-shirt on. I was really happy and excited to be there, but I was so defensive and crazy. [laughs] It’s hard to deal with the press. There are always a lot of leading questions and opinions. Of course, our work is creative, and it’s subjective. But I was totally Joan Jett-ing out. We were doing interviews, and one wrong thing was said, and Joan has this crazy ability to just shut down and look at you like, “Well, I’m done now. Later.” It was so . . . I’m not like that, but . . . Yeah, I was then

A very Happy Sunday to everyone! This week we bring you a Twilight Saga themed video from videosbycatherine’s channel and is titled No Light || The Twilight Saga and features No Light by Florence + The Machines.

This is such a lovely tribute to a saga that we all adore. The very best of Edward, Bella, Jacob, the Cullens and Quilette wolves, that we saw in Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn are showcased in this video. Florence + The Machines’ No Light seems to complement the saga beautifully and is perfect for this video. And I always love Bella’s narration as an accompaniment.

Fan Video Sunday: I Finally Found That I Could Shine

A very Happy Sunday to everyone! This week we bring you an Edward and Bella themed video from gicus1019′s channel and is titled Edward & Bella || I Finally Found That I Could Shine and features Deep Shadows by Tying Tiffany and Lorenzo Montana.

This is a beautiful video highlighting the key events in Bella’s journey in becoming a part of Edward’s world, from Twilight to New Moon to Eclipse and finally Breaking Dawn. She is just well suited to all that is good in an immortal’s life. Aro said it best in Breaking Dawn, Chapter 36, Bloodlust, “In truth, young Bella, immortality does become you most extraordinarily. It is as if you were designed for this life.” And I just love her narration at the beginning, “After 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found that I could shine.” The eerie quality of Deep Shadows by Tying Tiffany and Lorenzo Montana is very fitting for the video.

Fan Video Sunday: I Can’t Live Without You

A very Happy Sunday to everyone! This week we bring you an Edward and Bella themed video from 25CrazyVampGirlProdz’s channel and is titled I Can’t Live Without You || Edward and Bella.

This is such a compelling video to show how true the love between Edward and Bella is, despite their initial resistance. Their love and connection is just too strong, as evidence on how it persevered and remained strong in spite of all the trials and tribulations they faced in Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. I love the piece of music chosen too. Just wish I knew its name.

What do you think of the video? Do you know the name of the piece of music used?

Fan Video Sunday: Waiting For The End

Posted April 29th, 2012 By: LexiconAficionado No Comments »

A very Happy Sunday to everyone! This week we bring you a Twilight Saga themed video from GreysArwen’s channel and is titled The Twilight Saga || Waiting For The End and features Waiting For The End by Linkin Park.

This is a cute little video that showed the journey Edward and Bella were on from Twilight, to New Moon, to Eclipse and eventually Breaking Dawn. Bella knew the risk she was taking being involved with Edward but would have expected to face danger from Edward’s immediate family while Edward would have expected his life to be uneventful since he was involved with a human. Yet their lives went through so many upheavals and faced dangers from so many quarters, from werewolves to newborn vampires, and even as far away as Volterra in Italy. Indeed, the Cullens must have faced more adventures since Bella entered their lives than before, none of them planned but happened anyway. I think this video is bittersweet for me, for as Bella is excited to get on to her life as a vampire, and we are as excited to see her as one, it would also signal the end of the Twilight Saga for us. Interesting how Linkin Park’s Waiting For The End fits the video so perfectly!
