Fan Video Sunday: Waiting For The End

Posted April 29th, 2012 By: LexiconAficionado No Comments »

A very Happy Sunday to everyone! This week we bring you a Twilight Saga themed video from GreysArwen’s channel and is titled The Twilight Saga || Waiting For The End and features Waiting For The End by Linkin Park.

This is a cute little video that showed the journey Edward and Bella were on from Twilight, to New Moon, to Eclipse and eventually Breaking Dawn. Bella knew the risk she was taking being involved with Edward but would have expected to face danger from Edward’s immediate family while Edward would have expected his life to be uneventful since he was involved with a human. Yet their lives went through so many upheavals and faced dangers from so many quarters, from werewolves to newborn vampires, and even as far away as Volterra in Italy. Indeed, the Cullens must have faced more adventures since Bella entered their lives than before, none of them planned but happened anyway. I think this video is bittersweet for me, for as Bella is excited to get on to her life as a vampire, and we are as excited to see her as one, it would also signal the end of the Twilight Saga for us. Interesting how Linkin Park’s Waiting For The End fits the video so perfectly!

Fan Video Sunday: You Know It Will Always Be Your Home, Right?

A very Happy Sunday to everyone! This week we bring you a Swan Family themed video from loveforlumos’s channel and is titled You Know It Will Always Be Your Home, Right? || Goodbyes and features Goodbyes by Carter Burwell.

Bella has been preparing to say goodbye to her parents ever since she decided that her life is with Edward. This video shows how even as she loves Edward and the Cullens, her love for her parents, Charlie and Renee is also strong, so cutting herself off permanently with them couldn’t have been an easy decision. I love seeing her interaction with her parents, in particular with Charlie. Even though she always had to be responsible when she stayed with Renee, with Charlie she was able to just be Daddy’s little girl. This was most apparent during her wedding in Breaking Dawn. That scene where Bella was with her Dad before walking down the aisle has always been a favourite of mine. Carter Burwell’s Goodbye certainly fits the mood of the video perfectly.

What do you think of this video? Did it touch a chord in your heartstrings?

Amadou Ly Chats Briefly on His New Vampire Role in ‘Breaking Dawn - Part 2′

Posted February 25th, 2012 By: Evie 1 Comment »

Socialite Life caught up with several stars on the red carpet at Brits In LA Presents The 5th Annual Toscars earlier last week. Among the stars was new Breaking Dawn - Part 2 vampire, Amadou Ly. It sounds like Amadou will be playing a French vampire named Henri, who was written into the screenplay. However that little bit of information is all we know about his character. No other details, like which side his vampire would be on, could be drawn out of the actor, who instead promised that there would be lots of great surprise for the fans. Read the story below:

We adored talking to Breaking Dawn Part 2 star Amadou Ly, whose character, French vampire Henri was written into the screenplay. We asked if Henri was on the side of the Volturi or the Cullens, but that is being kept under wraps. “I would love to tell you,” Ly said with a smirk. Damn you, sir! ”We have a lot of great surprises for the fans.” Yay!!!!

See the full story at Socialite Life here.

Thanks Noor!

These new vampires are good at keeping all the details on their characters under wraps. It will be interesting to see what exactly this new character, Henri, will be doing, and if he’s good or evil.

Fan Video Sunday: Behind These Castle Walls

A very Happy Sunday to everyone! This week we bring you a Cullen Family themed video from hahagiggles21′s channel and is titled Behind These Castle Walls || The Cullens and features Behind These Castle Walls by T.I. featuring Christina Aguilera.

This is a cool video showing how the Cullens were always in a world of their own, despite their attempt to adopt an almost human lifestyle. You can see the level of aloofness they had about them, especially with the humans around them. They were indeed behind castle walls to the humans of Forks, in particular during Twilight and New Moon. Of course, it was Bella’s association with Edward and the Cullens that gave them a chance to interact with the Cullen kids and also gave them a glimpse of the Cullens’ life when they were invited to the graduation party in Eclipse.

Fan Video Sunday: ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2′ Trailer

Posted December 4th, 2011 By: LexiconAficionado No Comments »

A very Happy Sunday to everyone! This week we bring you a fanmade Breaking Dawn Part 2 Trailer from VampireMayka channel.

Having already watched Breaking Dawn Part 1, I know most of us are already eager to see the rest of the story in Part 2. This fan-made trailer is wonderfully done and seems to have all the important parts that we can expect in Part 2, from the Cullens’ planning to the alliance with the Quileutte wolves and the confrontation with the Volturi on the clearing. She even got Bella’s red eyes. I just wish that we have the real Renesmee in it.

What do you think of the trailer? Doesn’t it just make you wish November 2012 is here already?/strong>

Fan Video Sunday: I Gave You All

Posted November 27th, 2011 By: LexiconAficionado 2 Comments »

A very Happy Sunday to everyone! This week we bring you a Jacob themed video from MisFresh’s channel and is titled Jacob || I Gave You All and features I Gave You All by Mumford & Sons.

I love the friendship shared between Bella and Jacob and this is a beautiful video showing the ties that bind them together, even though she married Edward. I admire Jacob for rallying around Bella and the Cullens, even though it was hard for him to be with the vampires and required him to break away from his pack. And even though it is the general consensus that that Jacob loved Bella while Bella was confused about her feelings for him, I’ve always believed it is just fate’s way of keeping them together so that he could be close by and imprint on Renesmee when the time comes, thus still ensuring the close ties between the Swans, Cullens and Blacks would endure.

Peter Facinelli Says the ‘Twilight’ Cast is Like a Family

Posted November 24th, 2011 By: Evie 1 Comment »

NBC has posted a great interview with Peter Facinelli from the Breaking Dawn - Part 1 red carpet where he talked about life on set with the Cullen family, life after Twilight, and some great fans. Check out the interview below:

View more videos at: http://nbclosangeles.com.

On the tight-knit family feeling among the castmembers who play Cullens:

I think there’s a family feeling between all of us. It’s like going on a road trip with somebody, and it’s this has been a long road trip because we’ve gone through five films in three years. We’ve all gotten to know each other really well. We’ve been there from the beginning with each other, so it’s really becoming this little niche family. Then you welcome new family members in. After ‘Twilight’ we welcomed in the werewolves. That became a new piece. With ‘Breaking Dawn,’ in part two, we have a whole other group of vampires coming in. But the core of the Cullens is always there. It’s kind of nice in the sense that we might not see each other or talk to each other for a couple of months because everyone is off doing different projects and are busy, but when you see them it’s like you saw them yesterday. I think that’s a true test of a good friend or someone who’s a family member. It’s not awkward. You see each other and it’s like you saw them the day before.

On being a guest at a very damp vampire wedding:

The set was really beautiful and the tables were all lit with wonderful candles. The bummer is that it rained, like, every day. So as much as it was kind of visually beautiful, there were tarps up and it was pouring rain at time. There was mud all over the floor. At times the tarp would break and water would come rushing down on somebody and it was cold and wet. You just kind of had to keep going through it and know that with movie magic no one was ever going to see that – that it was just going to look beautiful. Then there were moments of just pure beauty, where Bella was coming down the aisle. It’s just a magical moment and really beautiful. You get sucked in by that and forget all about the rain.
