Both Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene were on-hand tonight at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards. Ashley took on presenter duties while Rob accepted an award for Favorite Drama Movie with Water for Elephants. Perhaps the biggest news between the two tonight was the brand new shaved head that Rob debuted. Check it all out below:

Last night David Slade took to twitter and commented on the fury of tweets surrounding the People’s Choice Awards, and Eclipse winning “Favorite Movie”. David must not have realized that the awards were held last night, with his first award starting out “People’s what award?”. David then went on to cheer and within hours sent out a very sweet message through twitter thanking the fans for voting and getting Eclipse it’s big award, before signing off with love. What a sweet message to the fans! Check out David’s tweets below:

Just in cast you missed all the excitement last night for the 2011 People’s Choice Awards, make sure you check out all of our amazing pictures, video and award results with Rob, Kristen and Taylor. Now if you’re looking for more, maybe someone to tell you exactly what happened last night (or maybe you want to hear Kristen talk about what she filmed earlier in the morning one more time!), MTV and PopSugar have a great video montage of the Twilight Trio in action, plus a well written out description. It was Stewart’s first time at the People’s Choice Awards, and in true KStew style, it was clear the “Twilight Saga” star was uncomfortable onstage. But she was sure to thank her fans, giving them a bit of a tease from the set of “Breaking Dawn.”

“We’re shooting ‘Breaking Dawn’ right now. It’s going really well; it’s really fun,” she said during her acceptance speech. Spoiler alert! “I was a vampire this morning in Baton Rouge, so it’s really weird.”

Since it took the trio so long to show up to the awards show, host Queen Latifah wasn’t going to let them off the hook so easily. They were seated front and center, and Latifah put them on the spot with a list of “questions” directed at their characters. Example: If a wolf ate a vampire, but the vampire wasn’t dead, could the vampire eat the werewolf from the inside out? The awkward smile on Lautner’s face was all the answer we needed. But the awkwardness was all worth it when Latifah mistook Pattinson’s description of the “posh” airplane that they flew on from Baton Rouge for “plush.” Oh, those silly Brits!

And “The Twilight Saga” ended the show with a bang, winning Favorite Movie, Favorite Drama Movie and Favorite Onscreen Team, presented by Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman. Pattinson beat Lautner and Stewart to the microphone, and Lautner threw some faux punches at his onscreen enemy. “Taylor wanted to go first, but I wanted him to go last,” Pattinson joked, then let Lautner proceed.

Gossip Cop has found out that Robert Pattinson will definitely be attending the People’s Choice Awards tomorrow night, going so far as to have to fly back to the Breaking Dawn set the same night.
