New ‘Breaking Dawn - Part 2′ Teaser Poster at Comic Con

Posted July 17th, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

There has already been a previous poster for Breaking Dawn - Part 2 that was seen at Comic Con, featuring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner as Bella, Edward and Jacob, and now one more was spotted. This new one is actually a teaser poster much like the one we saw for Breaking Dawn - Part 1, and still different than an earlier version for Breaking Dawn - Part 2 that was spotted earlier at CinemaCon. The big difference it seems is that the new teaser for Breaking Dawn - Part 2 actually has a much brighter, more colorful feel than the ominous teaser for Part 1. Check out the poster below:

Perhaps the lighter feel in this teaser poster is a preview for the happiness that Bella eventually has?

Paul Becker on the Job of ‘Breaking Dawn’ Choreographer

Posted July 17th, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

Broadway World has a rather interesting interview with Paul Becker, the man behind all of the choreography in Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and Part 2. Here Paul talks about getting the job, working with Bill Condon, and even getting a cameo appearance in the film. Read more below:

PC: You appear at the memorable wedding in TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN PART 1, do you not?

PB: [Laughs.] Yes. Actually, it was really funny - as you know, Bill Condon, the director, wrote CHICAGO and so he brought me in to choreograph TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN PART 1 and PART 2. And, so, I showed up on set and we were all having a good time, and, then, when I showed up on set for the last day of filming, where we were doing the big wedding scene, and I go into my trailer and I find there is a suit there. So, I say to the AD, “Why is there a suit in there?” and, she says, “Bill Condon wants you to get into wardrobe.” And, I say, “What?! What do you mean ‘wardrobe’?!” And, so I put on the suit and I go onset and Bill is there and he puts his arm around me and says, “I got you in CHICAGO and now I’m gonna put you in this one.” And, so, he put me in the scene.

PC: What a great story.

PB: Yeah, it was really fun. It was nice of him to do that.

PC: How did you get involved with Bill on TWILIGHT in the first place? Was it just the CHICAGO connection?

PB: I’m not sure - we never actually met on CHICAGO, but my girlfriend Sharon Leal was in DREAMGIRLS that he directed so she had known him. I had never met him before TWILIGHT, though. One of the producers called me - I just got a random phone call one day and someone said, “Bill Condon saw your material and he would like to meet with you.” And, so, I was actually filming the TV series HELLCATS at the time, in Vancouver, so I just went over to the TWILIGHT set and I could not believe how hi-security it was - I mean, you could not get on the set!

MyAnna Buring Discusses her ‘Breaking Dawn’ Audition Tape and Jumping into the ‘Saga’

Posted July 16th, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

We didn’t get to see the beautiful MyAnna Buring at this year’s Comic Con for Breaking Dawn - Part 2, but in a recent interview with The Coventry Telegraph, MyAnna did speak about her audition tape for Breaking Dawn, and what it was like to jump into the story at the end. Read the interview below:

“So on the off chance that they might look at a tape, I sent one off, already being a fan of the Twilight series, particularly the books. I sent it off thinking ‘This is a big Hollywood franchise and I’m little old me and they’re looking for a beautiful vampire’.

“I must have done something really right because I got the job two weeks later. I’d never met [director] Bill [Condon], I’d never met author Stephenie [Meyer], I’d never met any of the producers until I stepped foot on set. So after being confirmed for the job, I spent the next few months worrying they were going to call back and tell me they’d changed their minds.”

She didn’t get such a call, so she went into preparation mode: “I went back to the books, first and foremost. I went back and re-read them all and focused on the sections where Tanya was mentioned, focused on the sections where the Denalis were mentioned, what the Denalis said, how Stephenie had written them.

“And there’s a lot of backstory. I did a bit of research on vampire folklore and then obviously when I was on set, I had Stephenie there, so if I had any questions I could go to the original creator. It was just how I’d prepare for any part.”

New ‘Breaking Dawn - Part 2′ Poster Featuring Bella, Edward and Jacob

Posted July 16th, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

In addition to the Breaking Dawn - Part 2 vampire coven posters and the new vamipire biographies, it loooks like one more new poster has been spotted at Comic Con. Here we have a poster that features our famous Twilight Trio, with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner as Bella, Edward and Jacob. If the picture looks familiar, it’s because it’s also appearing on the cover of the new 16-month Breaking Dawn - Part 2 calendar that’s been making the rounds online, but this time we’ve got the official title treatment with the release date on it! Check out the poster below:

It’s nice to see that they are still making some posters with the three leads on it. As excited as I am about all of the new characters, it does kind of keep up a nice pattern to have all three on a poster since we had them for both New Moon and Eclipse as well!

The Denali Coven Discuss the Epic Dance Surprise During ‘Breaking Dawn - Part 2′ Filming

Posted July 14th, 2012 By: Evie No Comments »

Josh Horowitz of MTV had the chance to chat with ome of cthe members of the Denali Coven for a recent Comic Con special, and here he talks with Maggie Grace, Casey LaBow and Mia Maestro about their experience on set for Breaking Dawn - Part 2. The girls talk about the epic fight scene briefly before launcing into an explanation of the epic dance scene that they staged as a surprise for Bill Condon and an overall morale boost. Check out the video below:

Grace and co-stars Mía Maestro and Casey LaBow spilled all the details about their choreographed dance-off during our San Diego Comic-Con live stream on Thursday before heading to the “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2″ panel in Hall H. According to LaBow, there are “surprises” in store for viewers of this final “Twilight” film, but their on-set dance performance was a way to surprise and celebrate the film’s director, Bill Condon.

“It was meant to be a thing for Bill,” LaBow said. “Everybody on set knew about it except for Bill.”

“We wanted just to surprise him and we just wanted to move and dance and have fun,” Maestro added.

In addition to celebrating Condon, the dance-off had another goal for those involved. After six weeks of filming in the same area, Grace said they needed to mix things up.

“We needed the morale boost, I think, to unite us all in vampirehood and joy,” she explained.

The dance was performed to the ’80s jam “Sweet Dreams” by Eurythmics, Maestro revealed. While she said she was the organizer of the dance-off, she also gave credit to everyone who participated in making it happen.

“It was a huge group effort,” Maestro said.

While live-stream viewers may not have gotten to see them perform the full dance, Grace did reveal one part that was fitting, given that all three actors portray the vampires of the Denali coven in “Breaking Dawn.”

“There’s a vampire thing in there,” Grace said. “A little ‘Thriller.’ “.
